  1. [F4M][SCRIPT OFFER] Clear waters [Edited][Best Friends to Lovers][Shyness][Kind of tsundere][Soaking at the river bank][L-Bombs][Slow Build-Up]
  2.
  3. Synopsis: Two best friends from a long time are finally able to hang out and they decide to go to the river they used to in their teenager’s days. The place seems to be the same as it used to, they wonder if the water is muddy, it could be hard to tell what’s beneath it if so. It may be a good time to be clear.
  4.
  5. *You play as the female friend. Someone who has feelings for him but also suspects that he has feelings for her too. A bit tsundere (Mean outside but sweet inside) but not that much*.
  6. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  7. Feel free to edit it at your performance the way you want it to, I just put notes of SFX and stuff to give my idea. Not mandatory.
  8. ()= Sounds effect I visualized or Voice/ Mood
  9. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  10.
  11.
  12. ---Clear Waters---
  13.
  14. [Scene 1 The walk: The two old-time friend walks through the countryside road that leads to a little river. Grass, some trees, birds, beautiful and untouched nature. She tries to make some small talk and also reminisce about the past]
  15.
  16. (Walking, nature around. Birds, wind, steps, up to your imagination. But avoid any sound that indicates a river, that will come later)
  17.
  18. (Lively and comfortable)
  19.
  20. - I am so glad that we can enjoy this day together, it's been a while since we hanged out.
  21. - With our schedules being so busy and all.
  22. - I think that it is a bit true that after high school it is hard to maintain contact with most friends you had.
  23. - Well, we are BEST friends, right?
  24. - We have been friends for so long too.
  25. - I doubt that we could ever stop seeing each other.
  26. - Don't you think the same?
  27. (She gets closer, teasing in a playful way)
  28. - Hey! Are you not gonna answer?
  29. - No-uh, I want an answer.
  30. - Don't just roll your eyes!
  31. - You think that we'll see each other until our last days?
  32. - Yeah? I'm glad to know that you think the same.
  33. - You do know that I'm quite a busy girl, right?
  34. (Bratty)
  35. - You should feel honored, I made some space in my schedule, just to see you.
  36. (To herself, mumbling)
  37. - If only you appreciated it a bit more tho...
  38. (Giggle and playful)
  39. - Nothing! I wonder what I said too.
  40.
  41. (Some more walking)
  42.
  43. (Melancholic)
  44.
  45. - Even when we live so close to each other, it's been hard to find some time for doing things like we used to back then.
  46. - We used spent almost every day together. Remember?
  47. - Exploring, playing, reading, everything together.
  48. - But you were the quiet one, in most cases.
  49. - And you still are.
  50. - Who knows what you might be thinking at times...
  51. (Chuckle and reminiscing with a happy tone)
  52. - Summers were so anticipated by us.
  53. - Because we would hang out together for the whole day.
  54. - Long days together...
  55. - I cherish those memories. That is why I wanted to visit the river we used to.
  56. - Right now, it is summer and the day it's just perfect.
  57. - It feels like the good old times. Right?
  58.
  59. (Little pause. Defensive, pouty)
  60. - What?
  61. - What do you mean that my clothes are not for swimming? I don't remember mentioning that we would swim.
  62. - Huh? No, I only brought the things for the picnic, I didn't pack a swimsuit or anything.
  63. (Startled)
  64. - What? No, of course, I won't. This blouse and shorts are some of my favorite ones.
  65. - [Optional (To herself, mumbling): I'm even wearing my favourite underwear...]
  66. (Nervous)
  67. - Be-besides the river is probably muddy, that would ruin my clothes.
  68. - What's wrong with that? Are you really asking me that?
  69. - Soaked clothes are the worse...
  70. (As if she was smiling by the end of the sentence)
  71. - Sometimes you are really dumb, for a smart guy.
  72.
  73.
  74. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  75. [Scene 2 The river: They get to the river. They start to look for what has changed and what has not]
  76.
  77. (They stop, and the river is in front of them. You may not need to put the sound of it, it could saturate the audio. But if you can go, for it. The presence of water is a bit of a keyword. At least in my interpretation)
  78.
  79. - Hey, this place has not changed at all. Look, even the tree-log we once moved to sit on is still in here.
  80. - Although there are some conveniently placed chairs...
  81. (Short pause. Suspicious)
  82. - Did you come here before?
  83. - Is that so? Just to make sure about everything?
  84. (Touched and happy)
  85. - Wow, that is really... sweet.
  86. - Thank you, it makes this moment even more special.
  87. (Short pause again. Back to normal)
  88. - Anyways, let's get down to the riverbank.
  89.
  90. ------------
  91. [Optional sequence:
  92. - Here, hold this basket...
  93. - I'll race you to the chairs!
  94. (Sounds of running, panting, etc)
  95. - I won!
  96. - Not fair? You are such a bad loser]
  97. ------------
  98. - Oh, hey. These chairs...
  99. - Did you even check if they were fine before putting them in here?
  100. - No? How could you not do that!
  101. - If I sit in there I'll break it.
  102. (Startled, out of nowhere)
  103. - Not because I'm heavy but because of how fragile they look!
  104. (Confused)
  105. - You said nothing...?
  106. - You were not thinking of that?
  107. (Pouty)
  108. - S-Still, I know you. You probably wanted to say it anyway.
  109. - I say, let's sit on the log.
  110. - No no, I am not going to even try the chairs.
  111. - Well, I appreciate the effort but you really should have checked their state first.
  112. - The log is big enough, we both fit, I'm sure.
  113. (Just a bit of walking)
  114. - I brought a towel anyway, so we can sit.
  115. - Well, duh. It would be uncomfortable without one.
  116.
  117. (They take a seat, very close to each other)
  118.
  119. (With some shyness)
  120. - We really grew up... I mean, back then, this log was big enough for us to have some space between us.
  121. - But now, we are cramped
  122. - It is a bit awkward, right?
  123. - Y-You got much wider.
  124. - No, I never said that you got fattier.
  125. - You are looking... fine. I guess.
  126. - Huh? No, I said... that I'm fine. Are you?
  127. - Good.
  128.
  129. (Awkward silence. Attempt to break the ice)
  130.
  131. - T-This place has not changed at all.
  132. - Oh, I already said that...
  133. - It's just, isn't that funny?
  134. - The place stays the same but the only different things here, are us.
  135. (Another awkward silence)
  136. - Huh? My hair? Y-Yeah, I decided to keep it long/short (Up to you)
  137. - I know that back then, I used to have it long/short but, taste changes, you know.
  138. - D-Do you like it?
  139. - Y-Yeah? Glad to know.
  140. - Oh, why are you still holding the basket?
  141. - You can put it down...
  142. - It helps you to stay calm?
  143. - It's something wrong?
  144. - No? Then...?
  145. - Oh, I'm not hungry yet, don't worry.
  146.
  147. (Pause)
  148.
  149. - Whoa, wait wait wait. Why are you standing? We just arrived.
  150. - Oh, you are just going to play with the sand?
  151. - You haven't change haha.
  152. (Laugh)
  153. - Join you? You are such a dork.
  154. - I'll just watch from here.
  155. - Sorry, but playing with sand doesn't seem that interesting for me nowadays.
  156. (Teasing)
  157. - I was always the mature one too. I guess that some things in us don't change, huh?
  158. (Just a bit upset)
  159. - Me? B-Boring?!?!
  160. - You are so childish, I swear...
  161.
  162. (Try a pause to appreciate the ambiance)
  163.
  164. - I know that back then, we used to come here to swim and play but, nowadays it would be awkward.
  165. - We were kids, there wasn't a feeling of shame in most things we did.
  166. - Then puberty happened and we became... aware of other things.
  167. (A bit disappointed)
  168. - After that, we rarely swam together...
  169. - And sleepovers were not even planned.
  170.
  171. - That one time? Oh.... yeah. It was around our last days of high school.
  172. - Yeah, we came here. It was the last time until now.
  173. - I mean, it was very hot.
  174. - And we wanted a bit of peace after the finals.
  175. (Melancholic)
  176. - But at that time you were not swimming with me.
  177. - You said that it was fine but, I could tell that you were just shy about your body.
  178. - Since puberty, you got so insecure about a lot of things.
  179. (To herself, low voice)
  180. - Probably that's why you never asked me out for a date...
  181. (Snapping out)
  182. - Huh? Nothing... just, thinking stuff.
  183.
  184. (Short pause. Still with a melancholic tone)
  185.
  186. - I thought that, back then, you were staring at me the whole time.
  187. - But you said that you just liked how the water sparkled.
  188. (Disappointed giggle)
  189. - You always have been someone who appreciates details and scenery huh?
  190. - That is why I didn't mind, it is not like you were actually staring at me... Right?
  191. (Just a bit shy)
  192. - As in, a perverted way.
  193. (Almost mumbling)
  194. - Right... Yeah... No reason for you to look at me.
  195.
  196. (Awkward silence)
  197.
  198. - Huh, I said that the water in here would be muddy but it doesn't look like that would be the case.
  199. - I can even see some things beneath it.
  200. - Not "everything", but enough.
  201. - You can't?
  202. (Standing, just a short walk)
  203. - What? You can't see that green thing?
  204. - Or that other thing there?
  205.
  206. (Laugh)
  207. - Wow. I guess that you are getting blind.
  208. - No, I'm telling the truth, look.
  209. (Pulling him closer to her)
  210. - Yeah, come here, careful with the edge.
  211. (A closer voice)
  212. - See? Right there, It's like a ...bottle or something.
  213. - Oh come on, you can't see it? It is right there.
  214. - What? We won't fall, it doesn't feel muddy, it is still -- !!!!
  215.
  216. (Splash)
  217.
  218. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  219. [Scene 3 The clear waters: After diving and getting soaked, the friends will get their feelings clean. NSFW route separation happens her)]
  220.
  221. (It may not be necessary to add gasps or anything, but that is up to you after all. But if you do, try to not make it seem like a tragedy. Short and simple)
  222.
  223. - Are you alright?
  224. - You did hold my arm at the last moment but that only made me drag you down with me.
  225. - Yeah, I am fine.
  226. (Upset)
  227. - Just... ugh. I'm a mess now.
  228. - It wasn't even a dive, yet it soaked us entirely.
  229. - Well, at least the water wasn't that dirty.
  230. - I just need to dry myself.
  231. - I'll dry you too.
  232. - Huh?
  233. - Because it was my fault.
  234. (Commanding and caring)
  235. - Plus you are irresponsible at times when it comes to your health.
  236. - Yeah just, sit there.
  237. - I'll use the towel that we sit on, hope you don't mind.
  238.
  239. (Up to you if want to make the towel and hair sounds, maybe ASMR-ish)
  240.
  241. - What's wrong?
  242. (Concerned and innocent)
  243. - Did I cut myself or something?
  244. - I see nothing wrong in my legs, is it in my thigh?
  245. - No...? Everything is fine.
  246. - Why are you looking away now?
  247. (Short pause, for the realization)
  248. - Huh? My blouse...?
  249. - What do you... Oh! You can see through it.
  250. (Embarrassed but not overdoing it)
  251. - No, no, it's fine. It not that big of a deal right? It's me... your... friend.
  252. - Accidents happen.
  253. - It is just... my underwear.
  254. (Embarrassed giggle)
  255. - Now let me finish drying your hair, ok?
  256.
  257. (Another moment for drying and towel sounds)
  258.
  259. (Feeling awkward)
  260. - Y-You should close your eyes.
  261. - Well, being in front of you with this soaking blouse it's not...
  262. - I know I said it was fine but, it's getting awkward.
  263.
  264. (Startled)
  265. - Huh? What do you mean my face is red?
  266. (As if blushing, but trying to hide it)
  267. - Well, the water was cold and the sudden change... and, I can see through your shirt too.
  268. (Nervous)
  269. - I-I didn't mean it in that way!
  270. (Sudden smooth line)
  271. - I-I mean, it's not bad to look at.
  272. - I- No, don't get the wrong idea it is just that...
  273. - Nevermind.
  274.
  275. (A more intimate and close voice may be good)
  276. - Hey. Do you not see it?
  277. - No, I don't mean the thing beneath the water.
  278. - I'm talking about... us.
  279. - What am I saying?
  280. - Is it not that clear?
  281. (Loving, about to confess)
  282. - Let me... put my hands on your face. Ok?
  283. - Please, hold them with yours while I do that.
  284. - Look at me in the eyes. Look at me.
  285. - I cannot hide it any longer, and I think that neither can you.
  286.
  287. (Short pause)
  288.
  289. - I love you.
  290. - I do! I love you, I love you so much.
  291. - For so long I've loved you.
  292. - And I know that you feel the same.
  293. - I know that you've been thinking about me every day.
  294. - So, please... tell- (Interrupted)
  295.
  296. (Kissing, maybe with some breathing. Think of the first kiss between friends).
  297.
  298. - Can you see it now? Or do you need a bit more to be sure?
  299. - You were waiting for this moment for a long time too, right?
  300. - Me too. Me too.
  301.
  302. (Breathing, kisses, strokes, etc)
  303.
  304. - Wow, I still cannot believe that this just... happened.
  305. (Laugh, cozy)
  306. - So many times the answer was right in front of us.
  307. - All this time.
  308. - I won't lie. When I invited you here.
  309. - I was hoping for this to happen.
  310. (Short kiss)
  311.
  312. - Oh, right. We should dry ourselves this time for real, ok?
  313. - Hey, I've been meaning to ask, the thing I mentioned, in the river.
  314. - Did you actually see it?
  315. - Y-you were not paying attention?
  316. - Then what were you looking-... Ohhhh...
  317. - Well, I guess that seeing me is much better. Right? Hehe.
  318. - Come on, we don't want to catch a cold.
