- Twilight S-Link 2 (B)
- When you enter the library, Twilight isn't behind the checkout counter. However, there's a decent pile of reading material there, so she must be somewhere nearby.
- Heading into the stacks, you glance down row after row of books until, after a few minutes of searching, you find the studious student.
- Do you call out to her?
- >Yes
- >No
- Despite her thousand yard stare, Twilight responds rather quickly to her name, and turns to you.
- The vacuous expression, with her mouth hanging just low enough that her lips are parted into a small, tight 'o'-shape, quickly turns into a smile.
- Twilight: [Player]!
- The teen's eyes widen as she brings two fingers to her lips and giggles. She smiles and then tries again, in a much more forced whisper.
- Twilight: Sorry, you surprised me. Didn't your mother ever teach not to sneak up on girls?
- >Option 1 - You don't like to be scared?
- S-Link +0.2
- Twilight: Well, I wouldn't say that. Sometimes it's fun to be scared.
- Walking over to you, she grins and rolls her body forward at the waist.
- Twilight: Especially if you've got good company to be scared with!
- >Option 2 - You surprised me first, looking like that.
- S-Link +1
- Twilight looks surprised for a moment, but then she smiles. She gives you a little twirl, showcasing her extra short skirt.
- Twilight: Do you think so? I'm actually really starting to get a feel for this style; it feels so much more comfortable now.
- Planting her feet, Twilight locks her hands behinds her back and bows forward a little, smiling.
- Twilight: This is the first time you've had a chance to see the whole outfit, right? Don't I look really cute?
- >Option 3 - What good is a surprise if you know it's coming?
- S-Link +0.6
- Giggling again, Twilight leans back against the book truck, trying to look thoughtful.
- she doesn't seem to noticed as the bare space of skin between the skirt and her thigh-high socks rubs together as the girl rocks her hips in ponderous thought.
- Twilight: Well, I guess surprises are nice after all, especially welcome ones like you.
- Leaning forward, she smiles at you.
- Twilight: I guess it's okay to sneak up on a girl if you're going to surprise her.
- Twilight's current position gives you an excellent view of her cleavage. As you watch, you can see the weight on her chest jerk a bit more as her breathing changes.
- It isn't until Twilight clears her throat that you realize you've been caught staring. Pulling your eyes away from her partially exposed lacy bra, you apologize.
- Twilight: D-don't worry about it, [Player]! I mean, you're not the only guy who's been staring at me lately.
- Twilight rights herself and places an arm over her chest. Despite this protective motion, she's still all smiles and a pleasant blush has settled on her cheeks.
- Moving to the book cart, she shuffles through a few of the offerings, before placing them back on the shelves.
- Twilight: Anyway, I'm glad that you stopped by again. I've had some time to think about what we discussed before, and I'm hoping you can help me again.
- Twilight: You see, lately I've been feeling a little, um...
- She pauses, glancing back towards you. The red color seeps down a bit from her cheeks to her neck.
- Twilight: Well, flirty. It feels like I want to tease and laugh with someone. But, y'know, doing that with someone feels really awkward.
- Twilight: I'm pretty sure it's just a passing feeling, but at the same time I can't focus on my work if I feel like this all the time. So, just until I get it out of my system, would you be willing to help?
- The thoughtful silence you were expecting lasts all of two seconds before Twilight is stammering over herself.
- Twilight: If you want to, of course, that would be great. Unless you think it would be weird. Wait, is it weird to ask to flirt with someone? Oh gosh...
- You watch her squirm in distress for a few seconds more before giving your answer.
- >Option 1 - Let me think on it?
- S-Link +0.2
- After taking a moment to collect herself, Twilight wets her lips and bobs her head.
- Twilight: Okay, that's reasonable. I mean, I did just come out and ask you out of the blue.
- Sighing, she forces a smile.
- Twilight: Thanks, for considering it at least.
- >Option 2 - I don't mind, if you really want to.
- S-Link +0.6
- Twilight: Oh gosh I knew-
- She pauses, considering the last half of your response. A slow smile spreads across her lips.
- Twilight: Wait, really?
- When you nod, she makes a small, excited sound.
- Twilight: Oh gosh, this is great! I can't believe you agreed. Do you have a weakness for awkward girls?
- Before you can respond, she shakes her head.
- Twilight: Wait! This is probably one of those things that's better to find out through experimenting, right?
- Twilight: So exciting, I can't wait!
- >Option 3 - Only if I can tease you right back.
- S-Link +1
- Twilight's mouth drops back into that cute little 'o'-shape as she reddens further.
- Twilight: That, um, that probably wouldn't be very nice of you. I mean, I'm only doing this because it's distracting me, not because I think it would be fun.
- Twilight: Well, I guess, it might be fun, but-
- The student librarian squirms, then flashes you a shy, but sincere, smile.
- Twilight: I wouldn't mind it if you did.
- Twilight: But, lets save that for another time. Maybe when things aren't so, um, awkward?
- You agree, and the two of you spend a few minutes more discussing day-to-day and school life. Eventually, the book truck creaks, reminding Twilight of her duties.
- Twilight: Oops. Sorry to duck out, [Player], but I do need to get these books shelved. Otherwise Miss Cheerilee might start having to keep a closer eye on me.
- Biting her lip, she leans a little closer and taps you twice on the chest.
- Twilight: I don't know if I could feel comfortable flirting with her watching me, so lets catch up later, okay?
- You agree and say your goodbyes, leaving Twilight to her work.
