The Narxi are a fairly old race, having been around for roughly three thousand parlons, which, is the human equivalent for 20,000 years. Their planet, which revolves around a dead star, teems with life, thanks to the hot, molten insides beneath the crust. As you should already know, the life here has developed bio luminescence. But we're not here to talk about the planet, are we? We're here to talk about the fantastic furries.

They've developed over time, to a modern day society, on a technological level that is the equivalent, or maybe even greater than, trolls, and humans. They have achieved geothermal electricity, modern housing, and are even capable of space travel, although, that is much rarer. While they are technologically advanced, they do still prefer to live at peace with their environment. Having all the modern amenities, they still do things like hunt, and forage. Prefer to be outside, around a campfire, than inside their homes.

These people are peaceful, and perhaps belong to a society that is the closest thing to a utopia you can really imagine. There is virtually no crime, or disputes. The Narxi believe in everyone working together, taking care of each other, while also still being able to be independent.

In their language, there are no words for "he" or "she". Genders don't exist, and there's no differentiation in any biological sex. Now, that being said, they have hermaphroditic reproductive parts, similar to a troll's nook, and bulge. The bulge piece, would be called the tan'l, and the nook, a guultra. When not in use, the tan'l retracts, and, the skin closes up over the openings. All of their sexual organs are 100% articulated. They can open and close everything. Move it all by will. The guultra, is made of two separate chambers. The first, is a ribbed, textured, tunnel shape, which leads to the second opening, that leads to a open, womb-like area.

Here is where the shafar'a is deposited. Naxri's shafar'a is very sweet, and rich, used to nurture the bu'utin while inside the guultra. The fetus will absorb the material over time as it grows, using it for nutrition. It's supposed to fill the guultra's second chamber, and has two functions. It carries the DNA used to make the bu'utin(child), and once the fetus starts to grow, and form, it feeds on this material as a nutrient. The Narxi, while they are mammalian, their children grow a lot in the way that something would inside of an egg. There is no placenta or blood exchange between the carrier and child, but instead it feeds off of what's inside of there, and the carrier secretes this material as well into the chamber over development. The fetus can, through most of the gestation period, be forced from the body. But this almost never happens, as the Narxi see this as murder, since you already willingly held the shafar'a long enough to form the fetus.

The giver and carrier spend half a parlon waiting for the bu'utin to be born, and once it is, after another half a parlon it's actually usually put into a group, with the other children. They're all raised together, and taught how to fend for themselves. All the children stay together in a communal environment, learning things, forming bonds. Eventually, once they're old enough, they generally choose a profession, with a mentor, and begin to work and contribute to the community. Then, of course, after starting their apprenticeship, they work towards getting their own housing and start their own lives from there.


Physical characteristics:

The Narxi can come in almost any reasonable variation of a larger canine form (this means large breed dogs, or wolves/coyotes/foxes), and, are always very tall, compared to others. They are usually between 6' 5" and 7' 5" in height when fully grown.

Their blood color comes in five variations: red, yellow, blue, green, and purple. There are, of course, different shades within each caste.

They glow from their eyes, and claws. Their tongues, and, sexual organs do this as well.

Their relative strength can range from an olive blooded troll, to about a cerulean, to put things into an easier perspective. A lot of this just depends on muscle mass, and some genetics.

They are very quick, and agile, which is necessary for hunting, obviously.

Side notes:

The Narxi are very sexual creatures. It's not uncommon to see any arguments or potential disputes being solved through sexual actions.

Since trolls, humans, and other species have come to their planet, there has been a slight rise in frowned upon activities, but, any people that seem to have issues, are usually told to go live in the city.

It's becoming more common for Narxi to actually leave their home planet, and go out into the universe, exploring. Especially since other species came around.

They have their own language. Access to the grammatical structure and vocabulary is available upon request.

Their accents, when speaking the common language around trolls and humans, will sound like a very soft monotone, with deep, guttural sounds interjecting, whenever they use Ns and Gs.
