>"ugh, Not again" grumbled Laura as she opened her lunchbox "I hate tuna..."
>Once again Laura's mom packed her a tuna-salad sandwich for lunch, ignoring her protests
>"Well, at least I still have juice."
>As she sat in the corner drinking her juice, she felt a hand on her shoulder
>"Hey Laura." Greeted Lincoln in his usual cheery mood "Not having Lunch?"
>"wh-uh, Hi L-Lincoln." she stuttered, Surprised that Lincoln was talking to her "no, I uh, mom made tuna and I-I really don't....."
>"Tuna salad, Jeeze that stinks" Commented Lincoln, giving the sandwich a slight grimace "I made some cupcakes yesterday, Want some?"
>"He made me cupcakes?" Thought Laura, completely misunderstanding what Lincoln had just said "Does he like me?"
>"y-yes, I'd Love some." She replied, putting slight emphasis on Love
>Lincoln sat down next to her and opened the box, revealing pink cupcakes with icing drawn hearts on them
>"HEARTS!" Thought Laura, her heart beginning to race "He DOES love me!"
>as the two sat there eating their cupcakes, Laura Didn't listen to a word Lincoln said, or even notice the taste of the cupcakes
>Her mind was preoccupied with thoughts about how much Lincoln must Love her, and what their children would look like
>"yeah so all things considered, Living with ten sisters isn't SO bad" Said Lincoln, finishing a story that Laura didn't even hear
>"That's really interesting" Replied Laura as she brushed her hair to the side, trying not to seem like she wasn't listening to him "I'd love to meet them someday."
>"Yeah? How about this Saturday?" Suggested Lincoln as she closed his lunchbox "Maybe we could read some comics, or watch some TV."
>Laura could feel her heart skip a beat at the thought of being alone with Lincoln in his room
>"YES!" She shouted, Barely able to contain herself "I mean, Yes, I'd love to come over"
>"Great" Said Lincoln with a smile "I'll see you then"
>As Lincoln got up and started heading to the classroom Laura pulled out her cellphone
>"Hello, Mom?" She whispered into the phone "Listen, I Can't go to the movies with grandma this Saturday. Lincoln asked me out!"

>Saturday Had finally arrived, and it Couldn't come fast enough for Laura
>"C'mon mom, We have to go!" Shouted Laura as she waited by the front door "Lincoln is waiting!"
>"Yes, yes" Grumbled Mrs. Genovese as she drank her morning coffee "You told me."
>By the time Laura's mom had reached the front door, Laura was already in the back seat of the car Shaking with excitement

>As they drove to Lincoln's house Laura could feel her heart beating faster and faster with every light they passed
>With the Loud house in sight Laura gasped and threw the door open, causing her mother the slam on the brakes
>"Laura Joanna Genovese, What do you think you are doing!?" Shouted Mrs. Genovese as Laura jumped out of the car
