°background: born in gwangju into a caring family, hyewon lived a happy childhood. her household was warm and full of love, and although it may not have been the most extravagant, she loved it all the same. although there was a three year age difference between her and her brother, she grew up very close to him, and never really wanted for more. when she was thirteen, the family moved to seoul in order to let her brother pursue his dreams of being an idol. inspired by him, she too auditioned two years after he had, and made it in much to her family's joy.

°personality: the most obvious thing to note about hyewon is how lazy she is. anything involving moving, and you can consider her out; physical activity is the bane of her existence, and she's probably the worst dancer in the whole group because of how much she despises exercise. she's the type of person who prefers to sit back and let others follow her commands rather than carry things out herself, and completely opposes the saying "if you want something done right, do it yourself" because it implies that she actually has to do something. because of how against physical activity she is, one would assume that she just lays on the couch and rots away, not having any real skills because she doesn't apply herself that much -- and while she might be extremely undedicated when it comes to most things, she's actually extremely smart, as well as passionate when it comes to music. her most effective and lethal weapon is her sarcasm and wit, which can usually send almost anyone running in the other direction out of fear. she's sometimes seen as manipulative, controlling, and even sadistic because of her love to torture her members (who like to call her satan jokingly because of how evil she can act.) its all fun and games, but she is definitely an expert in roasting people. she says the most smart alecky things with a blank face, which only supports how intimidating her snarky quips can be. she's that one person who ignores everyone unless there's an opportunity to roast their pants off, which she takes full advantage of. hyewon has a bit of a dismal and negative outlook on the world, and is usually described as a pessimist (although she would like to adamantly say that no, its actually called being a realist.) she's also extremely blunt and says things how they are, not really regarding how it would reflect on herself or others, nor how people might feel because of her words. hyewon also has a problem with being undermined -- she always feels superior, and anything that makes her feel like less than she is, she hates. because of this, she can be a bit hard to warm up to at first, but once you get past her harsh exterior, underneath you find a warm lil fluffball who loves her friends bunches and would never intentionally hurt them, and she's actually extremely easy to fall in love with.
