  12. SmashTheRecord was the first time I got to take time to reflect on how I'm doing stream-wise and recollect my thoughts without feeling guilty about not streaming as frequently as possible.

  18. This came from the pressure of delivering huge, lengthy streams while keeping an upbeat attitude all whilst I didn't feel too great, exhausted, or unprepared because running low on time before offline chat got impatient w/ expectations.

  20. I also realize that I'm creating those expectations of daily 12hr+ streams by attempting to do them. There's a huge list of things I want to do to fix for the stream, to get it to the standard I feel happy to share, but I can't realistically do that without subtracting from the overkill-length streams.

  22. I want to test out a soft-limit of 10hr per streams. If going hard, but not until I'm literally passing out, enables me to do offline production, answer fan questions in my Discord, and not neglect gym (like I've been doing for nearly a month now), I'd expect the true homies to understand.

  24. ▤▤▤ Improve the Viewer-Request Level queue for SMM

  26. I never wanted to gate playing viewer-reuqests levels behind donations, but they stack up quite badly and I'm still very, very behind on them. I've been thinking about using a time-sensitive policy of playing for 15min, and if chat spams enough, unlocks going into editor to tinker and understand the level, then afterward beating it within 10-20min. So it'd follow something like this:

  29. > after 15min, I continue to try (if progressing) until chat full spams "BabyRage GO TO EDITOR BabyRage"
  30. > Hop in editor and understand the level
  31. > for another 15min, try to beat the level. If unbeaten, move on and come back to it later during the following hour of viewer request.

  37. Tomorrow (not today's stream) I will do Story Time. I didn't take much pictures, but I defintiely have stories to share about my trip. Catching up with Cosmo, Fuzzy, & MajinPhil; RealTalk w/ the homies DJNintendo, Moon, SFAT, NintenDude, etc; and how I did something different for the presentation of a Yoshi's Island speedrun at STR.

  43. The game is a great playthrough, but from what I played so far, I'm too certain I want to speedrun it. The movement and level pacing aren't good enough for me.

  45. However, that is only an impression of ~10hr played. I haven't beaten the game yet nor 100%'d it, and I'll do both throughout afterparties after SMM from here onward.

  51. Here's a bunch of things I want to fix for the stream, no order:
  52. - Direct-feed audio w/ mixer; while I wear wireless earbuds
  53. - Finish up new stream layout with chill Photoshop Streams (later this week?)
  54. - Improved viewer-request level queue management for SMM
  55. - Set-up some sort of Amazon Swag Playlist (Where you can see what I buy regularly for fitness/misc on Amazon and purchase as well to unleash your inner TriHard)

  61. Taking time to relfect on emotes, I'm surprised there's so many weeabs in my chat! I thought once the view count blew up, it'd be a bunch of normies who would hate Chinese Cartoons and dislike what emotes I have so far. Glad to see that's -not- the case and I'm very happy to venture even further that direction with future emotes!

  66. This still leaves vacant slots for awesome ideas. Next newsletter I'll open a poll for "Best Girl of Monster Musume" and definitely add the winner as an emote, but I'm also open to anything else you want to spam in chats, yet lack as an emote. Talk to me.

  72. The bad games I originally wanted to play for a possible GDQ Awful Games Block submission already passed (blame SMM being too good), but I can still check them out and see how awful they are.

  74. Some point within November, I'll wrap-up SMM and play Winnie The Pooh (PS1), Bomberman: Act Zero (360), and possibly Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkenss (PS2). But honestly, I don't think these are going hard enough. Feel free to suggest some truly horrible shit. Console release preferred.I'm trying to find a potent dank game*.

  82. I've decided I want to do a finale movie night. Whether for Thanksgiving or Christmas is still to be decided. I'll poll on it next newsletter (I'm behind one, so we'll do another newsletter later this week).
