- "IT IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS TO BE IN A CHAIN OF ACTIVITIES IN THE HEART OF EUROPE AS IF THEY ARE HOLDING COUNTRIES HOSTAGE"
- Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın and Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Sedat Önal held talks at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, regarding the process that started with the NATO membership applications of Sweden and Finland and developed with Turkey's veto. After their meetings, Kalın and Önal met with journalists. Stating that terrorist organizations have almost captured these countries with the chain of activities they have established in Finland and Sweden, Kalın said, "It is unacceptable that these terrorist organizations are in a chain of activities in the heart of Europe as if capturing these countries." Kalın emphasized that Turkey is not a country that is against NATO's expansion policy.
