- Atro Gwyn says, "Hm, a problem then. It's best to not have people wonder off to much, right now. With what seems to be word of Jianghu rebelling."
- Although Kagevoy's startlement is amusing, hearing that Zogen's death was confirmed brings hands, now a more manageable size for most, to slap down against the edge of the fountain.
- Eyes narrow, and a light, faint hum runs through the demon's body, gills flaring slightly. The lack of a name brings fangs to bear against his lower lip, stretching up slightly.
- "Well. If they are rebelling, surely it should simply be a matter of immediate reprisal?" A reply to Atro is quickly spat out.
- (Eiphraem)
- rubbed his chin, this was true. Any being can die. Powerful or weak. Young or old. Sometimes you just weren't lucky, or sometimes the odds were against your favor.
- He truly needed to get stronger, and become more aware of the events of the world, as well as better understanding people's motives.
- Well, from how Cadura and Eiphraem had evolved, he supposed it was his own turn to evolve so to speak.
- He focused his mana within his body and began to draw upon his nature, his race. Scales would start to form here and there across his body and he'd grow out a pair of draconic wings. Maybe even horns, he wasn't too sure as he had never done this before.
- (Kagevoy Nelham)
- The Archon was not very pleased about Zogen's death either, but by now, he had already accepted the fact, and spoke of it rather casually. Deaths of Demons happen frequently, and those that fail to assert their power and dominance oft find themselves killed off.
- Such was the nature of a Demon. Kill or be killed.
- "It is frustrating, indeed. Hopefully, we'll be able to recover."
- Although- among the crowd, there was certainly one comment that ticked him off. Atro's.
- Zaruma turned his gaze to the blond haired man, a pair of crimson hues narrowing at his posture. It was clear that he still held displeasure in the forces of Cruxati residing here, especially considering the past of their people taking the valued ones from Aetherius.
- "That is the bed you made..."
- A quiet comment, and Zaruma turned his gaze elsewhere. What to judge of it remained to the rest that heard it.
- (Zaruma)
- It was clear to see, despite his rough exterior that the Archon was also very unhappy about the events which lead to Zogen's passing. Yet, he seemed to have gotten over it by now-- Perhaps something which demons could do a lot easier than people. It would explain a lot about their race, after all.
- "Yes. I am sure we will be able to recover. We'll just need people to step up to the plate in his absence.. However long that may be." he'd comment, glancing towards his staff momentarily; thinking about perhaps stepping to the plate himself.
- In truth, he was too weak. He was no where near the strength of Zogen. Perhaps soon, he'd ripen more-- His abilities becoming more honed.
- "Hmh.. I need to get out of these clothes. I'm a criminal to the people who wear these. So there's no need for me to wear it anymore. Zogen was going to help me change them..." he'd grumble.

- The crimson of Zaruma is met with a cold blue from Atro. Gazing impassively at the archon, and leaning back against the temple wall. His head shifts to the side.
- "Personally, I wanted to burn Jianghu prior. But it's too late for that, and we simply have this- this present now." He waves dismissively.
- "Counter attack, yes. That's what will happen, from both sides. It's always the same, these lands filled with war." He looks down at his hands, flexing fingers. "But now- we'll do an appropriate purging."
- "Ideally, my thoughts were to have your demons could grow so that more archon could appear, but well, this was quick, but not unexpected."
- Now his eyes finally return to Zaruma. "Yes, angry, but for now, let's be rid of Jianghu, their order, and Ezmara that always acts stagnant. Then the trade- demons can grow, and with those we have co-existence and not war. To grow. For now, we eradicate Jianghu, as they always seem to kill your kin or betray other nations. Hatsune is one of the reasons that war before happened. She's gone, let's put this aside and work towards our co-existence without that trouble of Jianghu."
- (Atro Gwyn)
- Cadura says, "eradicate.... we can eradicate them now ?..."
- Kagevoy Nelham says, "I doubt we could with the people standing just here in the town square."
- Cadura says, "dont be a fool nelham.. you do it one by one ..."
- Cadura says, "its obvious that frontal attacks dont work anymore.. we gained nothing"
- Daigo grunts.

- For all that Atro had spoken to, this was mostly met by Zaruma's silence. The Archon's face remained expressionless throughout entire time he kept hearing Atro.
- None of those words were truly taken to heart, as truth or as something to deeply consider. Had he suffered less backstabs, especially those that call themselves his ally due to efforts of Tragedy, perhaps this could've been different.
- But one cannot change the past, just like they cannot mend the wounds.
- "Let me remind you, Atro, it was your spouse that betrayed us."
- "That betrayed me."
- The Archon didn't seem very amused by the idea of cooperating with those that had taken their time and effort to cause this pain to him, and that much was clear.
- "And it was your people that declared my kin to be kill on sight, it was your people that killed Choi..."
- "You've brought this on yourselves."
- A single glare was thrown back at Atro, a crimson glimmer that reflected Zaruma's eye by the time he had said that; and yet, the Archon shifted his gaze elsewhere once he was done speaking, showing what he truly felt about this all.
- (Zaruma)
- And so Atro sighed, gazing forward, towards the fountain rather than the archon.
- "Yet I just told you, it was Hatsune's actions, then many on their own. Some doing so, not taking captives and acting without orders. Then there were the raids, to which we both retaliated." He folds his arms and leans further back against the temple.
- "I already assumed that your feelings, Zaruma. But this war between us is over. We're not assaulting one another. We're not weakening each other. We're going to end Ezmara and Jianghu, then we'll work towards prospering. This- was quick though and as I said. I was hoping for time to see more archon come out."
- Once again he looks downward towards his hands, clenching into a tight fist. "Theh blame I'll accept though, is for not finishing off Ezmara and Jianghu. To which this problem wouldn't have happened. We had ideas to end Ezmara, but rapid progressions of events."
- (Atro Gwyn)
- There was much for Zaruma to say towards Atro regarding all of this. Truthfully, he still held no faith in Cruxati whatsoever; in his eyes, it was a necessary alliance for them, or otherwise Jianghu would sweep them off the land through sheer numbers alone. That's where they required Aetherius to assist them.
- And that much the Archon realized. Although, that note brought about another thought - if Cruxati were to perish, Jianghu's eye would turn towards Aetherius, no doubt.
- They were not united by any true bond, only necessity to destroy Jianghu.
- "To be united by hatred is a fragile alliance..."
- Those were his words of response towards Atro's claims of their union - as usual, little to no direct answers, and yet so much said through indirect messages alone.
- To any that would care to figure it out, at least.
- "We'll see."
- With a brief inhale, Zaruma's gaze was pointed elsewhere entirely. It may seem that the conversation was over, least Atro had anything else to add to his words.
