  2. These notes do not tell you everything, nor are they a completely optimal route. They are mostly just my scrawlings during routing. They should still give the basic gist of the route though. For more context watch my (Dabomstew's) runs on the leaderboards (though note that I won't always follow this route exactly)

  10. NOTE ON NORMAL END:
  11. Normal End is almost the same as True End until Chapter 10, you should just skip all the quest item chests (these are mentioned in CAPS)
  12. You can also ignore any mentions of Parfait Moon or Meti/Metic/Metinark line skills for Normal End.
  13. Once you reach Chapter 10 you will be redirected to separate notes for the rest.

  46. Run through 2 enemy rooms, get Palace Key 3 and 9000 Eni nearby

  50. Go to the shop at the camp and buy Shina's weapon (Calcolsmagear) and 3 Rapid Rings
  51. Go to [!] event opposite camp for Diary

  53. Equip weapon on Shina and remove Lily from the party, go to IRL and clear all events there (3) (use Triangle menu for location selection)
  54. If you learned Lunamissimo by now, set Lunamissimo x3 as your combo
  55. Attempt to open big door, then go to IRL and clear event (L1 skip, Run for it)

  57. Fight BOSS Skala: Lunamissimo x3 if learnt, Trally Bloom + Lunamis x2 if not, repeat if necessary

  63. Get Crane Key in the room with the camp
  64. Pathway Key and STURFIL ORE x1 in the next room along (not the opposite one, ignore that)
  65. MENU: Episode Chart, retrieve Attack Ring from Reunion and Defiance, equip 1 Rapid Ring on Shina and Attack Ring + Rapid Ring on Al, then IRL, 1CS, continue on
  66. Get Newspaper Article from mini [!] near end of hallway
  67. Activate Crane (30s wait), go under platform and get SPIDERWEB x1, cross boat
  68. Go to IRL and clear Talk
  69. Go to next [!]. L1 skip, Investigate for Frog and Fish Corpse
  70. View next events then go to IRL (Map) before trying to enter final door
  71.  
  72. Go to final event for BOSS Muga
  73. Al should use Sol Strike x3 each turn and attempt to learn Sol Spear.
  74. Shina waits each turn UNLESS either she's still missing Lunamissimo (use Trally+Lunamis to guaranteed learn it) OR Al learned Sol Spear but missed the kill range (use Lunamissimo x3 to finish it off)

  77. Cross 1st boat, turn left as you come off and enter nearby side door, head to far exit through hallways, then go to the area exit.
  78. L1 skip, Deal with the Merchant, prompt, 1CS, prompt, actually leave through door now

  81. Skip all items here
  82. First event in ruins: mash X (eww) until choice - Attack the enemy, then 1CS, then L1 skip Analyse the item, another L1 skip Push Lydia, leave Worlds Odyssey, L2 skip + prompt + L2 skip

  84. Descend slope and go to event again, L1 skip, Wont Lose This Time
  85.  
  86. Corpse: Al will take a turn unless you got 0 encounters since getting her. Definitely attack with Sol Strike x3 if no Sol Spear yet, otherwise you can consider standbying.
  87. Either way Shina should now kill it with Lunamissimo x3 (damage range if only Shina attacks, but it should be a favorable one).

  89. Next boss should die to Sol Spear/Sol Lance immediately (wait with Shina if necessary), 3CS+prompt, carry on
  90. (Consider resetting the run or reverting to no kill Ripuka 1 if you don't have at least Sol Spear by now)

  92. Cross bridges and carry on until just before 2nd log. Pickup ODD CANDLELIGHT x1
  93. Get next IRL item - L1 skip, Look at it with everyone
  94. Go to IRL and clear the event
  95. Now go to the next wilderness area, **get the teleport stone here**
  96. Skip all items in the wilderness and carry on to the forest.
  97.  
  98. View first 2 events (first one recruits Lucil), grab Elfs Guidance.
  99. Head towards bridge branch. Event = L1 skip, Go after them. Next event L2 skip
  100. Take 1st teleport, activate 2nd and get IRL item and ANCIENT BRANCH x1 next to it
  101. Return, take 2nd tp, toe around it and go activate another branch, go into the back of that TP, active 3rd TP
  102. Go back one, fall off branch and go back through front side of TP, go into 3rd TP (NB: new TPs will not be marked on map, use this knowledge if needed)
  103. Enter narrow gap and go over another bridge to another teleporter back
  104. View the IRL event in Town now (ignore the one in Talk). L2 skip
  105. Proceed to area 2
  106. Get Code Salve x1 just before the first event
  107. Get ELF's HEART x1 next to the progression purple teleporter if you missed any items earlier
  108. Go down left side of path, snag weird key and teleport back
  109. Activate light bridge and go to event (CS x2)
  110. Go round the house platforms to the next teleporter. Grab Enolef's Ether x1 in the last chest before the area transition.
  111. L2 skip x1, Fight Ripuka 1
  112.  
  113. If you're going for the kill:
  114. Al runs to the left side of the heart and then in towards Ripuka. Carefully pick up bugs so that you reach at least 80% corruption without dying or going over 100%. Then use Sol Spear/Lance x3.
  115. If she's still alive, have Shina use a Code Salve and an Enolef's Ether, Clea standby, then try again for the kill turn 2.

  117. If not going for kill, you should vary your strategy here based on whether Shina learned Metic in Chapter 1 or not:
  118. If Shina learned it: Stand still with everyone. Have Shina triple guard every turn while everyone else just standbys immediately. If you move *after* Ripuka on the last round of turns (4th) use Meti+Metic to learn Metinark instead of guarding.
  119. If she didn't learn it yet: Run Al forward and Shina/Clea backwards so Al gets targeted. Al triple guards every turn, Clea standbys every turn, Shina uses Meti+Meti to learn Metic then Meti+Metic to learn Metinark then standbys the other 2 turns.

  121. General note on the kill strat:
  122. Killing gives you extra levels throughout the mid-lategame and is also faster than the standby strat IF it goes cleanly.
  123. If you don't want to mess around with the Ripuka 1 kill you can just ignore it for all runs to begin with. The mid-lategame is perfectly doable without these levels.

  126. Area boss: Usual Lunamissimo + Sol Spear/Lance stuff
  127. 3CS. View IRL event immediately then Play the game of ring-around-the-rosey.
  128. After 4 cycles you'll be set free to an L1 event. I'LL NEVER TELL! Neppa
  129. Another L1 event after some regular cutscenes, Negotiate with Celica
  130.  
  131. MENU once you're in the Temple
  132. -Party: Clea->Celica
  133. -Combos: Set them for everyone (Shina best Lunamis line move x3, Al Sol Lance x3, Celica Aster League x2 + Astate x1)
  134.  
  135. Note on move use in the temple:
  136. - Celica should always use her combo on as many targets as available
  137. - If Normal End, same for Al
  138. - If True End, you want to learn Al's speed buff while you're here. So the first time she gets to move you should use Def Park+Sol Strike+Sol Lance (learns Def Pant, 100% proc if you killed Ripuka 1) and then once you have Def Pant you should switch to Def Pant+Sol Pro+Sol Lance to learn Parfait Moon. Once you have Parfait Moon you can revert to just comboing.
  139. - If you killed Ripuka 1 Al will go first, otherwise Celica will go first. Either is fine.

  141. Go to IRL for 1 event, back
  142. GO to first area
  143. Symbol attack an enemy and run for the turn speed buff so that Celica and Al outspeed the frogs
  144. Run through to marker, kill the frog
  145. Now go to topright room (looking from compass, so back and then right), go to IRL item event
  146. Return to first room, view 2 IRL events (second one is choice, either one will do fine), go to next area (right at turn)
  147. Go to second frog battle (combo again, if it's Celica then pick up bugs to restore SP to 130)
  148. Get next IRL item
  149. Next frog battle (One of your two characters will need to kill 2, easier to line up with Al generally)
  150. View IRL event. Don't miss unmarked Red Key in next room
  151. Final Frog battle. Both characters will take out 2 frogs each.
  152. Collect the Shina weapon upgrade here (only +20 MAT, but gives her PDEF a big boost which she's lacking hard at this point). Take it and equip it on the boss menu.
  153. Turn *left* as you return.
  154. Go to teleporter, CS, boss battle
  155. Have Celica use her combo yet again. It's likely dead, if not then Al can easily finish it off.

  157. 4CS, prompt, L1 skip (leave it to Lily)
  158. View event (2CS, back to Odyssey, 1CS)
  159. View event near turtle
  160. Turn left in hallway after event, follow hallways and stairs until you reach the 2nd floor door to the West Wing, take a right instead and go down a staircase, grab another IRL item
  161. Immediately go to IRL, L1 event (Scope things out) then an L2 event
  162. Return, climb stairs and go to door, CS
  163. 3x L2 skips, fight Lily (combo)
  164. 3CS, prompt, leave throne room, head back to East Wing and unlock door near the camp
  165. View IRL event, proceed onwards to 3rd floor
  166. Carefully jump through the dumb Lucil puzzle (jump and THEN move)
  167. No keys required here, just run all the way to the final event.

  169. Unceremoniously dumped into the forest. 2 events, carry on to teleporter (if you skipped a lot of items earlier, another chance at a ELF's HEART x1 is available here)
  170. Grab one Dark Elf's Guidance next to the poison, cross poison for a second one
  171. Take the nearby teleporter
  172. Take the teleporter immediately in front of you, grab a Dark Elf's Guidance near where you come out then head straight back in
  173. Open the 2 locked doors to the savepoint, then a third to reach an event marker, VS Al
  174. 2CS, Al 1: combo
  175. 2CS, Al 2: combo
  176. 2CS, L1 event (Calm Munakata down)
  177. Return to the green teleporter you got the 3rd Dark Elf's Guidance from earlier. Get IRL item and immediately view the Town IRL event (L2x2) [again, ignore the one in Talk]
  178. Now you can get through the door, view event (end chapter 7) and get Al's weapon nearby
  179.  
  180. EQUIP AL's WEAPON, ATTACK RING AND RAPID RING AGAIN, ALSO GIVE CELICA THE LAST RAPID RING
  181. Use touchpad, warp to Alhaoi Wilderness
  182. Renew turnspeed buff and head for part 2 of the Ruins
  183. Head for Ripuka event
  184. Ripuka 2: Combo
  185. Lucil: Collect SP shards to 140, combo. If she's still alive, have Al finish her (if you don't have Parfait Moon yet, this is a good chance to finish learning it)
  186. Lucil 2: Celica and Al attack and collect bugs as needed. If Shina gets a turn she can learn Metinark (Meti+Metic) if not learnt already, otherwise just standby (she gets countered if she attacks)
  187. 2CS after Lucil 2, go back to first bridge and cross it and get IRL item, IRL events x4 (the one in Sagami Library is L1 / Be yourself)
  188. Knockback dragon:
  189. Standby with Celica, have Al finish learning Parfait Moon if she doesn't have it already else standby, and use Shina's combo while being careful to not knock it into any bugs.
  190. If it's still alive have Celica use an Enolef's Ether, Al same as turn 1, Shina finishes it off.
  191. L2 x1, prompt x2, warp to the temple
  192.  
  193. Leave temple
  194. Walk along path, don't bother with a turnspeed buff.
  195. Carry on the rest of the way to the lava dungeon
  196. Collect BLAZE STONE x1 at start of second area if you skipped a lot of true end items before now
  197. Knockback dragon 2:
  198. Have Celica use Comet Faye x3. Al uses Parfait Moon if she has it and standby otherwise, Shina combo again (if you have 310 SP and Lunamis Diapathy, you can go for a safer kill with Trally Bloom + Lunamis Diapathy x2)
  199. If it lives and corrupts, have someone summon Skala from the touchpad menu and just knockback it off the walls until it dies. If it lives and hasn't corrupted yet you can have Celica grab bugs for SP and finish it with another Comet Faye x3.

  201. Collect Celica's weapon near the newly spawned bridge down and equip it, also set Aster League x3 for her combo here and upgrade Shina to Lunamispolo x3 if she didn't have it before
  202. Boss: Attack with Celica and Al (use bugs to restore their SP), Shina should learn Metinark if she hasn't already (Meti+Metic) and triple guard otherwise (it counters her)
  203. 4CS, prompt, return to Odyssey, warp to Temple again

  205. If you're doing Normal End, go to the end of these notes for Normal End specific Chapter 10/11 now. The below notes are for True End.

  207. Use the shop at the camp to buy 1 Sanatheus Jewel. Then leave camp and briefly use the Strain Area menu to Create Code > Pandemic (Enemy) Lv3
  208. If Shina is somehow still missing either Lunamispolo or Metinark, you probably want to just eat the time loss of getting them on an encounter here.
  209. Otherwise do NOT detour for speed buff and just go straight to the altar. Head to Odyssia (L2 x2)

  211. Collect Nightmare Horn and equip to Al
  212. Head to first marker for boss:
  213. Al - Parfait Moon + Sol Lance x2
  214. Celica - combo
  215. CSx3
  216. Take right jump pad
  217. Take second pad on next choice
  218. Event, carry on for another event, 4x L2, revert, 2x L2, prompt
  219. Use this forced menu to give Shina the extra Rapid Ring that Celica left so she has 2, then backtrack to the event
  220. Celica 1: Sol Lance (only need 1 to kill so you can finish learning Parfait Moon if needed)
  221. Celica 2: Standby with Al and attack with Shina (Lunamispolo x3 is fine)
  222. 1x L2, prompts, 1x L2
  223. Fight Heaven's Messenger (follow these instructions carefully):
  224. - Run over the 10 bugs on the front left then use Rokudein + Metinark x2 to destroy as many more bugs as possible and also learn Metistar (fixes corruption level to let you survive this strat)
  225. - Use Code Jack > Pandemic (Enemy) Lv3
  226. - Use Rokudein + Metistar x2 to destroy as many bugs as possible and heal yourself
  227. - Use Pandemic (Enemy) Lv3 again, Heaven's Messenger corrupts
  228. - RUN OVER EVERY BUG THAT YOU CAN, then use Rokudein+Lunamispolo x2 to destroy any bugs he's standing on and kill him (you can just use Lunamispolox3/combo if he's not standing on any)

  232. Bumrush Area 2 and head for the camp behind Shina climb/Clea wall

  260. Hand in all 24 Gathering quests (buy extra items if short, you may have missed a chest somewhere)
  261. If you run out of money, go to episode chart and raid it for money (can get about 110k)
  262. Sell guard bracelets etc if somehow STILL short on money

  264. Reassemble party (Al->Lily, Lily->Shina, Celica->Clea) (makes Shina, Al, Celica)
  265. If you didn't go to Episode Chart yet, go there now. Hold R1 until you reach Chapter 10 and then select "Lydia Uncoded" and "Kill the Messenger" (give accessories)
  266. Re-equip all gear (weapons, best armor you have. Then Walkthrough Guide/Magical Tome for Shina, Attack Ring and Rapid Ring for each of Al and Celica)

  268. Take jump pad nearby the camp, head for Ripuka
  269.  
  270. Ripuka 3: Al: Parfait Moon, Sol Lance x2. Finish with Celica if needed
  271. L2 x1, L1 skip event (TOP CHOICE duh), L2 skip event
  272. Can use HP heals on this menu for safety. Bugs will heal Celica's SP so no need to bother on that side
  273. Ripuka 4: Have Al and Celica pick up bugs and go glitch mode. Use their strong phys skills and their glitch skill. Then focus down Ripuka afterwards.
  274. Shina use a Code Salve + Enolef's Ether + Trally Bloom turn 1. Can standby remaining turns or use Lunamispolo x3 on Ripuka if you don't have Lunamis Diapathy yet.

  276. Head onwards to final fight
  277. Phase 1/2: make sure you're still buffed up with Speed (and phys atk if possible). Otherwise just spam powerful stuff
  278. Actual final fight: Spam strongest moves and pray (Shina should be able to learn Lunamis Imization by using Lunamis Diapathy x3 for an extra chance of the one-round)

  281. NORMAL END CHAPTER 10/11 NOTES:

  283. You should have started reading here after beating Chapter 9 boss and quickjumping back to Sanatheus Temple.
  284. Head for Odyssia immediately (L2x2), skipping everything.
  285. First boss: Combo with both Celica and Al.

  289. Event, carry on for another event, 4x L2, revert, 2x L2, prompt
  290. Backtrack to the event, 3CS, fight Celica
  291. Celica 1: combo with Al
  292. Celica 2:
  293. If she kills Shina: Ultra Ogre Brew with Al, standby Al's second turn, combo with Shina
  294. If not: standby Al, combo with Shina
  295. 1x L2, prompts, 1x L2

  297. Fight Heaven's Messenger: combo with Shina

  300. Bumrush to the final Ripuka battle, but open the menu at some point before you actually reach the event marker:
  301. Equips: Optimize Celica and give her a Rapid Ring in the blank slot
  302. Party: Swap Clea with Celica

  304. Ripuka 3: Run up with Celica, pick up 2 or 3 bugs so that you have 360+ SP, then combo.
  305. If she's still alive you can try finishing her off with Al or standby to Celica's next turn.

  307. 4CS. Run with Enigma to the final event marker. Timing ends on the frame that the radar disappears as you touch the event marker.
