  1. 30 minutes before the first race begins, make a channel on SRL like so:
  2. .startrace smw
  3. .setgoal No Starworld - 1pm EST - SpeedGaming Winter Tournament Qualifier
  4.
  5. (for future rooms, change the time to whenever it's supposed to start)
  6.
  7. Join the race to gatekeep it.
  8.
  9. When the first person finishes, make another race room. Periodically post the name of the new race room, #srl-XXXXX, in the old race room so people know to move over there as they finish.
  10.
  11. The next race should start 50 minutes after the previous one started. Even though we've blocked off 5 hours (enough for 6 races), we'll have an extra 30 minutes of buffer tacked on to the end in order to allow some slack in case the races are spaced a little further than 50 minutes apart. It won't end up being exactly 50 minutes since people will be slow to ready up or take care of issues. So make sure you adjust the official start time to reflect when the race will actually start. Typically they've been about 55 minutes apart.
  12.
  13. [if you have write-access to the spreadsheet sheet]
  14. Enter the times into the spreadsheet. For each race there is a minutes (MM) and seconds (SS) column. Fill those columns in. Round down to the second. So 34:25.72 would become 34:25. You can use their SRL time as the official time (remember we're using SRL time which will 2.2 seconds longer than the time that their splits stop at, since people use a 2.2 second lead-in). If a person .dones and then accidentally .undones make sure to use their original .done time. If anyone has a dispute about their time, have them send you a link to their VOD so you can determine the time manually.
  15.
  16. REMINDERS:
  17.
  18. You don't need to mark players as "Done", but you should switch audio when people finish.
  19.
  20. You can switch some of the players with each race. Mostly we try to show the better players, but we want to make sure everyone gets on screen for at least one of the races. If you want you can swap in the slower players after the faster players finish. But only if you have time. It's not required that you do this.
  21.
  22. You don't need to hit Episode Finished after each match. We're just using one match for all 6 races. But after the session is over, you'll need to hit Episode Finished 6 times in order to advance past all the placeholder matches in the system.
