- This is based off of the board game "Battleship", where players must try to sink each other's ships to claim victory. Here are some basics of these races:
- "Yeecht" is pronounced "yeet". It is a play off of how "yacht" is spelled.
- We WILL call it several names. This is a meme.
- The rules (as of episode 8) are:
- - There are six yachts: 1 2x1, 2 3x1s, 1 4x1, 1 4x2, 1 5x1.
- - Yachts may not be touching.
- - Diagonals are not allowed.
- - There is a 5 minute limit to placing yachts.
- - You must CATCH (not receive via breed, gift, event, or evolution) the Pokemon before you can call it out.
- - You may use information from the above methods to find the Pokemon you need to catch.
- - You must declare either "hit", "miss", or "sink (yeecht)" with every catch.
- - If a shiny is caught, it is a "bomb"; a "bomb" is a 3x3 missile, with the center square being the caught shiny.
- - The static shiny, odd egg shiny, and bred/gifted/event/evolution shinies do not count towards this.
- - Color code: white = nothing, blue = ship, black = miss, red = hit, purple = sunk, green = impossible to be a hit.
- > If there is a darker red, it's probably one of us marking an ultra troll for reference
- - Save scumming the Master Ball is NOT allowed; soft exception for accidental resets.
- - Information cannot be witheld (I.E. if it's a hit/sink, you must declare it ASAP).
- - As of Episode 14, only up to 5 ultra trolls can be selected. Ultra trolls are single stage Pokemon, such as Moltres and Snorlax.
- You'll hear throughout probably every episode of this series me shitting on people for calling it Battleship. This is a meme within chat; if that annoys you, don't watch.
