- Due to recent severe stability issues involving Foonetic servers, the ops have agreed to move to Slashnet. This move has been sanctioned by Randall, the Slashnet opers, zigdon, and the #xkcd ops.
- bk will be the owner of #xkcd on Slashnet.
- To connect to Slashnet, use irc.slashnet.org:6667 (non-SSL) or irc.slashnet.org:6697 (SSL). Then join #xkcd. CO2 has migrated #xkcd-sciencefiction, #xkcd-coding, and #xkcd-gaming. Bucket and billygoat are expected to migrate soon.
- This move was initiated on the 11th of March 2019. On the 25th of March at the latest, Foonetic's #xkcd will be shut down permanently, and no user will be able to send messages to the channel.
