  1. "And I understand if it's your problem. I won't get involved if you don't want. Thing is, I'm looking for the nearest settlement and if my guess is correct, it's in the same direction you're going. So I'm afraid we'll have to follow you until we get there." Kara replied, following the woman.

  3. Once they reached the canyon, she had to lift up an arm to cover the glaring sun from her eyes. Kara could see a cave in the distance with miles of narrow valleys in between. She saw the woman keep walking ahead and followed her.

  5. "It might be your problem, but you'll only cause more of them if you go after these bandits alone," Steve warned with an almost stern tone to his voice. "They are all armed, they are all dangerous, and they will kill anyone that so much as look at them the wrong way. Unless you're planning on going to them in a freaking tank, walking into their den alone is a suicide mission. Going in there with backup will even the odds."

  7. Rebecca just blinked at Steve's words. Wow, this guy was serious. It sounded like he had been at this sort of thing for a while.

  9. "Wow, you really seem to know what you're talking about," the healer said. Steve just shrugged his shoulders.

  11. "I've never actually been to Pandora personally before," he admitted, "but I've played Borderlands in the past. I'd like to think I know a few things about this place. Thankfully, our vengeance seeker is making her way towards New Haven, which is a nice enough settlement here on Pandora. The sooner we can get there, the better."

  13. Steve still needed to let his Red Devil spell cool down, so for the moment, a Runner from one of Scooter's Catch-A-Ride stations was the best bet in getting to New Haven as quickly as possible.
