Imagine that though, you're just walking along the street, you from 5 years in the future accidentally lands their time machine in front of you, and a bubble of quantum phase change spreads through the universe at the speed of light, ground zero: you. You and you are first pulled together as a singularity forms exactly between you, then as you meet, you aren't spaghettified, you merge. Your merging briefly ends in success, your future self's knowledge and experiences become your own, but then, something happens, you start flickering out of existence. Then, instead of flickering out, that singularity was instead slowly eating away, and once it ate a perfect sphere from inside you, it slowly expanded outwards, as a ball of pure white, blinding light. It eventually expands at the speed of light, first the earth, then the solar system, the galaxy local group, and the universe. All is white light. And then? It all begins anew.
