- You are Richard the Dirtshoveler, a peasant living in the kingdom of Larion.
- You have a pitchfork and a nothing else. You wake up and begin working in the
- fields. You see a girl walking towards you with a pitchfork in her hand. She
- looks at you and smiles
- > Nice pitchfork
- "Hey! I'm here!" she says. "I've been looking for you all day".
- She grabs your arm and leads you to where you know there is a well. The girl
- tells you that she has been searching for you since morning, but you were nowhere
- to be found
- > I've been here, shoveling dirt, as I'm known to do
- "It's me! It's me! I've been looking for you all day!" she exclaims.
- The girl begins to cry. Her tears fall down her cheeks as she cries. You hug
- her tightly and tell her not to worry about it
- > I always forget she's a little loopy. So what's with this well?
- "Oh... I don't know". She says. "But I'll remember when we get back home".
- She starts walking off. You follow her.
- > Ah, I see where this is going. Nowhere, as usual.
- As the two of you walk away from the well, you hear a voice.
- > What does the voice say?
- "I'm sorry, but I can't help you".
- The voice fades into silence. You turn around and look at the well. There is
- no one there.
- > I ask the girl if she also heard this extremely unhelpful voice
- "What did the voice say?" you ask.
- "Nothing". She replies.
- > This well is kind of shit
- "Yeah, it is". You agree.
