  20. | About Yourself:
  21.
  22. * Background:
  23. Hyejin was born as an only child to a Chinese Mother and Korean Father. After staying in China for the first few years of her life, Hyejin’s parents decided to move back to Korea when Hyejin was 5 because of how both her parents had better job opportunities there. They had always showered her with love but seemed almost overly protective.
  24. Initially, Hyejin found her parents’ care suffocating as they refused to allow her to play with the other children or participate in sports day competitions like everyone else as they were “afraid that she would get hurt”.
  25. To get her mind off an action-packed childhood, Hyejin’s parents spent a lot of time trying to figure out what her dream profession would be and got her to work hard towards that goal by tempting her with family trips to watching professionals work.
  26. This worked to a certain extent as Hyejin studied extremely hard as she wanted to become an Architect in the future and knew that she had to work very hard to become one, causing her to lapse in and out of wanting to play and forcing herself to study. This also led to Hyejin being the smartest kid in school as she was always doing her own reading a few grades above her age.
  27. Because of how over-protective her parents were, Hyejin was constantly quarrelling with her parents when they refused to let her play with her friends.
  28. However, Hyejin soon understood why her parents were so reluctant to let her play with the other children when she was chasing her friends down the school corridor in Primary School and unknowingly used her speed ability.
  29. After that incident, Hyejin’s parents finally explained to her about her ability and how they found out about it when she first learnt to walk and were afraid of others learning about this ability she had and would call up the authorities to take her away for testing. It was after this incident where Hyejin had decided to keep her abilities hidden from others and stayed obedient to her parents, not wanting to be taken away from them.
  30. However, this caused her interest in her abilities to grow a lot more as she grew curious of how she could control them and manipulate them, never letting an opportunity slip when she finds an isolated area to test her powers in. She also started to lose a lot of friends as she distanced herself from others to protect herself from everyone else.
  31.
  32. * Personality:
  33. Hyejin is well known for her cold front, always seemingly irritated by others because of their idiocy and lack of knowledge.
  34. She is very confident of her abilities and knows clearly where her strengths and weaknesses lie. Therefore, she feels as though she is the more “superior” one over others often and hates being contradicted or told that she is too young to know anything as she knows that she knows more than most.
  35. Therefore, Hyejin hates it when anyone doubts her abilities/looks down on her because of her age or disagrees with her as she believes that she is always right, getting very irritated and starting quarrels with whoever that does not believe in her abilities/ideas, becoming extremely sarcastic and sassy when this happens. She hence also always tries to look and act tougher so that she would not be made fun of her height and cute face.
  36. This also causes her to end up not wanting to take advice from others as she is too prideful and is embarrassed to get help from others.
  37. Even though she is extremely easy to tick off, Hyejin never gets violent as she is very rational and knows that with her size, she would never win in a fight, hence always fighting with her wit and wide knowledge of the world instead.
  38. She is extremely smart and studious and is a very sore loser, working much harder when she meets someone that is better than her in what she is confident in, general knowledge, and will call a competition on anyone she thinks could be better than her to prove herself.
  39. She reads way beyond her syllabus to keep an edge above everyone else but hates it when anyone just calls her “talented” or “a natural smartass” as she got to where she is through hard work only and does not believe in being born good in something.
  40. Because of how she distances herself from others, Hyejin had been able to watch and read others in third person very often and found herself hating how humans are always so selfish, hence causing her to have negative views on people and finds it hard to trust others, believing that everyone is evil and wishes the worst for others.
  41. This cold front that Hyejin puts up is mainly to protect herself from being found out having abilities and is usually jealous of others whom are able to have many friends.
  42. Despite that, it does not dismiss the fact that Hyejin sees herself as being better than everyone else and believes that everyone has bad intentions, causing her to trust very few and making it hard for her to make friends.
  43. Thankfully, despite always trying to look more mature, especially in her thoughts, Hyejin has not completely lost the child side of her, easily melting/getting excited for anything cute and flashing a rare smile when very happy.
  44. Hence, when she finally opens up to someone, she starts smiling and becomes a lot warmer around that person although still trying to maintain her “tsundere” persona in order to keep herself from getting embarrassed. She also gets very protective and clingy over this person and would do anything to protect this person.

  81. | Questions:
  82. —> Answer the following questions the way you think your character would
  83.
  84. * Do you think you will survive till the end?
  85. If I’m put into scenarios where I am able to use my wit to survive, yes. If I am put in situations where my emotions and logic are conflicting I’m afraid that I may choose my feelings over logic even though that is the dumbest thing to do. I’d also doubt my survival in situations where I’m forced to use my physical strength as I know that I’m extremely weak in that area.
  86. However, overall, I’d like to believe that my chances of survival is pretty high as everyone needs my brains and will not betray me as they need to protect the brain.
  87.
  88. * Who do you think will not make it?
  89. Pacific or Human. I think that Pacific is too kind-hearted for her own good and would probably be the first to sacrifice herself for the others or get tricked into doing something that could lead to her death.
  90. I think that Human may not survive as she does not have an ability, which could cause surviving to be tough for her, especially since she isn’t close to the rest, she’d have to depend on herself which would prove tough without an ability.
  91.
  92. * How would you react if your parents or close adults in your life disappear?
  93. I would be extremely emotional and angry about the whole situation. I would not let go of any chance to get them back but would of course, take the necessary precautions and won’t rush things despite my emotions and reach them in the best and most rational way possible, hopefully taking down whatever took them in the first place too.
  94.
  95. * Would you think of love and romance in the middle of this post apocalyptic world?
  96. I’d like to say that I would not, however, I think that in a world like this, having good relationships with as many people as possible and having someone to protect as well as protect you will be very important. However, the emotional attachment that come with a relationship could end up being a burden instead so I would probably keep it as an open possibility but not go rushing for one.
  97.
  98. * Would you sacrifice yourself for someone?
  99. Firstly, it would depend on the situation. If I see a way to get us both out alive, I would obviously not rush to take that person’s place.
  100. Secondly, I’d only do it if it is the only option and if I’m the best option for the sacrifice. If the other party is better off gone or everyone else would lose the least from that person dying, I would not sacrifice myself. However, if he/she is an important figure to the mission and there would be fewer losses if I died instead, I would sacrifice myself.
  101. However, if my logic is blurred due to the situation, I may end up losing myself and would stupidly sacrifice myself due to emotions.

  103. | Love Life:
  104.
  105. * Love Interest: Park Woojin (Wanna One; Energetic era..? XD)
  106. —> Back-Up Love Interest: Lai Guanlin (Wanna One; Produce 101/Energetic era)
  107. * Age: 15 (Older by one year)
  108. * Personality:
  109. - Cheerful/positive about most situations and always tries to keep everyone’s mood up even though he thinks otherwise sometimes
  110. - Is led by his gut feeling and emotions which Hyejin finds dumb at first but realises can be quite useful in some situations
  111. - Determined to do well/succeed in everything
  112. - Friendly
  113. - Impatient
  114. - Trustworthy and trusting
  115. - Is very confident in his physical abilities
  116. - Is never afraid/embarrassed to ask others for advice/help
  117. - Humble
  118.
  119. * How do they act around each other:
  120. Woojin -
  121. Had always respected Hyejin for her abilities but found her personality quite off putting since she was always so prideful and cold. However, he continued pushing himself to get her to open up nonetheless, trying to show her that she could trust him as much as he trusted her, being more smiley and warm around her than with others as he hopes to melt her cold heart.
  122. As the two get closer, Woojin doesn’t change, but sticks to Hyejin more as he feels closer to her since he was in the process in getting her to open up and finds her very trustworthy and logical, confiding and getting advice from her whenever he’s stuck in a dilemma and is unsure of the best action plan.
  123.
  124. Hyejin -
  125. She initially found Woojin very infuriating as he was always doing things rashly and never used logic in his actions. Since their beliefs and personalities crashed, Hyejin always found herself getting fed up with Woojin, even more so when he always acted as if their falling out never happened as he stuck himself to her.
  126. However, as time passes, Hyejin finally acknowledges Woojin’s strengths and starts opening up to him and feeling more comfortable in being real with him as she realises how trustworthy he is, becoming less cold towards him and actually respecting and seeing him as an equal/someone better than her. She also starts trusting and confiding in him a lot more than others as she finds him great at listening and being a pillar of strength when she really needs it, especially when she finds herself wrapped up in emotions and unable to think logically.
  127.
  128. * How did they meet:
  129. The two met when Hyejin first “forcefully” joined the group, reasoning with them that she could help them device plans and give them knowledge on how to eat and drink in the wild and finally got accepted despite being disliked by a few members for being very prideful at first. Since Woojin had already joined the group through acquaintances since he knew many of the existing members, the two met at Hyejin’s “initiation”.
