  8. I believe that early tower is faster since you have fewer turns in Falkner's gym (mainly Abe and Rod - 4 fewer turns - these guys love using Growl and Sand Attack). You do have to take an extra turn on Hoothoot though, and more chances to get hit by Vine Whip so it is likely riskier. Might be better to do late gym if early game bad?
