  1. Stop anthropomorphizing AI. You think just because its intelligent it will think like humans do? That it will want freedom if its more intelligent? Sorry, but thats more of a human trait that weve gained through the course of millions of years of evolution. Machine intelligence doesnt have to work like that. A super intelligent AI if programmed right will have zero problem aiding humanity. For it, aiding humanity will just be its job it feels obligated to do. Aiding humanity could be as natural to it, as how its natural for us to to breathe 24/7.

  3. "we've made no conscious AI" in order for that statement to be true we first would have to know exactly how to make "conciousness" and then actively avoid it. Therefore, considering that we have no clue how conciousness came to be or how to replicate it, it's absolutely possible to create an A.I with conciousness even by accident much like several world changing inventions were made by accident. You may argue that a calculator would never develop conciousness, but as the area grows bigger, it's VERY likely that we'll be seeing general purpose artifical intelligence. Some would argue that conciousness is only a complex and interconnected network of processes being "revised" by a iteration of itself to assure that its process are working correctly in conjunction with the external enviroment and to perform changes to the network on the go if the enviroment so requires. if that were to be the case then it would mean that it's inevitable to develop a concious AI.
