  2. EMANATION ABILITIES
  3. ------------------------------------
  4. Magifist - Charging your body with magical energy
  5. Spearbolt - A short directional burst of power
  6. Cascade - Unleashing your energy in a rush
  7. Unfolding - A wild, reckless use of power
  8. Flood - Letting your energy fill the very air about you
  9. Shield - A barrier of power projected from your hand
  10.
  11. You can get further information about an ability with AB EMANATION

  13. EMANATION - MAGIFIST
  14. Syntax: MAGIFIST
  15.
  16. Magifist lets you use the power of your mind to fuel unarmed combat, and has two major benefits. The
  17. first is a passive allowing you to use Intellect or Spirit to determine the damage of your unarmed
  18. attacks if either is higher than your Strength. The second is being able to charge your attacks with
  19. elemental or magical power. By using the magifist command you change the type of damage dealt by
  20. your unarmed attacks to the elements of Fire, Cold, or Electric as well as the pure magical damage
  21. of Arcane, or the mana-draining Aether. Using NONE as your type will make your unarmed attacks deal
  22. blunt damage as usual.

  24. EMANATION - SPEARBOLT
  25. Syntax: SPEARBOLT
  26.
  27. The most basic attack of Emanation is the spearbolt, by focusing a short burst of one's own power
  28. outward from their hand foes can be stuck with raw power. In many ways this ability is similar to a
  29. basic punch, however it will also build up a magical charge that can be released with other
  30. Emanation abilities.
  31. [H: 234 M: 387 -eblrgcxs-]
  32. EMANATION - CASCADE
  33. Syntax: CASCADE
  34.
  35. This attack is much like a kick used by other forms of unarmed combat, in that it follows a pair of
  36. punches or arm moves and ends your combo. However, unlike kicks this ability, and all Energy
  37. Releases within Emanation uses equilibrium instead. Cascade, when used, will gain power from
  38. previous Emanation attacks within the same combo, dealing more damage. The combination of attacks
  39. used will change the effect of Cascade, but regardless of the exact effect Cascade will deal damage
  40. and all strike your target with a magical affliction.
  41. [H: 234 M: 387 -eblrgcxs-]
  42. EMANATION - UNFOLDING
  43. Syntax: STANCE UNFOLDING
  44.
  45. This stance allows you to burn the power of your resistance aura to fuel your unarmed attacks. While
  46. in this stance every unarmed attack you make will be more powerful but will also slightly lower all
  47. your resists. The more of your resistance burned away the greater the power bonus will be, but also
  48. the greater the risk. The resistance penalty from this stance will slowly recover with time.
  49. [H: 234 M: 387 -eblrgcxs-]
  50. EMANATION - FLOOD
  51. Syntax: FLOOD
  52.
  53. Flood is an Energy Release that is more defensive in nature than its fellows. While still doing a
  54. significant amount of damage, the flood of energy you unleash on your foe will permeate the air
  55. about you. This will give you a short-lived defense that varies depending on the exact combination
  56. used. You can only be surrounded by a single type of energy from this ability at any given time.
  57. [H: 234 M: 387 -eblrgcxs-]
  58. EMANATION - SHIELD
  59. Syntax: SHIELD
  60.
  61. The defense move of an Emanator, this ability allows you to absorb a portion of the next attack you
  62. receive. This move builds up more energy for your Release than the attacks in Emanation, however it
  63. deals no damage of its own. The energy it builds up for release is of a physical nature.
