Your Spider Sense was, while incredible and revolutionary for its time, pretty primitive given how it only sensed three-dimensional fluctuations in the atmosphere whereas your Hyper-Regeneration relied upon utilizing principles inherent in cancer to force your body to patch up any injuries within minutes. For the former you had your Multidimensional Perspective Adjustment and for the latter you could just self-Alter or use a healing item. So it was time to drop them and switch to some new mutations.
