Kuei Jin House Rules

- Dên rolls can be rolled only be rolled once an OOC week, and only during dramatic and appropriate moments.

- Social bonuses given to Dharma 7+ apply to all Shen.

- While the process of a Kuei-Jin creation is very similar and in fact relies on most of the systems of Vampire: The Masquerade, it is important to note that not all traits and features presented in VtM are available to Cathayans. Players who decide to play Cathayans are expected to know what is appropriate and what isn't (Guidelines are available in the book as well).

- Upon character creation a Kuei-Jin is encouraged if not outright required to purchase a handful of Secondary Abilities that portray the methods they use to follow their Dharma.
Examples: Alchemy, Archery, Artistic Expression, Crafts, Dancing, Empathy, Herbalism, Martial Arts, Performance, Poetic Expression, Seduction, Survival, Torture and, of course, Meditation.

- Characters without a complete Player-Characters Wu may ask a race Moderator to assign them NPC Wu.

- For every point of Nushi Background you purchase you may consider it as if each of your NPC Wu have purchased a dot as well.
E.g a player with all NPC-Wu who purchased 2 dots of Nushi may consider the Nushi as 10 pt.

- Horoscope Background rolls may be cast once per night. For Cathayans who follow the Thousand Whispers Dharma the lucky number on the roll itself is 10 rather than 0 due to obvious reasons.

- Custom P'o Natures / Rites or any other custom mechanic must go solely through Lirbo.

- Barbarian P'o Nature require a Kuei-Jin Race Moderator's approval due to the extreme dangers considering the fact the Chronicle is Western.
