background; born in busan, seolah was raised by her aunt and brother. she never knew much about her parents, seeing as they left her brother and her with her aunt before she had even turned a year old. her aunt was very caring, and always tried to do her best to take care of the two children -- but she was always busy trying to provide for them that she never really got to see them. as a result, seolah was taken care of by her brother ever since she could remember. despite the twelve year age difference between them, they were always the closest that siblings could be. her powers started to show themselves around the age of six, and her family always believed that she had been born with them. at first, it was hard to believe and her brother and aunt thought they were dreaming for a while before they realized that she actually had the ability to shapeshift. slowly, they got used to the idea, and always told her to keep her powers hidden. when she turned fourteen, she discovered her love for performing, and decided that the only thing left for her to do was audition for a company. her brother was initially against it, afraid she would accidentally show her powers on live tv or something worse, but after noticing her determination to, he relented. she auditioned two years later and made it in, much to her delight.

personality; when you first meet seolah, she just seems uninterested. she has a naturally blank face that makes it seem like she doesn't care about anything at all, and her expression usually alternates between that and resting bitch face. she's probably the easiest person to annoy... ever. anything can set her off -- stepping too loudly, snorting while laughing, and so much more. because of this, she's earned the title of the "temperamental" member. she's just completely done with her members 100000% of the time, even though underneath it all she loves them to pieces. while she can seem a bit standoffish at times, she's definitely not selfish. she doesn't enjoy talking about herself, and when anybody tries to start a conversation revolving around her, she always manages to turn the conversation around to something (usually harry potter, because of her undying love for the series.) seolah doesn't really know how to deal with things she doesn't like, so when she is faced with that sort of dilemma, she either ignores it or blows up and gets really really mad at it for seemingly no reason. because she gets annoyed easily, she prefers to hang out with her friends that don't talk much more than anything (mainly because she doesn't want to see red every five seconds.) underneath her volatile exterior, though, is a relatively funloving girl who can be more than a bit extra. she enjoys displaying her memelike qualities with the same blank expression she always has, and it seems to please the fans so she continues to do it.

first impressions;
→ she was basically ready to stab him. she sort of has a bad problem with patience, and almost everybody annoys her, so when he kept pestering her and trying to talk to her when she obviously brushed him off, she was more than annoyed. she tried to keep it in the whole time he was around, but the second he went away, she basically blew a fuse and just was really cranky to anyone and everyone around her.
→ he wanted to know why she wasn't talking much, and was curious as to why she was just... standing there while her other members were being nice and having casual conversations. so, he approached her,, and didn't get the best reaction from her. at first he didn't notice that she was intentionally being hostile, and kept asking her questions about herself -- which only served to get her even more angry. eventually, he realized that she was pissed off, and as she walked away, he became even more intrigued with her.

how she acts around him;
→ at the beginning, she was still more than a bit miffed about their first meeting, and tried her best to avoid him. at first, it was subtle things, like excusing herself to go to the bathroom when he was around, but eventually it escalated to her physically running in the opposite direction as him.
→ towards the middle, she fiNALLY got over herself and started acting civil towards him. she managed to stay in the same room as him, and even hold a civil conversation with him. their relationship begins to get better, and they even (grudgingly) become friends)
→ once the story is more developed and shit, they're practically inseparable, not that seolah will ever admit it. she actually loves hanging out with him and he somehow manages to not make her blow her shit, but she still acts like she doesn't like him.

how he acts around her;
→ at the beginning, she's a very interesting character to her, and he wants to get to know her better. so, whenever he sees her, he keeps approaching her and trying to talk to her, not noticing that she's trying to avoid him until she literally trips over herself trying to get away from him.
→ later on, he's finaLLY decided that maybe talking to seolah isnt worth it, and is ready to give up when she actually manages to have a respectable conversation with him. he was basically like a really excited puppy and all the enthusiasm he had when originally talking to her came back full force, and their relationship developed as she pretended to hate him.
→ at the end, they're literally best friends and while she acts like she hates him, he knows that she likes him.... like, like likes him. he doesn't say anything though, even though he feels the same, wanting her to realize on her own because she's lowkey oblivious
