  1. [Blanque -> Akula] Blanque looked out at the evening sky from the aft of the ship as the Magenta rocked with the waves. The ship creaked and groaned as it rolled over each swell that came it's way. Dark, foreboding clouds floated in the distance. "Looks like a storm will be a comin' our way." One of the crewmen aboard the ship muttered as he past by Blanque. Pulling his frock coat about like a warm mantle, Blanque thought of his hometwown, and how he'd rather be on dry land then taking his chances out at sea. All around Blanque the crew busied itself. They turned rope, stowed sail, shouted and hollered from the high mast, but it was as if Blanque were all alone. “Hold her fast,” the captain bellowed. The tide was pushing them on as if the Magenta were a bobbing cork. “Take in sail.” Blanque stared at the black, churning swell that lapped against the ship. There was something unsettling about it. He couldn't place his finger on it, but the feeling sent a tingle down his spine and made the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end.
  2.
  3. [Akula -> Blanque] Blanque probably wouldn't notice for quite a few long seconds, but after a minute, it would become clear. He'd been staring at a rather large shadow, long, undulating slowly back and forth. Before it slipped underneath the hull of the Magenta, he'd be treated to a glimpse of creamy white skin, cyan scales, and golden fins..
  4.
  5. [Blanque -> Akula] Blanque raised a brow at seeing something pass beneath the ship. It was relatively large whatever it was. Wanting to get a better look he approached the side of the ship and peered into the sea. It was just for an instant, but he caught a glimpse of something golden and sporting scales like a fish...but there was also something that looked like flesh. He couldn't be certain though. "Captain." Blanque raised his voice, "I saw something pass underneath the ship. It was larger than any fish I've ever seen." The captain walked calmly to Blanque's side and gazed into the water. "I don't see anything. Now if you don't mind me and my crew have work to do before this storm hits us. We have no time for your sightseein' and what-not." The captain scoffed before going on his way and barking orders to his crew. Blanque didn't think it was his imagination or a trick of the light. Curiosity getting the better of him, he quickly strolled to the other side of the ship, cane in hand, to see if he could perhaps get a better sighting of the creature.
  6.
  7. [Akula -> Blanque] The creature could indeed be seen on that side of the ship. A closer look revealed it to be a long, slender mer, Cyan hair trailing behind him, his golden fins glittering through it. As it swam parallel to the vessel, it sort of..turned onto its side to look up as Blanque. He had a beautiful, youthful face, freckled with scales as blue as the sky~ His eyes were a similar shade of blue, and almost seemed to glow. Blanque could see the mer's musculature ripple and flex as he swam along~
  8.
  9. [Blanque -> Akula] Blanque gasped, his eyes going wide with awe at seeing the mer-creature floating alongside the Magenta. He turned his head to look around and see if anyone else was witnessing this phenomenal moment, but alas everyone was too focused on their work to notice. Blanque had half a mind to call out and summon a few people to the edge of the boat, but feared the merman might vanish again and then he'd really get an earful from the captain. Curiosity taking hold of Blanque's mind once more, he adjusted his monocle and spoke to the mer-creature. "Hello there. Can you speak? Can you even understand me?" He asked. "You certainly are devilishly handsome. Though from al the folktales and lore I suppose it's standard for merfolk, such as yourself, to be gifted in appearances."
  10.
  11. [Akula -> Blanque] The creature smiled softly at the man's words, slowly adjusting himself to break the surface of the water, so that he himself could speak. His voice was as feathery and soft as his appearance. "You have a kind way with words.. I cannot speak for others.. But I appreciate what you say~" One of the golden fins on the side of the mer's head twitched lightly as it adjusted to the air, a few small droplets flicking off of its edge.
  12.
  13. [Blanque -> Akula] A broad smile crept along Blanque's face upon discovering that not only could the creature speak, but it even knew his language. "Fascinating." Blanque muttered under his breath. "Well I appreciate you taking the time to speak with me. My name is Professor M. Blanque, but you may call me Professor if you'd like...or even Mr. Blanque. Whichever you prefer." Blanque took off his hat and bowed before the merman as he spoke. Lifting his head he asked, "And whom may I have the pleasure of speaking to?" He smiled.
  14.
  15. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula's eyes almost seemed to glitter as he looked up at the professor. "I am Akula.. ..It's nice to meet you.. I haven't spoken with anyone in quite a long time.. I get lonesome, you see.."
  16.
  17. [Blanque -> Akula] Blanque put his hat back on his head. "Pleasure to meet you Akula." He replied before looking at Akula with a somewhat troubled expression. "Lonesome, you say?" Blanque rubbed his chin. "Aren't there other merfolk like yourself around that you can swim with?" He asked. He could have sworn that merfolk traveled in groups much like dolphins did, but then again all the information he had on them as a species were from folklore. It was hard to say if any of it was based on fact. In fact it might be best not to rely on the stories at all. He was a scholar afterall, and it would be detrimental to pour any preconceived notions about merfolk onto a live one that stood right in front of him.
  18.
  19. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula gave a soft smile as he explained his situation. "Well, of course.. But, you see, it works a bit differently.. Some types travel in groups.. I'm one of the types that don't. Most groups scatter and flee when they see me coming.. I suppose it's for a good reason.. I normally only go searching for schools when I'm hungry.. "
  20.
  21. [Blanque -> Akula] Being a detective, Blanque was rather perceptive and intelligent, so he could piece together things relatively easy. "I see. So your kin avoid you because you've been known to eat them. I would certainly say that classifies as a good reason." Blanque replied. "So what brings you by this ship. It's not exactly safe for your kind to be around humans. Some have been known to...well...try to capture them." He said solemnly.
  22.
  23. [Akula -> Blanque] "You seem nice enough.." The mer responded, looking him over with those blue eyes once again. "I doubt everyone on your vessel is the same as you, but I likewise doubt they would give me the trouble of an attempted capture. ..I don't see any trawling nets~" Another feathery chuckle~
  24.
  25. [Blanque -> Akula] Blanque chuckled a bit. "You have a keen eye. You are right, there aren't any nets here. This is simply a voyage vessel. It's only meant to carry passengers such as myself and a limited amount of cargo." Blanque said in a matter-of-fact way. "Still I wouldn't put it past humans to try and--" "Mermaid!!" came the shrill shout of one of the crewmen on board. Blanque quickly turned around, just in time to see a rather burly man come barreling towards the side of the boat. He nudged past Blanque and pointed at Akula with wide eyes and open jaws. "It is! It really is a mermaid! Come quick! Come quick!" He said and ushered over some more of his fellow crew. In just a short amount of time the entire starboard side of the ship was lined up with fellow crewmen and some other passengers. Some were snapping pictures while others merely gazed in shock. "What do you think she tastes like?" One of the crewmen said with a smirk crossing his lips. "Who cares! I'm gonna get me a kiss first!" A fellow male passenger said who was rather lithe in appearance. He began taking off his shirt in haste. Blanque groaned as he got up from the floor. "As humorous as it would be to see you flopping around in the water to try and steal some affection. That creature you see there is not--" *SPLASH* "...female." Blanque let out a sigh. The poor bloke had already dived in before he could finish his sentence.
  26.
  27. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula could only look wide-eyed at the crowd suddenly gathering on the railing, as he was taken aback by the sudden on-rush of attention. He blinked several times at the one that dove into the water beside him. Not wanting to disappoint entirely, he draped a slender arm around that passenger, and began to tow them along. "Rather forward..aren't you~?"
  28.
  29. [Blanque -> Akula] Blanque ran a hand down his face. He couldn't believe how quickly things had escalated. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed the captain quickly approaching. "Why are you lot lollygagging about!? There's a ship that still needs to be sailed! And I--is that a mermaid..." The rage and tension in his face quickly melted away and was replaced with disbelief and a hint of happiness. Blanque shook his head. Akula was certainly becoming the highlight of this trip, that was for sure. Meanwhile the young man in the water was blushing profusely as Akula wraped an arm around him. He hadn't even noticed yet that Akula sported no breasts, or perhaps the ocean was too murky to see that far past Akula's neck. Regardless the man gently grabbed hold of Akula by the waist and pulled himself closer. "Hey there gorgeous." He said trying to sound as sultry as possible, but it was obvious he wasn't used to talking in such a way. "I'm always forward when I see what i want. And baby, there's nothing in this world I want more than you." Blanque had to hold back from losing his lunch. The young man closed his eyes and puckered his lips while leaning in towards Akula.
  30.
  31. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula blinked several times at the one that saw him as the object of their affection. Seeing it as some form of opportunity, the mer gave a soft, mischievous smirk, both him and the passenger suddenly vanishing beneath the water. He'd get his wish, Akula's lips pressing firmly against his for a moment underwater, out of the sight of everyone else. And then, those lips would part, that fellow's world suddenly becoming very slick, plushy, confined, and dark. He reappeared a few minutes later, returning to be further observed by those upon the deck of the ship. There was a slight increase in thickness to the mer's long, cyan-colored tail, the one who'd dived in no longer anywhere to be seen. He swam on his back, looking up at them, a soft smile on his face. He even went so far as to wink~
  32.
  33. [Blanque -> Akula] Blanque's eyes slowly grew wide once Akula breached back up to the surface with no sight of the man nearby. He was only gone for an instant. A telltale bulge in Akula's tail told Blanque all he needed to know. He stood there frozen stiff. While it was easy for him to deduce what had occurred he wondered how the others on board would react to this. "Where did he go?" "I don't know. He was here a minute ago." "Do you think he drowned?" The ship was alive with quiet murmurings and whispers as all looked upon the sea and Akula with wonder. Someone suggested that he might be playing a prank, the others began nodding their heads in agreement. "Heh, yeah that's just like 'em. He would try to scare us like that. He even got the mermaid to play long with him." Someone in the crowd said. "Once again," Blanque interjected clearing his throat. "That's not a lady. It's a merMAN" At this the crowd went deathly silent. They gazed at Akula with looks of apprehension and uncertainty. "By jove he's right! He ain't got any tits see!" cried out one of the men. As if on cue the entire vessel lit up in a cacophony of groans and grumbles. Some even cursing at themselves for lusting after Akula. "But wait! Where is Joe still? He should have come up for air by now." Someone said. Blanque looked over at Akula and wondered how best to go about this situation. Either way there would certainly be chaos. "Should I keep a secret or would you rather tell them?" He asked. "Keep what a secret?"
  34.
  35. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula snickered childishly at their words and expressions, chuckling softly at the Professor. "Oh, don't worry about him.. I whisked him off to a nautical paradise.. He'll never want again~" His scales glimmered and his fins glowed as he swayed back and forth through the water. He blew some air with his lips, lifting a wet strand of Cyan hair out of the way~
  36.
  37. [Blanque -> Akula] "A nautical paradise?" The captain repeated questionably. Blanque shook his head. Akula had just eaten someone and no one seemed to be the wiser. "Are there mermaids there? Female ones!" Someone blurted out. "I want to go there too!" Came a crewmember. "No! No! No! None of you are leaving this ship. I'm not heading into port to tell your families you were whisked away by a mermaid." Blanque cleared his throat. "Merman. To see some nautical kingdom. They'd throw me in the brig, that's what they'd do." The captain declared. And then ushered everyone away from the side of the boat. Blanque, however, was allowed to stay. "Hmph. Seems you got off easy." Blanque said as he looked at Aluka with a smile on his face. "I still have half a mind to tell the others what you did, but I want the tranquility to last. Especially with this storm fast approaching. So...how did he taste?" Blanque asked while gazing at some squirming bulges in Aluka's tail.
  38.
  39. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula glanced the corner of his mouth with his tongue slightly, speaking in his light and airy voice which contrasted quite sharply with the fact that he'd just swallowed someone up~ "Better than his words, Professor~" He replied as he ran a hand down the side of his slender body, coming to rest on the side of his tail~
  40. 2014-11-09 17:45:44 [Blanque -> Akula] Hearing Aluka speak in such a manner after gobbling someone sent a shiver down his spine. There was just something very unnerving about doing something horrid while still donning a look of innocence. "Well, I'm glad you had a nice meal. But pray tell....why did you eat him? Surely there are plenty of fish in the sea." Blanque asked. Aluka mesmorized him in so many ways, sparking his curiosity. Being an intellectual he wanted to know and learn all he could from the world around him. And now, right before him, was an opportunity to indulge in that. "My apologies in advance if I seem to forward. If you don't want to answer me you don't have to."
  41.
  42. [Akula -> Blanque] "Well," he began softly, "of course lesser fish are a dietary staple. Every so often, though, I like to indulge. Your kind taste different, obviously. Add to that the fact that I can have meaningful talks with them when I want to, and the fact that you folk are much, much larger.. And one can probably see why I enjoy it~" He didn't mean to come off as abhorrent. He really was quite sweet~ It was simply the nature of him, this also being why he could speak with such ease on the subject. For him, it was commonplace~
  43.
  44. [Blanque -> Akula] Blanque leaned his arms on the railing and laid his head down to get comfortable while he listened to Akula. "Hmmm so what you're saying is that humans are a savory treat. Something to be enjoyed every once in awhile. Like if a dog were to be rewarded a juicy steak after a hard day's work." Blanque sid. Thogh he found it kind of funny that he was speaking in such a manner when the content regarded his own species. Usually people would be quite appalled and even reluctant to speak to someone that had just dined on one of their own, but Blanque wasn't on who was biased. "You enjoy it because of how big and squirmy the meals are, yes?" Blanque said with a smile
  45.
  46. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula rested a hand on his thickened tail as it gently undulated back and forth. He blushed slightly at the doctors words, but likewise gave a mischievous smile, and a slight nod. "Again, you have a nice way with words.."
  47.
  48. [Blanque -> Akula] Blanque blushed as well. "And you my dear friend, have a way with compliments." He said. Suddenly the wind picked up and waves began to swell as the sky darkened. "Seems we'll have to cut our little chat short." Blanque commented as he gazed up at the storm clouds looming overhead. He could already hear the captain barking orders loudly behind him while some of the other passengers went below deck for shelter. "I should probably take my leave as well. Behave yourself while I'm gone, alright? We wouldn't want to have any. . . accidents, right?" He smiled before leaving the railing and descending down some steps until he was in the hull of the ship. The ship itself wasn't very large, it was more of a schooner than anything else. A storm like this could tear it asunder if the captain and crew weren't prepared enough for it.
  49.
  50. [Akula -> Blanque] "Farewell Professor," he said almost sullenly. "I shall perhaps see you again later, I think.. Keep safe~" A small wave and the mer vanished beneath the wave with a glitter of cyan scales and golden fins. He watched the vessel from a distance below, observing it as it began to rise and fall atop the rapidly growing waves~
  51.
  52. [Blanque -> Akula] The lanterns on the port and starboard side of the ship bobbed up and down as the ship dipped and peaked in the waves as the gradually grew rougher. The sea whipped higher and higher. Waves washed back and forth. Thick black clouds grew ever darker and lightning exploded into the swell. As if flood gates were suddenly opened, a torrent of rain came heralding down upon the poor vessel, soaking everything in sight in a matter of seconds. The sky grew darker and darker and the sun was blotted out by thick black clouds as streaks of lightning flashed from the sky to sea, exploding in the water. A peal of lightning hit the ship. The mainsail cracked, then crashed to the deck, sending startled crewmen scrambling around in chaos shouting into the wind that stole their screams away. Down below, Blanque was rocked back and forth roughly in his hammock. He could hear the chaos upstairs and knew in his gut that things weren't not going well.
  53.
  54. [Akula -> Blanque] If the professor listened closely, below the bottom of the ship's hull, he might hear the sound of a rapidly-moving current, the rhythmic warble indicative of the powerful mer swimming directly beneath the vessel. Akula watched intently as the ship was assaulted by the sky and sea in tandem. It was a beautiful sight, for him. He found it awe-inspiring.
  55.
  56. [Blanque -> Akula] Unfortuntely things were much too loud above the water's surface to hear anything below it. Cracks of lightning, rolls of thunder, the heavy churns of the waves crashing against the boat, and not to mention the panicked screams of all the crew and passengers on board. It was nothing but chaos. Fearing for the worst, Blanque made his way upstairs onto the deck where he had more freedom of movement. It offered a sense of security to have your options open, even if the security right now was fleeting at best. Some crew members were busy throwing furnishings overboard to lighten the ship while others were hoisting the riggings of the sail. The captain was hard at work too trying his hardest to make sure everyone stayed safe and followed orders. He even helped out with lifting and pulling things where they needed to go, but only for a shirt while before turning back to the wheel. Blanque witnessed one couple jump into the sea together, hand-in-hand. Blanque shut his eyes and looked the other way for it was too painful to watch. "Tie on. Tie on. We'll run for the beach. It's the only chance we have." The captain said as he spun the ship's wheel and the brig lurched towards the shore. The first mate struggled through the waves breaking on the deck. He grappled with the broken rigging, pulled himself along the deck to the rear hatch and pushed it open. There were some passengers huddled inside. "Take the empty barrels and tie yourself on, we're going down." He could just be heard over the roaring of the sea and the screaming of the passengers. As he spoke, a wave hit the stern of the ship, throwing the first mate crashing down into the hold. "You all right down there?" the captain yelled into the hold. Then he turned to see a large wave looming above him. The sea was rising like a large mountain, higher and higher, coming closer and closer.
  57.
  58. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula witnessed two people hit the water and sink below the surface, hand-in-hand. He moved into action, darting up towards the two of them from below. He reached between the both of them, adding his hand to theirs. He smiled at the both of them as he pulled their hands close to his face, and slipped them into his mouth. Several moments later found the mer with a significantly expanded tail, and a very happy expression. Their shared fate was much better than the alternative~ He looked up again in time to watch as a massive wave began to descend upon the vessel. He darted out of the way, out of the path of any sinking debris.
  59.
  60. [Blanque -> Akula] The biggest wave the captain had ever sen lifted the ship from the stern and tipped it over, end upon end, ripping out its very heart and spinning it through the spray. It crashed the ship to pieces with its mighty force, splintering it like matchwood. The vessel cracked in two as the keel snapped. The sound of the breaking beam cut above the noise of the waves. Blanque and five others had made it onboard a life raft before the worse could happen, The six of them stared into the distance as the Magenta lay broken on the waves. The masts had snapped off. The sails and the rigging were torn from them, hanging like a gallows in the frothy waters. The ship was broken open, exposing every deck to the torture of the sea. The captain floated facedown in the water, gently buffeted by the waves. Some of the crew splashed around, grasping onto debris that bobbed in the water. Blanque slowly stood up in the raft took off his top hat and placed it over his heart. "I bid thee all adieu. May your travels into the next life be a pleasant one." He muttered solemnly.
  61.
  62. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula watched in awe as the ship was destroyed, its many broken parts drifting away from each other on the waves. He'd swim into the field of debris, looking for any human bodies that weren't limp and lifeless. He happened across one struggling to free himself from a rope that was dragging him downward. The mer appeared before him and removed his binds, only to give him a soft smile, and open his mouth. Gllp~ His tail now a hair thicker, he continued to swim about the remains of the sinking vessel, searching for others in similar situations that he could.."save". He was feeling quite peckish that evening, as fate would have it, it having been quite some time since he'd last eaten. He was certain he'd have room in his tail, and in his fore-stomach for as many as he could find. Though, he reckoned that after he was done, he'd end up being able to swim much, much slower~ (Oh, my~ = w= )
  63.
  64. [Blanque -> Akula] The storm faded into the night, the dark clouds parted and the moon illuminated the damaged vessel as well as the six survivors who were now drifting aimlessly at sea. Blaanque loked at them all. Two men and two women, all of whom had disheveled faces and looks of despair. "Now what are we suppose to do?" muttered one man as he sat with his head cradled inbetween his hands. "This is my first time out at sea and this happens! I always have to worst of luck." "Then why'd ya have ta bring it here, huh!?" The other man said before shoving him. The woman he was with tried to hold him him back. "Dear! Dear please! There's no need to be violent." She said. "I'm..I'm sorry. I'm just upset is all." He replied to her before calming down. "We can try to make it to shore." Blanque spoke up, "That's what we'll do. It's a long shot, but it's the only chance we have." The others looked to him and nodded. "But how are we going to get to shore without any directions on where it is or even oars for that matter?" The lady asked. "I saw where the captain was trying to head to. As long as we go south by south west, we'll make it to shore. As for oars. Someone is going to have to get out and push. We'll take turns." Blanque stated. Everyone groaned at this, but since no one had a better idea there was no point arguing. The tallest among them swung his legs over the side and jumped in. "My name's Bill. Nice to meet you all. The one who was trying to keep my temper in check is my wife Rachel." The others introduced themselves as well. There was Cole, Samantha, and lastly Blanque who introduced himself as a professor. Bill placed his hands on the back of the life raft and began kicking his legs while Blanque directed him in which direction to push.
  65.
  66. [Blanque -> Akula] Tom shivered on a floating plank of wood with his arms clutching his knees to his chest. There was something lurking in the water. He had seen it. It was the merman from before, but never would he have guessed that it would eat people. He could still clearly see the image of a hand calling out for help between the mer's lips before it was unceremoniously slurped inside. Tom shook his head trying to read himself of the thought once more. Next to him was his childhood friend Laura. She was equally as frightened, but not of the merman, no she had never witnessed it, not even when it showed itself earlier that day. She was more worried about dying at sea. "Thomas will they send another boat out to save us?" She asked. Tom put a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sure they will. We just have to be patient." Suddenly someone's head burst forth from the sea, gasping for air. "Uhhhk! You've gotta help me! It's coming for me!" She said as she splashed about frantically. Her blonde hair was draped over her face and her emerald eyes were wide with horror.
  67.
  68. [Akula -> Blanque] There was a glimmer of light blue and gold from below as Akula ascended beneath her. His body was looking much thicker than it had when He'd appeared before the boat's railing a few hours before. With a loud splash, the mer breached the surface, Tom and Laura being treated to the image of that slender, youthful-looking merman, a glistening round bulge in his thin, muscular tummy on its way down to thicken his tail even further, the blonde woman's arm remaining outside of his lips. Akula flopped back down into the water, as he slurped that arm in and make her disappear with an audible "Glllk~!" Followed by a very happy-sounding sigh. That merman would then turn his glimmering blue eyes on to Tom and Laura. He licked his lips over once. "Oh..hello.. You're next, I suppose, so long as you're there.. It saves me the trouble of circling the vessel in search of anyone else~" He gave them a disarming smile as he gently floated over, his golden fins propelling his bloated body along~
  69.
  70. [Blanque -> Akula] Tom and Laura both gasped in surprise at the sudden appearance of the woman before them, but they screamed when Akula suddenly surged out from underneath of her and gulped the lady down in one swift motion! They could clearly see all the bulges and shapes the woman made in that taut belly of his and worse still was that there seemed to be more squirming forms in that tail of his. "Oh my word! What the hell!?" Laura shouted before placing both her hands on Tom's shoulders and huddling behind him for protection. "No! Don't eat us!" Tom exclaimed as he scooted back on the small piece of driftwood they were both sitting on. "Laura swim away! I'll take care of him while you escape!" "No! I don't want to leave you!" She said. Inside Akula's stomach the woman was squelched and squeezed further down until she was met with the writhing forms of other survivors. It was unbearably hot inside the merman. The constant gurgles and churns of stomach juices hard at work, echoed in her ears. Muffled cries of protest could barely be heard as the stomach roared to life with the presence of another morsel to work on.
  71.
  72. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula ran a hand down his side as he felt the lady he'd gulped make the trip down into her tail. "Oh, nn.. That wouldn't be a wise decision.. I'll still get you.. You'll just be out of breath when it happens.." He probably sounded very threatening, but he said it with such a soft, innocent tone. He really was only trying to make it easier on them. He meant well. But, he had an empty space to fill, and it wasn't quite full yet, his hungry tail swaying slowly from side to side~
  73.
  74. [Blanque -> Akula] Not waiting for his friend to comply with his demands, Tom pushed her into the open waters behind him. "GO!" He shouted. Reluctantly she began to swim towards some barrels the floated nearby. She could certainly use those as floating devices to swim away with. Meanwhile Tom took hold of a stick, it was charred on one end, most likely do to the lightning strike. "Get away from me. I'm warning you!" Tom said and swung the stick in front of him a few times like a bat to get his message across. "You might have been able to eat her, but I won't go down so easily." he pointed at his chest with a thumb. Despite the brave words he spoke, his legs were trembling like jelly. He eyed that plump tail Akula sported and feared what it would be like to join the woman trapped inside. It was certainly unpleasant. The stomach juices sloshed all over her body as she tried to escape the fleshy prison she was in. An unidentified number of limbs flailed wildly around her, pushing, shoving, and bumping up against the soft stomach lining that massaged into them. Grinding acids into their slowly softening bodies. Guuurgle. Gllourp. Grrwwuuern came the sounds of Akula's belly as he noisily digested his meal. Tom could clearly hear the groaning stomach as well and it sent shivers down his spine. That innocent and sweet voice the merman had was certainly not helping matters. it was rather soothing and majestic. He almost found it hard to believe such a creature would eat someone, but he had witnessed it with his own two eyes.
  75.
  76. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula had eaten quite a number of people from the ship already, much more than just one someone~ He gave Tom a soft smile, his eyes glimmering as they always did, but looking at the same time almost..bored. Like he was perfectly aware of how it was going to end, and he'd much rather skip to it. So he did~ With a mischievous flick of his wrist, the mer flicked the piece of wood clean out of Tom's hands. As Laura swam for the barrels, she would hear a very distinct "Glllk~" from behind her~
  77.
  78. [Blanque -> Akula] "Thomassss!" Laura wailed once she heard that loud gulp. She didn't need to look back in order to know what happened. Fresh salty tears streamed down her cheeks as she swam towards the barrel, but she moved much more sluggishly and haphazardly than she was before. She was emotionally devastated and distraught. All she wanted to do now was curl up into a ball and weep. "...Thomas....." she sniffled. She made it to the barrel, but had no will power or energy to kick herself away from the wreckage. No. Instead she just floated there with her head buried in her arms. Sobbing softly. "You promised we would always be together...." she muttered.
  79.
  80. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula drifted slowly up beside her. "I'll take you to him, then~" He chimed. "No need to cry.." He gently wrapped his lips around the woman's feet, slowly sucking her deeper and deeper into his mouth, wrapping his tongue around her body to pull her in with greater ease, until she, too, disappeared. "Glllp~" With the addition of the three he'd swallowed in the past couple of minutes, he sensed that his tail was finally packed full. But... He still had some space left. He ran a slender hand down his smooth, trim, humanoid stomach before slowly circling around the wreck again, searching for more food to carry off with him~ "Hnn, hn-hn, hnnn~"
  81.
  82. [Blanque -> Akula] With tears staining her eyes, Laura turned swiftly to see the merman just as his maw engulfed her feet. This creature had just eaten two people whole, how in the world could it still be hungry for more!? Now was not the time to dwell on such thoughts, however, she began squirming her legs around to try and dislodge herself from the merman, but his throat gripped her like a glove. The warm, pulsating heat of his insides were welcoming next to the aching cold of the water, but Laura's mind barely picked up on it. In mere moments her entire body was swallowed up in the suffocating depths of the merman. As she descened down the sweltering heat became more intense. Suddenly she felt movement beneath her. "Thomas? Thomas is that you?" She cried out. Through muffled groans she heard her boyfriends voice. Seconds later she was reunited with him in the writhing mass of bodies. There was hardly any room to move a muscle inside the tail gut of Akula. Meanwhile at the shipwreck more survivors were struggling to keep themselves adrift on the sea. A rather plump chef was in the crow's nest that was slowly drifting lower and lower. "Oh why oh why? Did this have to happen today?" she moaned. "My first day of work here and BAM! A shipwreck." A few feet away from her was another individual. "Heh, imagine how I feel. I'm a stowaway." He said.
  83.
  84. [Akula -> Blanque] At the end of that stowaway's sentence, there was a rather loud splash, and no further words would come from him. Looking down over the edge of the crow's nest would reveal that glimmering cyan--and pleasantly rather heavily large--mer, a set of legs slowly slipping in between his slender lips as his heavy, expanded tail swayed slowly in the water, just below the surface. He seemed wistful, and at least a little bit pleased with himself~
  85.
  86. [Blanque -> Akula] The sudden eerie silence made the chef extremely nervous. Looking back over to where the stowaway was she found nothing instead. Was her eyes playing tricks on her? Suddenly something shimmered beneath the surface. A flicker of cyan and a form, at least twice as big as any human she's seen. "There's something in the water...." she muttered. There was a ripple, and then she saw the form again, this time with a pair of legs in its mouth! "THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE WATER! AAAAHH!" She shrieked. This alerted everyone else in the area. Soon a loud cacophony of splashes filled the air as some swam like their lives depended on it to some driftwood. Others began swimming as far and as fast as they could away from the shipwreck as possible. "Swim for your lives! It's a shark!" Someone cried out. "Swim!? I say we kill the beasts!" Said another
  87.
  88. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula swallowed briskly, sending that stowaway to rest within the confines of his slim humanoid forebelly. Though, with that stowaway tucked inside of it, it would become slightly less..slim. He'd take note of those swimming out into open waters, and drifted after them first. Even with his form laden as it was with the ship's passengers, he still found no real difficulty tucking more passengers away, just as well as swimming faster than they could. He swung around and came to a stop in front of them, preventing them from swimming out any farther. "Not a really good idea.. All the life vessels are either gone, or they went down with the ship.. You're much better off with me, and the rest. You wouldn't want to starve to death at sea, would you~?" There was the slightest touch of amusement in his voice at that last bit, seeing as he himself definitely wouldn't be starving at sea~
  89.
  90. [Blanque -> Akula] Sailors and crewmen sputtered and flailed each time Akula made a pass to block them. Like a sheep dog herding sheep, he rounded them up so they wouldn't go beyond the shipwreck. Like a nice little pack of sardines they were trapped. "Ta hell with ya! I'd rather starve than be eaten!" replied one the young man Akula was speaking to. "A-actually...um...if it's gentle....I-I wouldn't mind." said a rather petite woman with a lithe frame. Her willowy, soaking wet, brown hair cascaded around her head like a waterfall. "Are you daft!? Ya bloody tart. A think a few screws are loose in ya head!" Meanwhile at the crow's nest, several other survivor's piled in along with the plump chef. Which only served to make it sink faster. Now just a few feet above the water's surface.
  91.
  92. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula smiled softly at that woman. "Of course it'll be gentle," he said, using a finger to slide a strand of his long blue hair back over one of his ears before drifting a bit closer. "Just relax, okay~? Better for the both of us that way." He'd slowly open up and slip his mouth down over that thin woman's frame, tilting his head back and swallowing a couple of times before closing his lips behind her feet and making her disappear. She was rather thin, so his midsection didn't thicken very much as she slid in next to the stowaway.
  93.
  94. [Blanque -> Akula] "You MONSTER!" shouted the main from earlier. There was a clear indication of rage in his voice, but there was fear in his eyes. He had the unfortunate vantage point of seeing the entire spectacle take place right before his eyes. The woman didn't even struggle as she was lazily gulped down like a hotdog. Out of instinct the man lashed out at Akula, going into his fight or flight response. He wrapped his arms around Akula's midsection and tried to squeeze the woman back out of him. Meanwhile the casual observers on the crow's nest watched on with intrigue before cheering the man on.
  95.
  96. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula reacted in an almost strangely motherly fashion. He was entirely unaffected by that sailor's ministrations, the large sea-creature gently wrapping his arms about the fighting human and hugging him close against the front of his stomach. He slowly stroked his fingers through his hair, like a parent trying to console an upset child. "You know this struggle is only going to make you ache.. So, why do you not simply calm down, and let me do the rest? It isn't awful, I promise.." He slowly lowered his face to the top of the man's head, parting his lips to let his head slip in between them~
  97.
  98. [Blanque -> Akula] The man realized he made a huge mistake. After several attempts he came to the conclusion that not only was he unable to make the merman release the woman, but he wasn't causing any kind of discomfort either, He stopped squeezing Akula momentarily and looked up at him as he caressed him. "St-stop talking. I-I-I don't want to hear your lies." the man breathed out. As he was exhausted from his efforts while trying to stay adrift as well. "No..no no! don't eat me! Please! I was just desperate that's al--mmmphhh!" His voice was suddenly cut off as Akula's lips sunk down over his eyes, nose, and finally mouth. Instantly the cheering in the background ended. They looked on with mixed emotions stirring in their hearts as their hero struggled vainly in the sea.
  99.
  100. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula gently worked his mouth over that sailor, swallowing him up in similar fashion to everyone else who'd been on the menu that day. Eventually, he'd tilt his head back, a final gulp sending that sailor as a bulge down his throat and into his tummy to join the others, his humanoid stomach now becoming noticeably less flat and more..rounded. Not nearly as much as his tail was currently. But as he cast a sleepy smile on those back huddled around the crow's nest, some of them would probably realize that that was bound to change very soon~
  101.
  102. [Blanque -> Akula] There were five of them altogether, with the chef taking up most of the room due to her large frame. They looked on with wide eyes as the bulge of the man descended down the merman's throat before disappearing past the chest, and eventually out of sight completely. The only indication he existed at all was the minor bulges that poked out periodically upon the merman's belly. Whether this man was brave or foolish was now hard to say. As Akula looked over at them, a twinge of fear and a cold chill ran down their spines. "He...he can't still be hungry can he? Th-there must be at least twenty people inside of him!" The chef said. Another girl trembled beside her "We're...we're sitting ducks up here! I mean let's face it we'll either drown or get...get...get eaten!" She suddenly burst into tears and buried her face into the warm flesh of the chef's shoulder. "There's gotta be a way otta this. There just has to." muttered one man with a bandana on his head. "Maybe we can reason with him. He speaks our language at least." Another man, with an eyepatch, looked at him and said sarcastically. "That's a greeeaaat idea. I have an idea. You talk to him!" And without warning the eye-patch guy pushed the man with the bandana out of the crow's nest and into the water. "What did you do that for!" shouted a woman with fair blonde hair and a well endowed chest. "Oh!, my apologies madam. I forgot. Women and children first!" He said before pushing her in as well.
  103.
  104. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula drifted over slowly, settling in front of the blonde woman and bandana-wearing man and hovering in place. He looked at them expectantly, tilting his head to one side. He appeared to be waiting for their inevitable attempt at bargaining. He was willing to hear it first, at least, if it made the feel better. "...?"
  105.
  106. [Blanque -> Akula] The man cleared his throat and prepared himself. He wasn't quite sure what to say at first. "Um...errr...welll Mister um--" "Please don't eat us! I BEG OF YOU!" The blonde quickly interjected. The man nearly had a heart-attack then and there. Startled by the woman's sudden exasperated plea. "Don't mind her she's just a bit frightened. Actually we all are. You see...there's only five of us left. And you've eaten so much already. So uh...would you mind just leaving us alone? We've got nothing to defend ourselves and it will be days before a rescue ship arrives...hopefully. But there's no danger to you.We couldn't possibly hunt you down NOR do we want to. We just uh...we just really want to be left alone......please?" The bandana man said rather timidly. "I'LL HAVE YOUR BABIES! I'LL MARRY YOU! JUST DON'T EAT ME!" The woman suddenly burst out screaming again. "You can even play with my two girls! All the men enjoy them!" She pushed up her boobs and bobbed them in the water enticingly and rather erotically. "Oh my gosh woman! Please contain yourself. Spare what little dignity we have left! We're groveling in front of a mermaid for goodness' sake! Errr...I'm sorry...merman." He said, correcting himself.
  107.
  108. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula giggled and actually blushed at the scene in front of him. Really, it was like some sort of comedy show. He sighed, sinking down a bit so that only his head remained above the water. He responded primarily to the man with the bandana, seeing as he was the most reasonable of the two. "..For a rescue vessel to come, your poor boat will have to fail to dock on time. Even then, it would be a day before a search was begun.. Then it would take time to get here.. And by then, they aren't going to be looking for living passengers. ..They'll simply write the boat off, dredge up what they can, and then.. well.. ..You see, you're much better off simply coming with me." He smiled softly at the both of them, extending a hand to gently brush back the blonde's silky hair in an attempt to calm her down.
  109.
  110. [Blanque -> Akula] The blonde woman spasmed as soon as Akula touched her. If anyone didn't know better, it almost seemed like he sent an electric shock through her or pressed a hot coal to her scalp. The bandana man instantly grabbed hold of her by the waist and tried to keep her restrained and settle down. He turned to look at the merman as soon as she stopped struggling in his arms too much. "What you say is....true." The man began to say, regretting the answer. "But...but a group of survivors left on a lifeboat earlier. They'll get help. Ye-yeah I'm sure of it. We'll be back home safe and sound eventually." He was desperately clinging onto hope. It was the only thing he had afterall. "I can live with you Mr. Merman. You hunky studmuffin." The woman said, her words somewhat slurred, but still carried a sensual tone. The man quickly slapped her across her cheek, but refrained himself from using too much force. "Get a hold of yourself! Pull it together or would you rather I just fling you to the merman now and be done with it?"
  111.
  112. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula licked his lips at the bandana man's last suggestion, pulling himself up onto the wooden wreckage some, resting on his side. In this pose, they might be able to see just how thick with passengers his tail had become, as well as the rounded dome that had begun to form in his formerly-muscular midriff. "This fellow seems to have lots of good ideas. But, I think mine are better~"
  113.
  114. [Blanque -> Akula] The man turned to face the merman once more as he treaded amongst the waves along with the woman that was pushed off the crow's nest with him. His eyes widened at seeing the merman in his full glory for the first time. The contour shapes of human bodies writhing and pressing against the taut flesh of his tail were a great indicator of what befell not only the other survivors, but also that Akula's appetite was not to be questioned. It seemed he was still willing to feast on more judging by his fore belly that was now beginning to round out, and the gesture of him licking his lips. He was a true glutton. "Your idea is just to have us all eaten." The man said, still putting up some bravado despite the circumstances. The woman beside him was beginning to tremble now. It was hard to say if it was out of fear or by treading in cold waters for so long. Either way she didn't hesitate to climb up onto the broken piece of wood along with Akula and hugged his middle. "I bet it's nice and warm in there..." She said while rubbing the soft dome. "Woman! Get back here! You have no idea what you're doing!"
  115.
  116. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula smiled, rolling over to float upon his back so that the woman could rest upon his rounded tummy. He'd pet her on the head gently, speaking in kind, comforting tones. "It certainly is, I promise~ Much better in there than out here!"
  117.
  118. [Blanque -> Akula] The woman crawled up onto Akula's tummy and laid upon it, her legs and arms draping down the sounds. The man couldn;t believe what he was seeing. "You're insane." He muttered before turning tail and swimming back towards the crow's nest. Meanwhile the woman pressed her ear again Akula's gut. "Ohhhh...I can hear it gurgling and...even some of the voices of the people inside." She whispered. "It's hard to make out what they're saying though. My name is Rachel by the way. Thanks for being so kind to me." She said and smiled at Akula. "Ummm....can I...can I crawl inside you?"
  119.
  120. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula giggled, apparently flattered by the attention he was getting! He ran his hands slowly down his sides, resting them on his hips. "Oh, it's no problem. No need to be menacing, the situation can be scary enough without me being nasty. Mmph~" He rocked his hips a little. "I certainly won't argue. Take your time~" With that, he slowly opened up his mouth, leaving his toothy maw parted open for her to enter at her own leisure~!
  121.
  122. [Blanque -> Akula] Everyone at the crow's nest, four in total, looked on in utter disgust and confusion at the scene taking place before them. "What's going on?" The man with the eye-patch asked the one with the bandana. "The girl is completely crazy, that's what! I'm surprised she made it through life for this long. Though with her distracted I think we stand a chance. Here's what I suggest..." The man lowered his voice and gestured for everyone to huddle up in a circle to better hear him. Meanwhile Rachel giggled at being rocked along with Akula as ahe lay on top of him, but simply marveled at how big his mouth could stretch. Warm air wafted over her face with each breath the merman took. It was certainly well received by the girl after being drenched in cold sea water. "Wow....it's so inviting." She remarked as her eye looked deep into his maw. Droplets of saliva cascaded downwards from the roof of his mouth as his tongue danced idly back and forth between two sets of ivory white teeth. That long dexterous organ of Akula's tongue, the perfect little road that dims darker and darker the further back it goes. Without hesitation, Rachel placed one hand into his mouth and then the other, letting out a soft moan at how soft and warm everything was. She looked into Akula's eyes, awaiting a signal that she could press herself further in before doing so.
  123.
  124. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula chuckled, careful not to let Rachel injure herself on those teeth. They were..rather sharp. His thick tail swayed languidly back and forth as the smaller woman made her way gently onto his tongue, He looked down at her, and winked, his breath smelling faintly salty~
  125.
  126. [Blanque -> Akula] Rachel didn't mind the smell, in fact it was hardly any different from the salty sea air that drifted around her anyways. Seeing that Akula was still perfectly fine with all of this, she pressed herself further in. Her hands slipped easily into his throat, bulging it out somewhat while her arms rested on his tongue. She giggled at feeling Akula's stretchy insides ripple and convulse around her fingers. "I hope you find me tasty enough. Mr...um...merman." She said, having not caught Akula's name. However, she didn't bother to wait for a reply. It would be hard to talk with one's mouth full. She took a deep breath before suddenly thrusting herself in forward, being mindful of his sharp teeth in the process. Instantly she was halfway inside! Only her hips and legs wriggled outside f his mouth, like a floundering fish.
  127.
  128. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula's fins flicked in contentment as Rachel eased her way deeper and deeper in, tail flicking slightly as her hands entered his throat. He chuckled and nodded, indicating she tasted plenty good to him! Though, he'd seem a sight surprised, and even blush, as she suddenly thrust herself down into his gullet~! He seldom encountered food so..eager! He'd cradle his domed tummy, leaning back and ently gulping on Rachel, easing her down deeper and deeper in, until her legs, and finally feet disappeared. With a light "Gullk~<3", the bulge in his tummy grew just a bit bigger~!
  129.
  130. [Blanque -> Akula] Rachel had no qualms or even second thoughts about being eaten. In her mind she saw no hope of being rescued, and it was so dreadfully cold and alone in the world right now. So why not let her last moments be blissful? As she slipped further and further into Akula's gut she couldn't help but close her eyes and smile. It was so warm, and there would be plenty of people in here to greet her. Guuurglee. Glorrruuurp. Bllluup The churns and growls of a well fed stomach echoed into Rachel's ears. "Yes...this is what I want." She thought to herself. Her deliciously slender legs and slim tummy were swallowed down and her head entered into Akula's stomach. Another resounding gulp then sucked in her dainty toes. With one last audible "Gullk" a last bulge, marking her body descended down Akula's throat before emptying out into his belly where the rest of his food rested. Though it might have been hard to hear, Akula might have sworn that a muffled 'thank you' cam from his gut. Suddenly the four survivors sprang out of the water on either side of Akula! "Quick! Pin him down while we have the element of surprise!" Came a shout. The sea was in an uproar of splashes and yells as two men and two women tried to grab hold of the slippery sea creature. One going for his right arm while the other went for his left. A third person went to grab his tail. And lastly a fourth tried to wrap his arms around Akula's neck. "Your reign of terror ends here!" Came the man's voice from earlier. It was equally recognizable. And sure enough if Akula arched his head just right he could see that the man with the bandana was stationed near his head. "His tail is too slippery! Whatever you plan to do just do it! Cut the speech! I can't hold onto him much longer!" came grumbled complaints.
  131.
  132. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula seemed to blush happily as he rubbed at his domed tummy. He may have heard, after all~ He'd yelp slightly upon being accosted, however! He wasn't worried, just surprised, for a moment. He'd tilt his head back and peer curiously at the bandana fellow as one of the other folks tried feebly to hang onto his tail, which was rather slick, and also currently too large with passengers for one to reasonably get their arms around. "Reign of..terror..?"
  133.
  134. [Blanque -> Akula] "That's right!" the man replied haughtily. "We're not your food. We're not you playthings. We're not little creatures for you to look down upon. We have lives! We have--" "Ross! Would you please quit being so dramatic!"Interrupted the eye-patched man. "Just choke him already! I'm not even sure if I'm actually pinning him down over here." The bandana man, whose name was now known as Ross, nodded in agreement before applying pressure around Akula's neck. The fat chef and a young woman of asian decent clung to Akula's arms, trying their best to impair his movement until Ross got the job done. "Go to sleep merman...just let pleasant dreams take you..." Ross whispered int Akula's ears.
  135.
  136. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula didn't seem to be affected by Ross's aggressive strangulation tactics, given that he was much, much, much larger, and Ross's arms didn't even reach all the way round his neck. Akula would stare blankly back at Ross for a minute..before just opening his mouth and licking him slowly across the face. Slrrrp~
  137.
  138. [Blanque -> Akula] Ross instantly let go and retracted back from the sudden lick he was given. "Acck...ughh!!" He seemed rather appalled by the entire thing. Though worse than that was it dawned on him that his plan wouldn't work. Akula was just too large. "Umm..uhh....everyone retreat!" Ross commanded before suddenly diving into the water. "Wait what!? You're giving up? Geeeeez!" The eye-patched fellow followed suit and let go of Akula's tail, not that he was holding onto it much anyways. "Swim back to the crow's nest!" Ross sputtered out as he swam. Behind him followed Aster with the eye-patch, the asian beauty Kiki, and lastly the chef, Joanne.
  139.
  140. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula rolled over on his belly as the four of them tried to flee. He'd reach out and catch Joanne by the leg, with only two fingers. "Hnn, wait just a minute~ I just don't understand why you little folks seem so insistent on freezing to death. Am I really all that much worse of an option~?"
  141.
  142. [Blanque -> Akula] Joanne was pretty much a lost cause once Akula grabbed hold of her, she didn't have the inertia or the strength to fight him off. In fact it took most of her energy just to stay afloat in the water. "Help! Help! He's got me!" She cried out. The other looked back to see the commotion, but none of them made an attempt to circle back around. "Yes! Yes you are!" Ross answered back brusquely. "I don't care what you say! I'm not letting myself get...get...get...URRGH, just thinking about it makes me flustered." Kiki and Aster looked at Ross warily and backed off a bit to give him some space. "You've been nothing but trouble for us since we laid eyes on you." Ross continued. "You're bad luck! That's what I think." Joanne continued to flail around mindlessly during Ross's little tantrum. Kiki cleared her throat before addressing everyone. "Look...maybe we should all just settle down. It's been a rough night and we're a little on edge. Maybe we can work something out if all just calm down." "Calm?" Aster raised a brow. "If you haven't noticed, this monster has been nothing but calm. He thinks he's doing us a service. He sees nothing wrong with his actions or his motives. Isn't that right Mr. Merman?" Aster asked.
  143.
  144. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula didn't answer, as he was too busy eating Joanne. IN the background of their prior conversation, one may have noticed such sounds as, "Aahm, nomf, shlrrp, ulp, gllk~<3" Turning to look at Akula would in turn net the three of them the opportunity to see that smooth, plump dome in Akula's belly bulge out even larger. Blomf~
  145.
  146. [Blanque -> Akula] "How in the world can you STILL be hungry!?" Ross declared. "You've pretty much eaten everyone that was onboard the ship!" Ross felt like he was stuck inside a horrible nightmare he couldn't wake up from, but the biting cold of the ocean served as a frigid reminder that things were very real, and if he didn't get out of these wet clothes and get dry, there was a good chance he might get hypothermia. The merman was right, he acknowledged as much earlier, all of them were better off just being eaten than wasting away out here in the ocean. But it was just so unbearable that he had to pick between two terrible choices, which one was really the best of two evils? "I told you he was a monster." Aster chimed in. Kiki shook her head."I don't believe that. If we just give him a chance I'm sure we can turn our fates around. I'm going to go talk to him." Despite having just witnessed another human getting swallowed up before her very eyes, Kiki made a daring move to swim up to the large merman who easily dwarfed her in size. "Um...I know you may not like us very much after all that we have done to you, but I'd like to apologize for my behavior. It was rude and uncalled for. Maybe um...we can start over? I'm Kiki." She said and extended her hand towards him. Ross' jaw dropped. "What is she doing!? She's going to get herself eaten as well! YOU CAN'T TRUST HIM!" Ross bellowed out so she could hear. Aster remained silent.
  147.
  148. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula rubbed at his domed belly contentedly. Indeed, he had! Though, pretty much was the operative phrase. It meant he still wasn't quite done~! He floated on his back, that belly of his rising like its own little island in the water, a dome of flawless pale skin~ He'd tilt his head to look over at Kiki. "Akula. ..Nice to meet you." He'd pat that plump belly of his. "And, uhh... eat you, as well~" He'd give her a wink!
  149.
  150. [Blanque -> Akula] Kiki blushed a bit despite herself. This was something oddly charming about the merman that she just couldn't put her finger on. "Pleasure to meet you." She replied shyly. "So....you are really going to eat us? Oh sorry. Perhaps that was a dumb question." A load gurgle from Akula's gut reminded her that she wasn't too far from sharing the same fate. Ross and Aster looked on with dumbfounded expressions on their face. "Come on Aster. Let's get a head start at least." Ross said after nudging his friend. The two turned their back to Kiki and began to swim to the scattered debris of the shipwreck. Hoping to use some of the driftwood as a makeshift raft. Meanwhile Kiki continued with her conversation. "I don't suppose there's any way I could convince you not to eat me, huh?" Kiki said in a rather seductive tone before giving her wet hair a twirl. "I could...keep you company on those loooong cold niights~" Kiki's fingers tiptoed across Akula's flesh with every syllable she ushered.
  151.
  152. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula smiled softly as Kiki tried to use her feminine wiles on him, his skin taut and smooth as she walked her fingers across the surface of his midriff, which was swollen out to a size larger than a delivery truck. Still, he'd chuckle, and use a hand to press Kiki close against his form. "That'd be rather impractical, don't you think? Unless, of course..you know how to breathe underwater. Not to mention, I don't find the water as cold as you folks do. And besides, it's much warmer in here~" With that last sentence, he'd give a drawn-out knead to his stomach, the smooth white skin shifting softly under his fingertips~
  153.
  154. [Blanque -> Akula] "Ohh!" Kiki gave a startled cry of surprise as Akula held her close to him like a miniature teddy bear.....or a small snack. Kiki was still trying to find a way to get out of the latter category. The sound of Akula's gut churning and gurgling away all of those crew members certainly wasn't alleviating her fears. His fingers sunk in as if it were a water bed now, so soft and squishy. She could only imagine how cramped and mushy everyone was inside. "I uh...I suppose it is warmer in there, but I also feel warm just being by your side." She said before laying her head against his pliant flesh. She tried to act as cute and sexy as possible, but with her ears so close to the stomach of his and hearing it work--it made it hard for her to keep a straight face. "If I can get scuba gear or something I could live underwater with you. Or you could just keep in your mouth for extended periods of time."
  155.
  156. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula smiles smugly. "I don't see a dive shop with oxygen tanks around here.. And even if there was, what would you eat, hm? I imagine you aren't as partial to raw marlin and crab as I am." He presses her snugly against that gut, the huge dome rumbling thickly. The closer she got, though, the more she'd realize that the sounds of digestion were actually coming..from below. Looking down, she'd see his tail--bloated and swollen out in diameter until it seemed to be half the size of the ship that had just sank! The gurgling drifted up from below, whereas his plump, heavy midriff was more firm, and filled with snugly-packed (and vocally complaining) passengers~
  157.
  158. [Blanque -> Akula] From what Kiki could gather from the sounds emanating from the merman. the actual digestion took place in his, now enormous, tail while his fore-belly acted more like a crop. Just storing food until it was ready to be shoved further along his digestive tract. This gave her an idea. "Well I don't mind eating raw fish. I've had sushi before. And instead of scuba gear...maybe I could just stay in here when you go underwater." She said and poked at Akula's human belly. "I'd be safe and warm in there, and then you can just cough me out later." Kiki smiled to herself for being so smart. It seemed like the perfect plan. To her at least.
  159.
  160. [Akula -> Blanque] "Well, I was going to put you in there anyway~ But..I suppose it does give me time to mull it over. No promises, though." The huge merman licks his lips, lifting Kiki up out of the water and placing her on his chest. He opens his mouth wide for her to climb in~! "Mind the teeth.."
  161.
  162. [Blanque -> Akula] Kiki leaned forward and stared into that mouth as Akula parted his lips, showing off the pink insides of his cute maw. Droplets of saliva cascading downwards from the roof of his mouth as his tongue dances idly back and forth between his two sets of ivory white teeth. That long dexterous organ of his tongue the perfect little road that dims darker and darker the further back it goes. It was like she was in a trance as she stared into that abyss. The rippling walls of his throat seemed to beckon her to crawl inside, to lean in further. Akula's voice, however, broke through to her. "Err...no. You have to promise me you'll let me out first. I won't go in otherwise." She replied once she got her bearings. She still was rather unnerved that she almost willingly went in. What had come over her? "Promise me." She said once more as she sat on his chest. "Good relationships are born on trust."
  163.
  164. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula found himself with quite the moral dilemma. There was, of course, nothing stopping him from simply poking her in the back and sending her toppling down into the abyss. But, he didn't feel like making a commitment then, and then have to deal with another dilemma of whether or not to break it later. So..he went with the former option, giving Kiki's backside a feather-light flic, but just enough to send her tipping past the teeth and over the gums! His mouth quickly shuts, and Kiki finds herself rolled back and forth on that tongue as though she was a piece of candy! Outside, Akula's looking quite smug indeed, enjoying himself while that massive, gorged tail sways languidly back and forth through the water below~
  165.
  166. [Blanque -> Akula] Kiki waited patiently for the merman to say the words she so desperately wanted to hear. She folded her arms under her chest and looked at him expectantly. "Wellll? I'm waiting." She said in a rather annoyed tone, but just when she thought she was going to have to give him such extra encouragement, Kiki felt a firm push on her back. "Whaa--" She gasped before she tumbled down straight into Akula's waiting maw. The young woman was tossed and turned about in that humid mouth. That tongue making quick work to slather her down and savor the delectable flavors she had. Kiki sputtered and groaned as she was sucked upon and jostled about like a gumball. She couldn't even speak properly as her entire world shook.
  167.
  168. [Akula -> Blanque] Having tasted her thoroughly, Akula tilted his head back and.. "Glurk~!" He placed his hands upon either side of his large, rounded midriff, kneading gently into it as a swell passed down his throat and past his collarbones, that belly bulging out an inch or two farther a moment later. The barracuda sighed pleasantly and licked his lips~
  169.
  170. [Blanque -> Akula] Kiki could only the chomping, munching sounds as Akula enjoyed her. Rounded-tipped teeth lightly scraped along her body while her head slipped easily into the merman's throat. Suddenly things tilted vertically for the woman as Akula prepared to swallow her in one gulp. Kiki's world became a muffled chorus of rumbling gulps all around her, the slick walls sucking around her ears each time they pulled her further and further in. She heard the thumping of Akula's heart, and her hips were sucked easily into that bulging throat which almost comical to see to any onlookers. The thick tongue curled around her legs, sneaking a last taste until it pushed forward. She began to slip head-first into that chamber, hearing it grumble and call for more of her as the pulsating gulps continued to push her forward. The walls churned and rippled, eager to accept her into the loud, glorping sac. Kiki shuddering, knowing that this had been Akula's plan all along. That she was just a meal to be turned into more fat on the merman's tail. *GLUURK* The throat and gullet rippled all around her and the tongue stole one last swipe at her toes before all of her emptied out into thatr crowded pit Akula called a stomach. It was just as crowded as she imagined. Bodies from those that had come before her, pushed and squeezed into her, making it virtually impossible to move much at all in the writhing mass of limbs. Meanwhile two men were swimming further and further away. they could only see the merman's gut from this distance as the fog began to roll in. "Dumb girl..." Ross muttered under his breath as he used a piece of driftwood to stay afloat. Aster remained silent like always.
  171.
  172. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula had to take a moment to admire himself. He peered downward at the tightly-packed globe resting above his hips, fingertips brushing slowly back and forth across the flawless pale surface of his tummy, which was swollen out to the size of a pair of delivery vans~! And then, looking farther, down beneath the surface, was his tail. Huge, like two trains parked side-by-side~ He'd reach a hand down to caress over it, that tail feeling quite plush underneath his hand, the food within becoming quite soft~ And then, he'd look around for a moment. Realizing the last two had one, he slowly scanned the horizon. They can't have one far!
  173.
  174. [Blanque -> Akula] Splashes and pants were the only sounds Ross and Aster heard as they continued to swim. "Do you think we lost him?" Ross asked mid stroke. Aster glanced over his shoulder. With all this fog it was hard to tell. He gave a look of doubt and indifference. Unsure what the case was. "Oh you're no help. But at least you know when to keep your mouth shut, unlike some I could mention." Ross stated sourly. The two made it to a lone panel of driftwood and clambered onto it. Soaking wet and tired they took a moment to recuperate and regain their strength. "There's no way I'm going to let that fish for brains nab me. So if you see him. Let me know." Ross said. Aster nodded in agreement. Ross looked out into the open waters. The horizon stretched on for miles in each direction, but there was no sign of the creature as far as he could tell. "Hmmm normally I'd say let's paddle further on, but I don't want to disturb the water. We need to be as silent as possible. At least until daybreak." Ross said allowed, but with Aster not being the talking type it seemed like he was mostly talking to himself.
  175.
  176. [Akula -> Blanque] They floated on for a long while in silence. Then, there came a disturbance, and the driftwood they were on suddenly shifted, as if something had brushed it while passing under it.Then, it was silence again, broken only occasionally by the sound of what seemed to be something breaking the surface. Then, all of a sudden, Ross might suddenly become aware of the sound of breathing, and a very light slurping sound....
  177.
  178. [Blanque -> Akula] Ross was beginning to nod off a bit as he sat there on the driftwood. Exhausted and spent emotionally, mentally, and physically was beginning to take its toll on him. Especially now that the adrenaline was wearing off. Several time he caught himself actually with his eyes closed. But Aster would always rouse him but gently shaking him by the shoulder. Unlike Ross, Aster didn't seem to be the slightest bit phased by anything that had happened so far. He was so stoic and silent. Like an eagle overwatching a valley. Ross couldn't help but respect the man. He had an eye-patch, but that single eye he possessed looked out at the fog...almost piercingly so. As if he could see beyond what it masked. Though that was just how Ross perceived him. *SPLISH* Suddenly the driftwood bounced a bit upon the waves. Not a normal bounce from the swell of the sea. No this felt like something had come up from beneath. Ross' eyes widened with fear. A chill running down his spine. Could that gluttonous merman actually have found them? As quickly as it had come, it had vanished. Ross' eyes flitted about, hoping to catch a shadow, fin, or some glimpse of the creature.....but there was nothing. He dared not say a word to Aster for fear that the merman was still nearby if it was indeed him. But a strange noise cut through the silence. "Aster! Aster do you hear that? What is that?" Ross asked sounding concerned. "Don't tell me he's slurping up the water? Is he trying to suck us down!?" Aster stared blankly into the water, not saying a word.
  179.
  180. [Blanque -> Akula] Ross' eyes flitted about, hoping to catch a shadow, fin, or some glimpse of the creature.....but there was nothing. He dared not say a word to Aster for fear that the merman was still nearby if it was indeed him. But a strange noise cut through the silence. "Aster did you hear that? What is that?" Ross glanced over his shoulder to look at his comrade, but what he saw made him jump out of his skin "AAAHHH!!!" The large merman had half of Aster's wriggling form inside his mouth. "Nooo! Let him go!" Ross lunged at Aster's legs that were still sticking out and pulled. Hard. Aster was putting up a struggle as well. He could see Akula's cheeks bouncing around as if there was a flopping fish inside.
  181.
  182. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula's looking quite pleased as he sucks lightly upon aster, drawing him deeper and deeper in. He smiles as he lifts himself up, lifting Aster up and causing Ross to hang from his legs as they protruded from his lips. Though, with the slickness of the ocean water, Ross would likely fall back down and land upon the piece of driftwood. As a result of the lifting up out of the water, Akula's tremendous, flawless belly would be directly before Ross, the vast expanse of smooth white skin looming a mere foot or two in front of him, streams of water running down it. He'd tilt his head back and slurp Aster's legs inside his cheeks, then.."GLURK~<3" The bulge of Aster slid down his throat and disappeared as it passed down into his chest. A moment later, Ross would get to see as that huge, perfect belly grew, swelling out farther..until the skin rested against his very own face~! "Ahhh.."
  183.
  184. [Blanque -> Akula] Ross gritted his teeth and groaned as he tried to hang onto his friend. The only remaining person left in his life. "No! No! I won't lose you too! Stay with me! Fi-fight it!" Ross shouted angrily. But with a quick jerk upwards, the two crewmen were raised off the ground. Ross could feel his grip slipping. "Acckk....n-no...it can't end this...way." He tried his best to hang on, but with Aster's constant squirming and how slick and slippery they both were, Ross didn't stand a chance. With a solid thump, Ross fell and landed on his butt upon the driftwood. Before him lay Akula's enormous gut that groaned, gurgled, and churned heavily as it digested the pounds of meat stewing away within. Ross gazed up, only in time to see Aster's legs vanish between into the merman's maw. A last bulge disappeared down that neck before disappearing into that belly, barely making extend outward. Ross knew Aster was no doubt squirming for his life, but...he couldn't see any sign of the man. Akula's belly was just to big and full. "Urkk..." Ross groaned in disgust as his face was pressed against that pale orb. Now he could clearly hear the sloshing taking place inside. "You...You...YOU MONSTER!" Ross punched Akula's gut as hard as he could. His face seethed with anger. "Why!? Why!? Whywhywhy!!!!? We were gone! We were so close to freedom." He pounded on Akula's gut again and again, though with less power behind it. "But no! You just HAD to come after us didn't you. You jerkface!"
  185.
  186. [Akula -> Blanque] Akula was largely unfazed by the pounding upon the front of his forebelly. If anything, he found it enjoyable, that massively-thick tail swishing languidly through the water below. He'd lick his upper lip, a hand resting on that packed white globe. "When I start something, I intend to see it through to the end. Surely a sailor like you can appreciate a desire to be efficient~?" He leaned in, that packed tummy looming closer. "You weren't gone, you're still in the same water you were an hour ago. Nothing changed. You may as well have remained right beside me. ..Or, better yet.." He smiled smugly, giving Ross hungry eyes as he rubbed his hands up and down the sides of his forebelly, for emphasis~ (No problem. Oh, and remember, food's only digested inside the tail!) Just a reminder and for future reference.)
