Meg's 10 Step Guide to Making Friends:
1. Be interesting, not too mysterious
2. Tell at least 2 jokes that make them laugh hard
3. Say your name 3+ times so they remember it
4. Show/share something you are proud of
5. Fill the silence with friendly nonverbal communication
6. Use stereotyping to discern specific interests (be careful)
7. Mention some of your short-term goals (i.e. major in college)
8. Make sure they can contact you later (give phone#, email)
9. Get their contact info, message them 4-18 hours later with joke
10. Make eye contact
