Hi. I'm Mike Foster aka Alyxia ingame on the Reckoning server in Archeage. I run 3 guilds part of our gaming community ingame consisting of 250+ of your customers.

Recently there was an issue with an ingame bug where the peace funds were miscalculated and multiplied. Last Friday before the incident occurred the active peace fund on Calmlands, owned by our ruling guild was 45000 gold and some change. Naturally we assumed that with this peace fund amount other guilds would be bidding in the realm of 20-30k due to the fact the winning guild receives roughly half of the peace fund and taxes, totaling over 25k.

We bid 34k including the 1k gold fees to beat our other guilds under the knowledge that we would siege and receive nearly the same amount back as the peace fund.

Saturday morning the bug happened server side during downtime bringing the peace fund to over 180k. We obviously did not expect this and even tried to raise our bid further but bidding was over. Due to this bug the Trion team changed all peace funds to 10k flat as it would not be fair for our guild to receive 90k+ for a bugged event. This makes sense.

However, in this process we had already bid 34k on the 45k peace fund the day prior. Because I didn't have the funds alone to bid 34k, I asked our entire community to send gold and pitch in. By pulling my ingame mail logs on "Alyxia" you can see all of the support the guild provided. Everyone did this unbeknownst of the bug that was to happen Saturday. We made promises that once we received the 30k+ peace fund everyone pitching in would get their money back.

Getting a flat 10k without taxes was a massive blow by Trion to us. Nearly a hundred Patron players pitched in on that bid only to have it taken away by Trion by no fault of our guild or players, but a bug with the game code. We have effectively lost our 30k of our earned ingame gold.

We have posted messages to the forums, reddit, Facebook and twitter. We have obtained the written address of Trion CA and their number, and of course this email. We are trying all options before escalating it further. We like to think you all are just swamped rather than simply don't care.

Again, I spend time everyday trying to convince these 200 something players in my community to wait for fair compensation. We just want our bid back so I can give back the gold to all of these players that have been with my community for years. They all pitched in and they're at the breaking point to of a mass refund/consumer complaint.

So closing, I'm hoping this reaches someone who understands the situation. We are not asking for gold that wasn't already in the game, just our gold we pitched in to an amount that Trion changed to 10k, that was 45k when we bid.

I've asked my streamers and members to remain civil until you fix this. I dont want to paint ourselves as an unruly mob.
