Shade.

Alexithymiaa: -Jade had assumed her position on the edge of the fountain, her sketchbook in her lap as she flicked her pencil across the surface, filling in the shadows of her cartoon faces. She moved her hand and rubbed her thumb into the pencil, smudging it together.-
Tsaaq: Bliss  walked into Babel with her face glued to her phone, going over her itinerary for spring break. She lifted her head once she passed the fountain. "Hello." Bliss said curtly to Jade before heading to the back cause she had to order bagels for Eli.
Alexithymiaa: -Jade lifted her head when she heard the greeting, waving her pencil at Bliss. "Hey." When Bliss kept walking, she slumped her shoulders, giving a small frown. "Oh..."-
Tsaaq: She took her bag once her order was done she went to head out of Babel, passing the fountain once more. Bliss lingered near Jade a moment before speaking. "Drawing?" She asked.
Alexithymiaa: -She gave a small nod, looking over her characters before glancing up at Bliss. "Yeah... I didn't really have anything else to do."-
Tsaaq: She nodded in return. "Oh, that's fun." Bliss said awkwardly while holding onto the bag with the bagels inside, sort of just looking at Jade and saying nothing.
Alexithymiaa: -She shrugged, her eyes looking at the bag in Bliss' hand. "What did you get?"-
Tsaaq: "Bagels, the usual." Bliss answered as she rose the bag a bit. "Something to give Eli before the trip tomorrow."  She sighed a bit. "I assume you're going too?"
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah... I guess I am. I don't really have anything to do. But I don't know what I'm going to do down there..." She glanced back down at her sketchbook, pushing her hair from her face when it fell in front of her eyes.-
Tsaaq: She pursed her lips a moment. "Yeah. Sounds like quite the conundrum." Bliss said in a soft voice, then felt her phone vibrate. She replied to her text before furrowing her eyebrows. "I'm sure you'll figure it out." She waved her hand at Jade, lazily being encouraging.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, sure." She pushed her fingers through her hair, shaking it out a bit and looking back up toward Bliss. "Who else is going?"-
Tsaaq: She stared blankly at Jade and forced a smile. "Everyone? I suppose." Bliss answered.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh... yeah... that makes sense..." She pursed her lips, twirling her pencil around between her fingers. "Have you ever been there before?"-
Tsaaq: She nodded her head. "Yeah, last spring break." Bliss responded then furrowed her eyebrows, remembering everything that had happened during the entirety of the trip. "It was... fun." She said unconvincingly.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, you really sound like you had tonsss of fun." She mumbled sarcastically, tucking her hand behind her ear. "What didn't you like about it?"-
Tsaaq: "It's really none of your business." Bliss replied cooly. "It was fine." She said in a more stern tone.
Alexithymiaa: "Um... okay..." She trailed off, dropping her eyes away from Bliss like a scolded puppy.-
Tsaaq: She exhaled and tucked some of her hair behind her ear. "You're easily discouraged so I'm not going to aid in that. That's all." She sighed.
Alexithymiaa: "I am not easily discouraged." She retorted way too quickly, stopping after the words came from her mouth and she knew it was a bold faced lie.-
Tsaaq: "You're right." Bliss spoke unconvincingly with a slow blink. "I was just trying to help." She shrugged.
Alexithymiaa: "Okay..." She spoke slowly, dragging her word out. "Well then I guess I'll just have to see you in Mexico then, right?"-
Tsaaq: Bliss cleared her throat and nodded her head. "Probably." She answered. "Get there safely." Bliss said, slightly motioning to go towards the back of Babel again cause she needed more bagels, but waiting on Jade's next words.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, you too." She dropped her attention back down to her sketchbook, not daring to look up at Bliss because now she felt like that bitch hated her.-
Tsaaq: "Nighty night!" She called out, going to get her bagels and things.
Alexithymiaa: (bagels and things)
Tsaaq: ((Oui))
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah." She closed her book, pushing up to her feet and looking back at Bliss before making her way through the building and outside to catch a cab home.-
