  1. Yea but people form communities around race, and race is a consistently powerful variable in society which people care about. So race matters more. The argument I see from race realists
  2.
  3. Again, trying to argue race isn't real is a bad strategy
  4.
  5. You can dislike the term race and say it doesnt meet the threshold you decide is important but it's still a term which describes something real, a term people know, and blacks and whites are a different something
  6.
  7. And like quibbling over whether IQ truly measures someone's value, quibbling over whether race captures some discreet and perfect description of human variation is irrelevant next to the fact that this is what we have information on.
  8.
  9. the continental races most people talk about is what all the literature is on so it is meaningless and doesnt matter. You can say there is no more meaning to Asian and Black than Welsh and Korean but this isnt a refutation but rather a quibble. No meaning
  10. Maybe one day ethnic differences will be scrutinized more but start with the general first
