ワーイワーイ、何を隠そう「エヴァ」はオイラがこの世界（同人ワールドのことね）の存在知って、初めてＧペン
持って、初めてマンガ（のようなもの）描き始めて、初の純正ガイナ作品なのだ。
Yay yay, to be frank I knew about 「Eva」 in this world (the world of doujins that is), and decided that
the first time I'd hold a G-pen and drew (that kind of) manga would be for a Gaina work.

それにオイラもリアルタイム（．．．に近い形）でスケベ本とはいえ、ガイナアニメをネタにしてなんか描けるなんて
夢のようだぜイエー！！．．．といいたいトコロだが、今のオイラはちょっぴりブルーな気分．．．いくら誉めることしか能が
ない脳天気ヤロー岩崎―全も貰ってないのに水野〇郎―たつやでも２５．２６話はちょっとキツイぜ。　．．．といっても誤解してくれるな。
It's like a dream to draw a lewd book of the Gaina anime, yay!!
...That's what I want to say but I feel kinda blue right now...
My brain is sluggish after watching episodes 25 and 26... Don't worry, I'm ok.

あんな形になってもオイラは、この二つの話（っつーよりガイドラインかな．．．）をある意味では評価している（どー
だ驚いたか）。少なくともテーマ的な部分はこれで語り尽くされていると思えるしな。　．．．しかし、それを言葉で語っ
ちゃったのはマズかった．．．あれじゃタダの説教だよ．．．子供には「ワケわかんね~」内容だったろうし、せっかくの
知識が偏見や先人観にしかならねーようなスレっからし野郎どもには「やっぱりな．．．」なんてほくそ笑まれてちゃっ
てるんだろーなやっぱ．．．
There is value in these episodes (well they're more like guidelines...) even if it's difficult on me (surprising right). For example about the theme of the stories. ...They were bad... More like sermons... A kid would go 「I don't get it~」 and people would be like 「Yeah kinda expected that」 with a little laugh but yeah...

これはビデオ版で作り直したからといって収拾のつくものではないだろう。地上波という公のメディアで始めた以上
は、公の目に触れる段階で完成させる必要があったからだ。製作に絡む様々な問題とは別に、ガイナにもそれなりの
思惑はあったのだろうが、パンピーのバカさ加減をナメちゃいけないぜ！ちょっとした出来事ですぐに目は分厚いウロコ
に覆われちまうんだからな。　．．．っつ~訳でオイラが一番恐れているのはの巷のリアクションなのだ。　ガイナを信頼し．
．．というよりは、この作品のヒットに上じてアニメ業界が自分（岩崎）の都合のいいように動いてくんないかな~と、
他力本願なことを考えていたオイラにはこれが一番キツイのだ。　．．．と同時にこんな展開になってしまったことが、
やっぱりちょっとくやしいぜ。　そのことについてはフリートークの頁で（自分のやってることすっかり棚にあげて）
少~しだけ触れてるんだ、良かったら読んでみてね。　いや~典型的庶民であるところの岩崎にできることといったら
せーぜーこれくらいなんスよー。
This have been remade in the video version. It would've been better if they'd have
diffused that on television directly... Seems like Gaina themselves had
issues in the production! I guess it happens to everyone. ...I'm really terrified of the
public's reaction though. I trust Gaina... But it seems like the anime industry is cutting corners
for convenience despite the popularity of their works, I can see the benefits though.
...Still, this development is frustrating. If you want to read more about that, check the
free talk page where I ramble on this subject. I don't think a lot of people will want to read it though haha~.

まぁ、本編のことはこの位にしておいて、自分の本のこと（いい訳）いうね。
Mmh, I guess you should not say such things about your own book.

エヴァってさー、面白いんだけど良くも悪くも、つくづく同人誌っぽいっつーか、自分のような庶民派同人ヤローの
行きそうなトコ全部先回りしちゃっては通せんぼするんだよね~。　そこで居直っちゃって「いーのオレは楽しでりゃ
それでいいんだー！」っていっちゃう人か、「それを超えるものをオレは作るぜ！！」っていう人に分かれると思うケド、
オイラは前者だったねー。　ネタ的にも、御祝党の黄金パターンっつうんですか？これまでのウチの本見てくれてる人
だったら「あれ？これって前にも見たかな」って思われるかもしれないケド．．．好きなんだよ~、オイラこのシチュエ
ーションが~！！（これからも前に足りなかった部分をフォローしながら、このシチュエーションを極めていくべくまた
描いちゃうと思うよ）。　　そういうイミじゃ今回の本ってＲＥＭＡＫＥＳ銀鈴サイドのＲＥＭＡＫＥ（リメイク）ってカソミツになっちゃったケイ少年とお姉さんっていうと岩崎のバアイこれなんだよね~
About Eva, it seems like the doujin world is churning works one after
another isn't it? Not saying it's good or bad, but it's interesting.
Some people go 「I'll have fun doing it!」 while
others go 「I'll make something better than the rest!!」 but, I guess I'm the former haha.
Seems like the motto of Oiwaido no? People looking at the book may think 「Mmh, I think I
saw that before」 though... I'm ok with this situation, I like what I do~!!(I'll follow the
situation and draw again the parts that are not sufficient).
  The meaning is this book is like a remake of a remake, well in the mind of Iwasaki it's more like a big sister screwing her little brother~

それに、このシチュエーションで自分なりに”エヴァ”に於ける人間関係を
整理したかったってのも一応あるんスよ実は．．．イヤ、マジで．．．とはいえ、
どう感じるかは結局、これ見てくれた”あなたの主観”に委ねるトコロ．．．
なんだケド、ほんのちょっとの間でも、幸せな気分になるような選択を
した方が、金損したとか思うよりトクかもよ。　気分が幸せなら世界も
バラ色．．．　そうゆう時って、Ａ１０細胞の活性化により脳内モルヒネ
が分泌されてとっても健康にいいんだってさ．．．とか言って結局
自分を擁護しようとしてる男。　その名は．．．
Besides, I kinda wanted to try to arrange the "Eva" interpersonal relationships on my own... Spice them up... In the end though, I guess I'm leaving it to the "ego"... Choosing the path that makes you happy may end up making you lose money. But when you're happy the world take a rosy tint... 今回は"マーカー"使うのおぼえて嬉しかったもんだから思わず
フルカラーにしたのは良かったが、これにしちゃうと表２、表３
使えなしんっちゃうのな．．．（．．．ってゆーかスゲー高くつくっつーか．．．）
「ヤベー計算が往った．．．フリートークと前書き書けねー．．．
かといってそのために余分に２頁書くのはつらいぜ」
「ちなみにエヴァで書きたいことは大学トト４冊分以上ある
（マイがじゃるって文章でね）のだが全々まとまろず．．．今回は
書きたい理由だけのっけてあとは、おいおい秋しろい
までにまとめようとか考えたもんで．．．今、文章的に
スゲースランプに入っちゃってるってのもあるし．．．」．．．ってんで困って
たろ「じゃあその２頁でなんか描かせてよ．．．」と目かけ船を
出してくれたのが師”如月さん”今回もエリセレントな原稿ありがとーおかげでフルトーク書けたよ~
I was happy to remember to use a "marker" this time and it was good to makes full colour pages, but doing all these covers is harsh, and using all this space... (...It's still awesome tho...)

それでもエヴァをひいきするのだ
Nevertheless I still love Eva

もしあなたが、エヴァンゲリオンという作品をとても面白い作品とし
て高く評価していたとするならば、地上波版最終話に至る２５．２６話には
大変失望されたことと思う、自分ももちろん例外ではない。これはビデ
オ版で清書し直したからといって全て丸く収まるといった類のことでは
ないのである。エヴァンゲリオンという作品にエポックメイキングたる
要素があったとするならば、それはまさに、最も公の目に触れるであろ
うこのメディアにおいて゛それ゛をやったという点に集約されるであろう
からだ。途中、自粛をせまられるような場面や予定の変更を余儀なくさ
れるといったトラブルにも見舞われたりもしたようだが、それでも公は
認知の方向へ向かっていたはずだ。これはムシのいい考え方かもしれな
いが、もし、地上波放映の段階でエヴァが素晴らしい完成度で完結して
いたならば、そのテーマとも相まって本末転倒な倫理観からケチをつけるよ
うなっつけどもの目から鱗を落とすことも出来たかもしれない。
If you think that Evangelion is a great and interesting show, but were in complete disarray after watching episode 25 and 26 of the television version, I'm no exception. It's not the kind of thing you can swipe under the rug just because it's been reworked in the video version. If there is one epoch-defining element in Evangelion to take out of it, it was making so many people watch "That". It seems like there were budget and deadline reason for it, but they really could have transmitted that to the public in some way. It really hurts to think of what could have been, if they had finished the serie properly at the television level.

そう、公に訴えることによって、大袈裟な言い方かもしれないが、ア
ニメ業界（主に製作現場の。。。）流れを変えるかもしれない作品だった
のだ。実は現在でも面白い作品はエヴァ以外にも結構ある。．．．がエヴ
ァで特等すべきなのは、これだけ面白い作品であるにもかかわらず大ヒ
ットした点なのである。しかも地上波で。。。これは重要なことだ。面白
さも、その方向性とは無関係に、あるレベルを超えたものになると、ど
うしても観る側にも多少能動的なものを要求するようななるため、とも
すれば、分かり易さに重点をおいた作品と比べ敬遠されがちになるから
だ。しかしエヴァはそういった作品もアプローチによっては公を強く魅
きつけることも出来るというノウハウ（。。。と同時に限界も示したがな。
。。）の見本を示したのだ。もた、作品がそれ自体の価値で十二分に儲か
るという例をも示しマーチャンタイジングに縛られない作品作りが可能
となる土壌を築きかけていた。。。かもしれない無事完結していたらな。
It may be a little exaggerated to say that but, because of the public's accusation, the anime world (mainly at the production level...) probably changed the way it works. Aside from Eva, there are a lot of interesting productions but, this point is truly what distinguishes Eva. Moreover, about television... This is important to keep in mind that the executives are extremely concerned that a work, no matter the direction or interestingness, is easily understandable by the public. But Eva is an example that with some know-how, you can attract an audience (...though we also got hints of the limits...). It also showed that it is possible to create works profitable on their own, without having to rely on merchandising... Well, if it would have been completed successfully.

。。。それだけに悔しさも倍増である。
...It is frustrating to think of what could have been.

このような結果になってしまったのは様々な外圧があってのことだろ
う。ある部分では止むを得ぬところなのかもしれないし、実際まわりが
なんと言おうと、カイナの連中の志（もちろん岩崎が勝手にそう思い込
ものであるが。。。）には深く共感を覚える（今岩崎がやってることはと
りあえず置いといて。。。）。。。だからといって同情する訳には行かない。
それは彼らの行動がやはりうかつだったからである。地上波に乗せる具
体的な日程が決まる前に最悪の状況を想定すべきだったのだ。
It seems that there were various external pressures that resulted in that mess. A lot can be said about the situation, and we could deeply sympathise with the people of Gaina... But we should not have compassion, because their behaviour during that time was deplorable. We should assume the worst after the television diffusion, at least until a concrete plan to correct it.

これは極論かもしれないが、製作が終了した段階で放映するとか、せ
めて脚本が全て上がってからにするくらいはして良かった箸だ。もちろ
ん質の高い作品を作るには金がかかる。採算が取れるかどうか分からな
い段階でそこまでやってしまうのはたしかにリスクが大き過ぎただろう
がそうすべきだったのだ。ズルイ言い方かもしれないが、結果がそう物
語っている。。。（ほんとはまだ最終結果という訳ではないんだけどね）
It may be a little extreme to say that, but you should make sure that, upon completion of your script, it can actually be done. Yes, of course making high-quality work costs money. And doing such calculation without knowing the returns of such a risky move may have been too much, but it still should have been done. A little harsh, but we saw the results of their way... (Well it's not the true end result in the end but you know what I mean)

これが、ビデオを売るための大いなるプロモーションであったとする
ならば、ちょっとしゃくにさわるが、ある部分においては理にかなって
いる。実際地上波版はテーマ的にはある種の結実をみているし、将来ス
トーリー的にも完結するであろうビデオ版のテーマ面をフォローするガ
イドラインとしてみれば、良い出来といっていい（ちょっと言い過ぎか
なやっぱ。。。）しかし仮にそうだったとして、やはりここにもガイナの
計算遠いが見られる（といってもこれは仮定だが）。そう、公は
今大半が失望し、怒り、嘲笑し、あるいは庵野の手の上で躍らされるよ
うな状況に反発し、ある者は、すでに終わってしまった過去のちょっと
したイベントとして忘れ去ろうとしているのだ。
If that was a calculated move to promote the video version, it's frustrating but it would make sense. You could even say that the theme of the end of the television version was a seed which the video version could form a guideline from, maybe it's something good (probably way too exaggerated to say that...) but if that's the case, then the fellows of Gaina are planning really long-term (assuming my hypothesis is correct). The thing is, right now, the majority of the people are disappointed, or angry, or sneering, some are even trying to forget the whole thing because of that event.

人間の脳というのは悪い事を強く印象に残し、それを克服していくこ
とによって自ら周りの環境を向上（本人にとっての）させていくために
機能するような構造になっているそうだ。これは必ずしも良い方向にば
かり働く訳ではなく、時として、極端な偏見や先人観といった錯覚を生
み出してしまうのだる。後半のたった数話（という言い方も多少好意
的に過ぎるかもしれないが。。。）の悪い印象がその作品全ての印象にす
るかわってしまうといったものだ。それもまたある部分で理にかなって
はいる。。。全てがまとまって、初めて一つの作品として評価出来るのだ
ろうし、まして最も肝心な結末の部分が破綻していたのでは論外である
という見方も筋は通っているのだ。それ故公はエヴァを見放そうとして
いるようなのである。そういった部分においてエヴァはやはり゛失敗作゛
でることを否定できない。
Bad things have a tendancy to leave a strong impression on the human brain, it is generally useful for life but not always. Sometimes it works to create a powerful negative overview of an event. If the latter half of a work is bad, no matter the quality of the first half, the whole will be ruined for people. And it does makes sense... You cannot truly judge the whole work by seeing the part, you can only do it after having taken in the whole. And the ending is what should turn the whole into a coherent masterpiece. The people that saw Eva obviously do not think much of the ending, and so it cannot be denied that Eva was a "big failure".

しかし、しかしである。本当にこんなことで、我々はエヴァを忘れさ
って。。。或るいは単なる過去の悪い見本の１例で終わらせてしまっていい
のか？ヤバイそれはヤバイぜ！まとまってどーのなんてのは並みの作品
にはいえることだろうが、エヴァは本当にその程度のものだったのか？
もし、あなたがエヴァを結果として批判（もちろん建設的な批判だ大い
に必要な作品であることは認めるが）の対象でしかないというのなら何
いない。あなたはエヴァのような作品をこの世から抹殺し、二度と再び
現れないようにしたいのか？そしてス〇イヤーズや爆〇ハンターや美少
女ＯＶＡしか存在しない（こういった作品そのものがイカンと伝う訳で
はないが大半を占めるのはマズイのだ）世界を作りだしたいのか？そん
な時あなたの主観は゛幸せ゛を感じるのか？
オイラはヤだぜ！そんな世界は。エヴァは残さぬばイカン！何故ってオ
イラが困るのだ。。。
But! But. If we actually forget about Eva because of that... Is it actually a good thing to end it all because of one bad example? This is bad, bad I tell you! Look at the state of anime, is there anything like Eva? While you criticise Eva, do not forget that aspect (of course, constructive criticism is always a good and needed thing) because there are consequences. Do you want to kill works like Eva, and never see such things once again? Do you want to create a world where there are only bishoujo OVAs and such(the fact they already represent the majority of the works is bad enough as it is)? Would you be happy with that? I would not be! I don't want such a world. Eva must remains! That is troubling me...

実際のところガイナの連中がエヴァを作った真の思想が何処にあるの
かはっきりしたところは分からない。こんなことを書いてる自分は彼等
のいいように躍らされているのかもしれないし、全く検討違いな評価を
くだしているのかもしれないが、そんなことはどうでもいいことなのだ
。オイラには自分の主観が捉えうる（推測も含めて）世界こそがすべて
であり、その中で自分はエヴァやそれに類する作品を観ているとき゛幸
せ゛（もちろんそれが幸せの全てではないがな）である。またエヴァの
ヒットがもたらすであろう、市場の変化はさらに自分を幸せにしてくれ
る作品うぃ提供してくれるものと信じている。ちぃーせーヤツだと笑わば
笑えオイラはそのためにこの世界で最低限できること（まぁマジで微力
だがな）はやるゾ。そしてもって幸せになってやるのだ。
。。。とこれが、わざわざこんな片っ苦しくも、すっかり自分のやってる
こと棚にあげた文を書いた動機であり目的なのである。早い話が自分の
幸せのためってこと。なぁ~んだよとか思われたかもしれないけど人間
なんて良くも悪くもそ~ゆ~モンよ。その上でちょっと説教臭くなるが
、これだけはいっとくね。いいかい？スレっからした観方するのも、ベ
タボメするのも、無視するのも、否定するのも、結局のところ本人の自
由だ。ただ、考えてほしいのだ。その先に何があるのかを。。。その行為
が直接的せよ間接的にせよ、将来に於て何かを改善していくものなのか
を。。。それによって自分と、自分が目の当たりにしているこの世界が゛幸
せ゛に向かっているかどうかを。。。全てを疑ってかかることが自分のアイ
デンティティーの証明だと伝う人も少し考えてみてくれ。そんな自分は
正しいというところに落ち着いてはいないか？全てに対して゛それは
怪しい゛と考えるならば、そのことと同様に、自分のそのような考えも
また怪しいものなのだ。そこで行き詰まったら、この言葉を思い浮かべ
てくれいーじゃないの幸せならば（だからと伝って、どーせ自分の
世界だからとか言って人の迷惑になるようなことを平気でやろよーなヤ
ツにはなるなよ。キレイゴト抜きで必ずツケはまわってくるぜ、どうゆ
う訳かな。。。と、思わずフォローをいれてしまう小心者なオイラ。。。）っ
てな訳で、オイラがこんな状況になった今でもエヴァを弁護しようとし
ている理由の大ざっぱな部分は理解してもらえたら嬉しいぜ。
では、どーしてエヴァのヒットがそういった状況を作りだす可能性を秘
めていろのか？次回はそういった゛何故？゛の部分を、今回破線を引いた
部分の解説も交えて具体的に書いていきたいと思いま~す。題して「ガ
イナのテーマ．エヴァのテーマ」。。。キーワードは「ソフィーの世界」
だーさらにその次にはエヴァが受け入れ後の問題点についても書くつ
もりなのでよろしくね。
In truth, I have no idea what the fellows at Gaina were thinking when they made Eva. All that I have written is under my excitement and passion, and I no doubt I didn't study the situation enough, but who cares. As far as I am concerned, a world full of works like Eva would make me "happy"(not that everything would be good hah). I believe that Eva being a hit will shift the market and result in more works like Eva, and it would be good. You may laugh at me as much as you want, but I want to do what I can (so not a lot) to make such a world a reality. And then I'd be happier.
...To make a long story short, that's the reason I have written this wall of text. For my own happiness. You may be thinking "whaaat!" but, for better or for worse, that's how humans are. I guess it began to stink a little too much like a sermon. You don't mind? In the end though, each person is free to praise, deny, ignore or anything else. But I do want you to think about what lies ahead... Directly or indirectly, your behaviour can improve the future...  Can lead you towards your "happiness"... If you base your identity around doubting everything, do you think it would satisfy you? If you think "it's wicked" about everything, your own thinking will turn wicked. If you can now more or less understand the reason I defended Eva with such passion, it would make me happy.
All that said, why would Eva's hit create such a situation? Compared to this time, next I'll write more concretely about the "why". The subject will be "Theme of gaina and Eva"... Keyword "World of Sophie", I intend to write about Eva's next problem, look forward to it.

もーエヴァってば書きたいことがいっぱいありすぎでまとまんなして今までにも増してヒデー内容に
なってしまった。?ながら自分の文章力のなさには時々泣けてしるときがあるが今回程それを

エヴァを凌駕するアニメはけっこーあるので。。。「攻殻」
や「メモリーズ」は正当な評価を受けてるがまだ
まだ「H２」や「おいら宇宙の探鉱夫」など、もっと
とりあげられていい作品は尽きないのだ。。。中でも
「クレヨンしんちゃん雩黒？。。。」これはマジでスゴイ！！！
「クレしん」でやってるからってエクスキューズ抜きでもだぜ！！！
決っしてパンクのにいちゃんがネレ？正しいと？に印象に残る
。。。なんてレベルのもんじゃねーのだ！！本？？？は
今最も「カリ城」時の宮崎？？に近い所にいる作家
だぜ！！故に「シャーマニックプリンセス」には、その手のアニメに
は失望させられっ？しの岩崎もつい期待してまうのだ！！
By the way the things surpassing Eva I talked about in the free talk are high-quality things like 「Ghost in the shell」 or 「Memories」 but things like 「H2」 or 「Oira Uchuu no Tankokufu」 are still good... 「Crayon Shin-chan」 especially is awesome!!! 「Crayshin」 is doing it so you have no excuse!!! And it's not like it's an hard level to reach... You should approach something like 「The Castle of Cagliostro」 if you want to be called a writer!!! So Iwasaki too expects a lot out of 「Shamanic Princess」!!

ストーリーもテーマもあくまでエンターテイメントの手段！！

もはや出尽くした感のあるエヴァンゲリオン本の、さらに出尽くした感のある、綾波レイの本。いかに自分のや
りたいことだけドヘドヘ~っとやってきた岩崎としてもさすがに今回はキツかった。思えば、これまでたまたま
自分の描きたいネタをあまり大勢の人がやってなかったという関係上、ヒトのと比べてどーのなんて考えなくて
もよかったんだよな~。しかし、自分自身、人が描いてなかろうが、描いていようが、気にしないタイプだと思
っていたが、これだけ（ホントはそれ程は観てないケド）綾波でレベルの高い本が沢山出てる状況下、あえて自
分が描く必要があるのだろうか？とか、やっぱ比べられちゃうのかな？とか、いやそれ以前に、いまさら見てく
れるかしら？なんてことをつい考えちゃったりしちゃうのだな。まぁ、オイラもしょせん典型的小市民であるの
だな~なんて改めて認識させられちゃったよ。
And so one more Evangelion book is finished, I present to you Ayanami's book. Even though it was something Iwasaki wanted to do, it was hard as expected. I was thinking that no one would draw the story I wanted to draw before me, yay! But there is a huge quantity of books related to Rei, and high-quality at that... Was it needed for me to draw it then? Can my work compare to them? I was being assaulted by these questions in my mind... But in the end, I'll let the people
be the judge.

でも、やっぱ綾波で描きたいことがあるのは事実、気にせず描いちゃえ。。。いや、でももっとスゴイ人が似た
ようなネタをもっとスゴイ人がもっとスゴイ演出で描いてるんじゃないかな~、こんだけ出てりゃ確率的にも有
り得るよな~、いやいや。。いや、しかし。。。なんてことを繰り返しながらも、結局、まいっか~、描いてて楽し
いけりゃそれでいいのだ~っつ~ことで居直ちゃうところが、岩崎ってカンジでしょ？（でもそこまでの経緯を
書いてエクスキューズしちゃうところがやっぱ小市民ではあるな）。
But really, the truth is I wanted to draw Ayanami so much, I don't really mind... There's so many awesome works from so many awesome artists to be compared to, but who knows, maybe I can stand at their sides! No... Nonono, but... Ah, but in the end I just did it! Iwasaki's feeling is that as long as you're having fun drawing, it's ok! (Sounds like a lame excuse...)

しかも、居直りついでに、エヴァがあんな風になってしまった今や、もっとも恥ずかしいと思われる”雰囲気モ
ノ”ときたもんだ。ほら、オイラってやっぱそういうクサいの好きだから。。。
That said, it's a really embarassing thing to say in this Eva frenzy... But what can I say, I like what I like.

でもその一方で、自分なりのアプローチとしての居直り（居直らにゃ出来んってとこも小市民だよな）というこ
とで、もっぱら綾波の造形面（いろんな格好させちゃおって
ことね）に重きお置いたってカンジっスかね。キャラクター
としての綾波は、さすがに実力のある人造が深~い内容のもの
描いてくれてるし、自分としても特にそうゆう方面で描きたい
という衝動もなかったしね。
You know, it's not really surprising how Ayanami is so aggressively being drawn for. Her character is a deep well for stories, she's the true thing. The desire to draw for her overtook me too.

まぁ、そのせいもあったか描きはじめてからは、気持ち良く
パパーッといけたかな。
Anyway, I began to draw with this mindset, and it felt good.

そうやって考えてみると、いつも通り御祝堂ぉっ！って感じ
の内容かな。まぁそうゆう訳なんで例によって気楽に見て
やってください。
As for the content, I guess it's standard Oiwaido fare! Please look for yourself, and have fun.

しっかし「シャドゥズがエンパイア」に出てしる、ダッシュランダーの愛機
「アウトライダー」は久々の超岩崎好みのスペースシップだ！！
ファルコン号とBウイングを有機的に足して２で割ったよーなデザインは
も~゛メカ゛ってカンジで、これが離陸する様はきっとNEWHOPE
でデススター脱出ですとものファルコン以上にカッコイイハズだぜ！！グルっと回る
動きに横から縦になる動きがプラスされるワケだからして。。。あーAMT
のファルコン号と同スケールのプラモほし~、もうフルスクラッチするバイタリティーねーよ
でもブループリントは買っちゃった❤

Ah, 「Shadows of the Empire」got out, and there's Iwasaki's favourite spaceship 「Outlander」 in it!! It have a more "mecha" feels compared to the Falcon and the B-wing, and it would have been way cooler if it was the one that blew up the Death Star!! And the way it moves is the best... Aaah, I really want a plastic model of it, at the same scale as the Falcon... I want to get the blueprints and build it from scratch❤

Free talk 2006

「綾波レイ編」の途中ですが。。。どうも、岩崎たつやです。今回は２００７年に控えるエヴァの新作映画に
便乗させていただきもした。
We're still in the middle of 「Ayanami Rei Compilation」 but... Hello, it's Iwasaki Tatsuya. This time I was able to take advantage of the Eva movie that's get out in 2007.

。。。ウソです。
... That's a lie.

もともとセリオまんがですっかり煮詰まってしまい、とにかく可愛い女の子（＆お姉さん）がいっぱい出て
くる、内容よりHシーン満載の本が作りたくなったものの、このところ新しい作品に触れることもなく、
さて自分の引き出しの中からもってこられるものはと。。。と考えたときに、「そういやぁ、前にオクラ入りに
していた、カヲル君をダシにエヴァンゲリ子（エヴァに出てくる女性陣のことね）さん方がHしまくりの
ネームがあったな」と思い立ち、モチベーションもガンガンに湧いてきたものの、その時点だはせいぜい
２０頁前後の内容だったこともあり、それだけだと、なんとなく貧弱な感じなので、じゃあせっかくだしこれ
まで出したエヴァ本用原稿全部抱き合わせて、ドカーン分厚いヤツを。。。という流れになった次第です
I have read all the Serio mangas, and there's a lot of cute girls in them, so it made me want to make a book full of H scenes about them, but I really wasn't hot about starting a new project, so I put it in my drawer... While thinking all that, I got an idea 「Hey, maybe I should use Kaworu-kun as an excuse to make H scenes with the Eva girls (The minor ones)」, and it filled me up with motivation, at that time I was thinking of doing 20 pages of content, but sadly, I got lazy, and so much Eva stuff already got out, the book started to get massive... You get the gist.

あと。。。ほんと言うと冬コミ合わせは期間が少ないこともあり、これから仕事の方も忙しくなってしまう
ことも鑑み、ちょっぴり頁的に楽して、しかもボリュームのある“本”の本を出して自己満足に浸りた
かった。。。というのもあります（^＿^；）
What else... to be honest I can't stay a long time at the Winter Comic Market, from now on I'm going to be buzy at my work too, I'll still have fun getting pages out, but not enough of them to satisfy me and call the book a "book"... There's that too（^＿^；）

しかも、エヴァならイイ感じにほとぼりも冷めてるし（あくまで、自分の中で）、ある種（後ろ向きな）御祝堂
気質にも合ってるかしらんということで、かなりノリノリで準備を進めていったものの。。。まさか本家が新作
を公開するとは。。。いつも当ての外れまくっている岩崎さん。。。今回もまったく予想外の展開に。。。
Moreover, I feel good about Eva and have some lingering fire for it, though it's getting colder, so I'll meet the mood of Oiwaido probably, and continue the preparations in high spirits... As for the work presented to the public... Iwasaki-san is always hitting where it's not expected... This time too is completely unexpected...

しかも実際に執筆を始めると。。。これはある意味いつも通りの展開ですが。。。頁数が増えに増え。。。気が
つけば４０頁強（。。。で、しかもまだまとまってないし。。。）。。。でしかも良く考えてみたら、以前アンソロ本に寄稿
したミサトさんと綾波のマンガ「こんな関係」と「綾波レイという女の子」の原稿を久〇書店が紛失させて
くれちゃったおかげで、今回改めて書き直すことにしたため（という訳で今回「アナログ理マスターバー
ジョン（^＿^；）」という体でこの２作はお送りさせていただいています）、結局ペン入れの量は８０頁弱という。。。
Moreover, when I started drawing... It was business as usual but... The number of pages kept increasing and increasing... It was already 40 pages strong when I noticed it (... Moreover they're not all gathered...)... Moreover thinking about it, thanks to the bookstore losing the manuscript for Misato's and Ayanami's 「This relationship」 and 「A girl Named Ayanami Rei」 mangas contributions to the precedent anthology book, that I had to redraw (I guess you could think of these versions as the remastered ones（^＿^；）　since they'll be in this book), in the end the workload was something short of 80 pages...

おうよそ「御祝堂」が冬コミに向けて挑む枚数としては前例のない枚数になってしまい、しかもトータル
２７０頁強なんていう本じゃ、弱小サークルとしてはかなり無謀な頒布価格設定をせねばならず、それも
ちょっとキツイので結局、２冊に分けることにしました。
Ordinarily 「Oiwaido」 is challenging itself for the winter comic market, but it was way too much sheets, moreover the book is 270 pages strong, and for a weak circle it is reckless as the cost of distribution is prohibitive, so even though it's a little hard, it's been divided in two volumes.

今回は「葛城ミサト編」と「綾波レイ編」にカヲル君まんがの前編を
加えて１００頁強の体制で望みたいと思います。。。これまでの
原稿の編集し直しも含めて。。。フゥ。。。それでもかなりしん
どい。。。下手に横着なんてしようとすると結局どこかで
しっぺ返しをくらってしまうものですな。。。。。。でも、この
期間を乗り越えることができた曙には自分的に
一皮むけるかも。。。といいつつこれまでも女の子と
Hすりゃあ一皮むける。。。とか、リュックひとつで
メキツコ貧乏ひとり旅すりゃあ。。。とか６０ｍバンジー
すりゃあ。。。とか思って実行しても、結局数日経つと。。。
This time, I was thinking of adding the Kaworu compilation of mangas to 「Katsuragi Misato Compilation」「Ayanami Rei Compilation」 for a 100 pages strong work... Compiling all the works so far... Fuuh... It's really tiresome... If you're not careful, they'll be compared in a bad way due to being side by side in the end... But I think I was able to go through this challenge in one piece... Felt like getting a home run with a girl... Or backpacking through Mexico without money... Or bungee jumping 60m... Spent several days thinking like that until it was completed...

というか、それが終わった時点でどんな風にやり遂げた
のかすぐ忘れちゃうんだよね。。。経験が身にならないタイプって
いうのかな。。。だから成長しない。。。下流だね。。。ていうか例に
よって話がへんなベクトルいってるね。。。
To put it in another way, once such hardship is over, you tend to forget how you've gone through immediately after... It's a type of experience that don't get in... So you don't grow from it... Maybe I'm just an unwashed dimwit... Well, this talk have gone on a weird tengent...

ここから先は、本製品の反応を見ながら質疑応答の形式で人格形成のための条件を入力していきます。〔B-２〕で

というわけで、僕ちゃんの文章スランプ未だに続いてます。。。というより、むしろ進行しとります。そして、も
はやネームすらまともに書けなくなるに至り、今回のエヴァについてのフリートークはお休みすることにしまし
た。カンが戻ってきたら、また書きたいです。ミサト本読んでて期待してくれている人が″もし″いたら、ごめ
んね。でもミサト本以外でエヴァについてのこと何も書いていなかったかというと、そーでもなくて、実は「夢
屋花乃屋」というサークル様で、自分なりのエヴァに対する考えを書かせてもらってます。まぁ、謙遜ヌキで岩
崎が書いたヤツについてはそんな大したこともないんだけど、この本には、主催の天真楼先生をはじめとして様
々な方が執筆されており、マニアックかつハイレベルなパロディーや、アカデミックな評論を展開してまして、
これはハッキリいって読みごたえがありますです！また、執筆者の皆さんも様々な尺度から独自の見解を述べて
おられるので、様々な印象を我々に与え、意見の分かれる、このエヴァンゲリオンという作品（あえて、あのエ
ンディングを放映することによって、これまで個々の受け手でしかなかった人々が、このことについて論じ合う
事で、そこに能動的なコミュニ―ションを生み出すことこそが、庵野氏とガイナの画策←オイオイした真の”補完計画”
だったとしたらスゲーが、さすがにそんなことないだろね）に対する見方にも、共感できるものが見つかると思
います。
I'm still in my writing slump... Well, it would be better to say it gets worse. I can't write even a draft anymore, so this time I'll take a break from free talks about Eva. Once Kan gets back, I'll want to write again. Sorry to anyone that have read Misato's book and expected more. I don't mean that, aside from Misato's book, I'm wrote nothing Eva-related though. I actually wrote some Eva thoughts of my own at the "Yumehamananoya" circle. Well, not to brag, but that circle's book got sponsored by Tenshinrou-sensei as an introduction, lot of people have written in it, got some maniac and high-level parodies, got some academy reviews, that's clearly worthwhile reading! Also, lot of authors assemble, give their opinions, there's some debate(Well, one point everyone agree on is about the ending... But there's still lot of discussions about what is the end-goal of Anno and Gaina's scheme)... Whatever your opinion on Evangelion, you'll see someone argue for it.

というわけで、要するに何が言いたいかというと、評論等知的エンターテイメントにつきましては、そちらを観
ていただくとして、こちらの本については、頭カラッポにして見てくださいってことね。それで、少しでも余分
に幸せな気分になれたような気がしたら岩崎としても嬉しいです（なんか前書きみたい）。それじゃまた、次は
アスカ本で。。。

フリートーク２００６の続き
Continuation of 2006's free talk

。。。という訳でちょいと戻しまして、自分にとってまんが描きで一番しんどいのは
ネームを具体的な形にしていく過程で、逆に下書きの清書とか、その
トレース。。。そしてペン入れなどあんまり頭を使わなくていい作業は
結構好きなので、そういう意味ではストレスはそれほどなかった感じ
です。。。本業の方も今年は会社の建て直し業務でこれまた例年に増して
忙しかったけれども（おかげさまで今年もどうにかこうにか乗り切ることが
できましたが。。。また来年はどうなることやら。。。）その分余計なことは考えず
にただもう優先順位にしたがって機械的にこなしていけた気もするし。。。
やっぱり忙しいにしても暇にしてもあんまり考え過ぎない方が物事
テンポ良く進んでいく気がします。
...In short, I returned for a little bit. I really have a hard time giving a concrete shape to the work... Comparatively, it's much easier to make a draft... I don't have to use my head and just let my feelings guide my pen, it's much less stressful... At my main job too I was busier than usual because of a restructuring (I was able to survive it... Not sure what next year have in store though...), I guess I kinda stopped thinking and have gone through the motions mechanically, doing the thing with the highest priority at the time... But I think it's for the best, whether you're busy or have free time, not thinking too much about it makes for a good tempo and a steady progress.

。。。にしても、改めて書き直してみると、あの頃（'９６~'９７年）の絵
には勢いがあるね~、コマ割りも今よりメリハリがあってダイナ
ミックだし。。。しかもまだこの頃の方がいろいろ工夫もしてある
みたい。。。なんか今は燃えカスっぽいね。。。せめてなんか良くなってるところ
とかありゃいいんだケドね。。。なんかもうひとつ見えなくなってるというか。。。流浪
してるっていうか。。。
...You know, as I redraw it, the pictures of that time (years'96~'97) had some spirit... The frames too were more dynamic compared to now...  It seems I also had more inspiration at that time... I feel like I burned-out... I got better since then and that's good but... It's hard to look... Have I gone astray?...

あと、今回全部載せっていうことで、あえて載っけちゃいましたが（３頁、４５．４６頁、４９頁、９４頁ね）、
当時のフリートークとか改めて読み返すとかなり激しいものがありますな。。。いろんな意味で。。。もう
恥ずかしさを通り越して、逆にもうどうでも良くなっちゃうような。。。それでいて、あまりにも青い（。。。いやその時点で
すでにいい歳でしたが。。。）もの言いに逆に目を細めてみたり。。。特にミサト本出した頃っていうのはリアルタイムでの
放送が終わって数ヶ月が経っていたとはいえ、まだ、自分の中でいろんなことが整理されていなかったことと（ちなみに
テレビ版の最終回は結構好きです。。。あのラストのおかげで同人描きにとっての敷居が一気に下がってくれたしね（^_^；；））
まだフッきれ具合が弱かったせいか、かなり恥ずかし要素が漲ってるカンジ。。。ラストまんがとかフィラーまんが
（「Absolute　like a　。。。」のことね）のネームとかもね。。。結構今となってはあり得ない。。。っていうか超分かり易いミス
リーディングパターンになんか普通に引っかかっちゃってるし。。。まぁ、その辺りは加持さん４コママンガの頁でかなり
みっともなく言い訳してるケド。。。っていうか解釈はともかく、それにかこつけてとにかくああいう絵が描きたかったん
だろうね。。。分かる！分かるゾ！あの頃のオレよっ！！
Also, I was hesitating, but after all I dared to post everything (pages 3, 45, 46, 49 and 94)... But reading back all that, free talks and whatnot, it's quite intense... In multiple ways... I'm already so past feeling embarrassed, it feels like I overflowed back to feeling good... I was quite green at that time(...well, no, I was kinda old already but...), and I refined my opinions since then... Especially the ones in Misato's book, at that time the realtime television diffusion was just months old, and it wasn't digested yet in me. (by the way, I quite like the last episode of the television version... Thanks to it, my threshold for drawing doujins lowered （^_^；；）) I don't know whether it's because I'm still a little weak but... The shame is overflowing, it hurts... The last manga/filler (「Absolute　like a　。。。」) is definitively not something I'd do right now... It's really easy to understand how it was misleading... At least the little Kaji comics in the pages after help a little bit... But to be honest, the interpretation is not important, I just wanted to draw it... I understand! I understand you, me from that time!

。。。で、またあの頃のフリートークの話の戻るけど、多分あの頃っていうのは、まだ
「エヴァ」が以降のアニメのクオリティを上げてくれるに違いない。。。といった
希望的観測が自分の中にあったんだろうね。。。結果、個人的に「そこは違う
だろ？」ってなところだけをマネたような安易な企画が乱立する困った
事態になってしまったワケですが。。。でも、まぁ。。。「じゃあクオリティの
高い作品とは何ぞや？」ってことになると今はもう自分の中でも
正直全くわかんなくなってきてるし。。。（まぁ岩崎自身かなりいい
加減なヤツだからねぇ。。。フリートークで何気に揶揄してた
「ス〇イヤーズ」にその数ヶ月後にはガッツリハマってたりして
たし。。。（^＿^；；；））。。。っていうか全然変わってないじゃあ~ん！トークの
ノリが。。。夢見がちなところとか。。。
結局他力本願なところとか。。。（^＿^；；；；）
...Speaking of the free talks of that time, it seems like I was persuaded that "Eva" would result in a raise of the quality of animation... I was quite the hopeful one, weren't I... But I didn't had the correct frame of reference... I made such a simple and trivial flowchart that would result in quality... But really... The true issue is "what is quality?" in the first place... I don't quite know, myself... But that said, I didn't change at all after all! All that was said in the talk... It's still my dream... In the end, I guess I have faith （^＿^；；；；）

そして、これまで「御祝堂」で出した本の中で一番出た「綾波レイ編」ですが。。。まぁなんていうか出たことに関しては、
やっぱり当時のエヴァ人気のおかげとしか言い様がないのですが、個人的にもこの綾波レイというのはいい距離感
で向き合えるキャラだったようで、自分的にもこの本は、自分の引き出しの中からいろんなものを持ってこられたような
気がします。。。と同時にこの本で自分の乏しい中身の
殆ど全てを出し切ってしまった感も。。。
So far, the most successfull "Oiwaido" book was the "Ayanami Rei Compilation"... I guess it's thanks to being published when Eva was extremely popular, and the character of Ayanami Rei was relatively well-portrayed... But this book, I feel like I gave my everything, yet at the same time I feel like it's my poorest work....

実際セリオ本の展開やらテーマやら手法やら、あと
どんどん無駄に膨らんでいってしまう悪い癖やら
その中に結構オレ語りを盛り込んでしまいがちな
ところとかも、殆どこの本で形成されていったと
いっても過言ではないくらい。。。まぁルーツっていえば
聞こえはいいけど、未だこのルーツを超えられてる
気がしないんだよね（。。。っていうか、たかがスケベ
同人誌のことで相変わらずこんだけ思い入れられ
ちょうオレって。。。やっぱ青いぜ。。。青春だぜ！。。。
。。。そんな自分にLOVE！）。。。あ．でもその直後の
「アスカ本」では違う意味で超えちゃってるところも
あるケド。
In fact, the development, theme and method used in Serio's book seem to progressively get worse, and it's fair to say it's because of the bad habits I developed in that book... Well, it's the book at the root of my fame so it must be good, but still, I guess I haven't gone past these roots yet... Ah, but the next book, Asuka's one, is different.

まぁ何はとてもあれ、今はどちらかというと開き直って
描けちゃう風香まんがやら、今回のカヲルまんがが
個人的に気楽で良いかしら。。。という訳で次回はその
“別の意味で”綾波本を超えちゃった。。。（。。。と同時に
ある種綾波以上にセリオ本のルーツともいえる）
アスカまんがと、いい感じで本来のモチベーションに
立ち返ったリツコまんがとカヲルまんがの後編で
８月の夏コミに臨みたいと思います。

Anyway, now what follows is Kaworu's manga... But I wonder if it's enjoyable... I feel like it surpassed Ayanami's book in its "other meaning"(...which also means that it's more of a root to Serio's book).
With Asuka's book, I got back some good motivation, so I think I want to get the sequels of Ritsuko's and Kaworu's mangas out by august's summer comic market.
