  5. //Rebuild, Repair:// For a fate point, August may receive +3 to a Medical or Engineering roll. Alternatively, he may spend a fate point to roll both Medical and Engineering at no bonus to heal double the health, providing both rolls succeed.

  8.
  9. //Doctor Blind:// August’s skill and passion is undeniable. He’s an expert at repairing both biological and mechanical things. If only he didn’t sometimes confuse the two…
  10. //Behold the Machine:// August can become very enthusiastic about impressive or interesting creations, to the point of ignoring important things like how dangerous they might be.
  11. //My Body is a Cage:// August has made many modifications to his body over the years, including a mechanical left leg and patches of metal grafted to the skin of his torso. While they sometimes allow him to shrug off a blow, they also sometimes break down or limit his agility.

  31. August’s talent for repairs has given him quite a reputation. Those with injuries or disabilities often seek him out, his unusual methods giving them a chance where more traditional doctors could not help. His assistance carries a risk, though. He can heal most any wound, but the healing may not leave the patient quite as they were before. His own mechanical limb is a testament to the effectiveness of his creations. It is also a warning to those not willing to accept such a substitute for what they have lost.
  32. A man in his early thirties, August doesn’t often talk about his life before the Nameless Place.
