  1. Rags Rheingold was born to a mother he cant really remember nearly as well as he wishes. She was a singer at the local tavern, and it was here that she met the man who would be Rag's father. Or rather the waste of space that would skip town after a single night. Rags was born 9 months later, giving his mother quite a shock when it came to his Demonic Heritage, something the man she was with showed no sign of. Corruption in the bloodline laying dormant can be a hassle. She loved her son anyways, and raised him, with a different name at the time, for 7 long years. She sang him to sleep, bought him a tiny lute he would play badly with her singing, and loved him every moment of the day. Unfortunately, this time would be cut short on his 8th Birthday, when the demonic heritage within him fully bared it's teeth. There was a reason his father had skipped town. Rags' Great Grandpa had made a deal with a demon in his lifetime, trading power for the life of his descendant. And that descendant was Rags. And on that day the Demon came to collect. It all happened in a blur that he tries not to remember. The demon showed up, his mom tried to protect him, he was covered in his mother's blood, a man in shining armor showed up, and he blacked out. When he came to, he was in bed with the man in armor nearby. He was a Paladin of Ragathiel, and he was on the trail of that demon when it came to take Rags. He drove the demon off but couldnt save his mother. He offered Rags a choice. He could live quietly, find someone to live with, or he could train with the Paladins to fight the evil that took his mother. He made his choice, and years later he was made a member of The Crimson Templars with his new name, Rags Rheingold. (As an aside he took the name Rags partially from the first part of Ragathiel's name)
