I'd like to become a developer (among other things - I'm that kid who wanted to be a hundred different things, and then became an adult who still wants to do several different things.  I should have this better figured out by now).  Creating things and having my mind stimulated with challenges sounds appealing to me.

I've tried to learn on my own, but it was easy for me to get lost and get off track, and I never progressed much, so I decided to enroll in these classes since I thought it would be a more traditional style of classroom teaching (I'm glad this class is supposed to be a bit more traditional than the previous ones).  I'm excited to learn!

As for the challenges, I'm in front of a computer screen all day at work, so then it's hard for me sometimes to pull out my laptop and be in front of a screen for more of the day/evening while working on assignments/reading.  Too much screen time gives me a headache.
