gushing_granny: they had decent energy pools and were pretty strong, but not on the level of the bellatorians

gushing_granny: they found out how to use energy, but it was used in different ways

gushing_granny: the energies they produced were softer, and more gaseous than the rough, tough bellatarians

gushing_granny: they made great strides in astronomy and botanical life

gushing_granny: the plants of their world were varied and very useful

gushing_granny: they had no trouble with diseases

gushing_granny: heh, they made traps.

gushing_granny: anyhoo

gushing_granny: they knew other planets were out there, and wanted to get to them

gushing_granny: they began making advancements in mettalurgy

gushing_granny: which improved their tools

gushing_granny: they dug deep into their planet and found precious metals and energy crystals

gushing_granny: which improved their technology greatly

gushing_granny: and since they were intelligent, they made use of this to its fullest extent

gushing_granny: they began to test these metals and the gaseous energies they produced, and they discovered the elements, and soon after made great strides in chemistry and biology

gushing_granny: they needed systems to record data and information, so they invented complex mathematical systems and computers out of necessity

gushing_granny: their computers were based on gases at first

gushing_granny: but then they found a much faster alternative, radiation

gushing_granny: you see, over time, they began to find out they could use the pulse to transform energy

gushing_granny: and the energy crystals they mined could be used along side this

gushing_granny: this was discovered much slower than the bellatorians who were awesome at using energy

gushing_granny: so, instead of just using the power of the crystals to augment themselves, they created machines to harness this power

gushing_granny: up until then, the bellatorians were pretty similar to the atamans, but these two interpretations on how to use energy crystals drastically affected how their technology developed

gushing_granny: the bellatorians used the energy in the gemstones to further their magic, and we all know how that turned out

gushing_granny: but the atamans used the energy in clean, renewable ways

gushing_granny: from then on, their technology soared

gushing_granny: they discovered that different dimensions exist, and by their extensive testing and research on how chemicals react with each other, created fuel

gushing_granny: that led them into an industrial age, which lasted much longer than it did for humans

gushing_granny: alot of time and research later, they make an important discovery

gushing_granny: some energies absorb others

gushing_granny: they used electricity and gases and radiation to power their appliances

gushing_granny: but with this discovery

gushing_granny: they could create fuel cells that could be recharged indefinitely

gushing_granny: this was around the advent of ships

gushing_granny: spaceships to be exact

gushing_granny: fast forward, they begin to explore the universe

gushing_granny: they discover faster than light warp travel

gushing_granny: soon though, they begin to run out of resources

gushing_granny: there were 3 planets in their solar system that were habitable

gushing_granny: they took over the other 2 worlds with their superior technology

gushing_granny: because their world was sucked dry by constant mining for precious, high-energy gem stones

gushing_granny: what happened when they took over the other 2 worlds?

gushing_granny: they sucked them dry too.

gushing_granny: and it was a constant cycle

gushing_granny: they would go off, find distant world with low tech species

gushing_granny: take it over, suck it dry, move on to another world

gushing_granny: oh, but they made sure to make friends with whoever had tech similar to them

gushing_granny: they were intelligent, but egotistical, they only thought people "worthy" enough to associate with them were people who had tech similar to theirs

gushing_granny: there were 2 races they met

gushing_granny: before the bellatorians

gushing_granny: one of them i dont know the name of yet

gushing_granny: but they have a bloody history

gushing_granny: and the other one is the species that the anti-celestial artificially created

gushing_granny: thinking of calling the race the anti-celestial created the darkkin

gushing_granny: idk

gushing_granny: at this point, they have advanced tech, but are over reliant on energy sources

gushing_granny: and their computers are really good

gushing_granny: not universal computer level like the celestials

gushing_granny: but still pretty damn good

gushing_granny: leagues ahead of our tech today

gushing_granny: so, the 3 species meet up

gushing_granny: the race that had a bloody past are diplomats

gushing_granny: the race created by the anti-celestial took over worlds like the atamans did

gushing_granny: so, they shared culture, they shared tech

gushing_granny: but, the darkkin hoarded all of their knowledge of energy

gushing_granny: because they considered the atamans and the other race inferior

gushing_granny: thinking of calling the other race savarians

gushing_granny: a play on the word savage

gushing_granny: its a decent placeholder i guess

gushing_granny: abbreviated savarian back story

gushing_granny: the savarians had 3 major races

gushing_granny: one was strong but dumb, one was smart but weak, and another was in the middle

gushing_granny: the ones that were smart but weak dominated

gushing_granny: the strong but dumb ones and the middle ones revolted and committed genocide on the smart but weak ones

gushing_granny: they then went on to crossbreed until the traits of their race were combined and now you have pretty smart strong people

gushing_granny: they are as good as the bellatorians at controlling energy

gushing_granny: but they have a special genetic trait

gushing_granny: they have higher pools of energy than bellatarians

gushing_granny: but

gushing_granny: they can only access this energy through training

gushing_granny: its like a light switch, gotta turn it on and off

gushing_granny: anyway, the atamas are chillin, still searching for ways to solve their energy problems.

gushing_granny: but then they meet the bellatorians, who are in a critical state........
