  1. ... are anything BUT reliable!
  2.
  3. Here's what the authors themselves say:
  4. “Please note:
  5. Tau Analyzer does not provide an absolutely warranty in results of detection. Sometimes the program can show a wrong result for single track (please see Testing Results and algorithm details at our site).
  6. Thus, to make sure you should check all of the CD contents for more trustable CD conclusion, except some special cases”.
  7. NEED I SAY MORE?
  8.
  9. Apparently, I do.
  10. You, Karlos from Středočeský kraj (according to your IP address), are NOT without blame.
  11. I can certainly understand someone concerned about a CD-rip downloaded from a *random source* without the *proper documents*.
  12. You however, act as if there's no Audio Extraction Log, no screenshots of the ripping process, no ANYTHING!
  13. Should I also mention there's a photograph of the actual CD included with the same date as the logs?
  14. Is there something wrong with your eyesight or are you simply paranoid?
  15. What will it take to *convince* you?
  16. How about the receipt, will that do?
  17.
  18. Let's see...
  19. Ordered January the 18th, 2012 from Amazon.co.uk [Price: £3,99].
  20. btw, I hope you consider Amazon trustworthy [actual Amazon, not some 3rd party seller] - We wouldn't want to get any bootlegs, would we?
  21. Will you be needing a hard copy or will a screenshot suffice?
  22.
  23. Now, seriously. I can tolerate a lot of things. (Recurring) stupidity is NOT one of them.
  24. All of sudden, everyone's an expert :x
  25. I couldn't care less about Audiochecker, TAU Analyzer or any other Authenticity Detector crapware!
  26. You want to know what I *detect*?
  27. A bunch of teenagers who haven't bought a single album (in its physical format) in their lives, yet their hard drives are full of *music*.
  28.
  29. My suggestion:
  30. 1. Get (buy or borrow) a copy of David Lee Roth's “Eat 'em and smile”.
  31. 2. Flip the disc and confirm it has the same SID Codes - different pressings produce different results.
  32. 3. Use EAC or dBpoweramp (properly configured - it goes without saying) to extract the audio/convert to lossless format.
  33. 4. Post the reports of your super-duper programme.
  34. [Optional]
  35. 5. Let us know what your next move is going to be when the results turn out to be identical.
  36. Legal action against the label, Warner Bros., perhaps for "tampering with the master tapes"...
  37.
  38. P.S. Forward this message to anyone else who might share the same *concerns* so as to STOP WASTING MY TIME!
