  1. [16:52] Yvette Eldergrove asks, "Supreme... Could I have a word?"
  2. [16:55] Anabelle Lockwood says, "Go ahead."
  3. [17:03] With the audience granted, the woman took a moment to look around. Of course she seldom paid attention to those who hung in the background. As of late she'd started to take notice. Never knowing when a set of unwanted ears could cause your plans to unravel.
  4.
  5. Those hues of rust then returned to Annabelle. "I was Eurya's apprentice, who was yours." As if to showcase proof to this statement the woman raised her right hand. Showcasing the scar on her palm, one that was mirrored to the back of her hand.
  6.
  7. It'd been a ritual of induction into apprenticeship. The piercing of her hand had signaled a willingness to learn the Occultic ways. "However, I've not seen her in years." She'd bring her hands back to cross her chest.
  8.
  9. "I'm looking for some guidance I suppose. I've learned what I could on my own and I'm starting to hit walls." She didn't outright say what she was desiring teaching of. Though, it wasn't exactly hard to guess. "If you've got any wisdom to part, I'll accept it. If you don't I can continue as I have."
  10. (Yvette Eldergrove)
  11. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  12.
  13. [17:09] Anabelle sat cross legged within the shadows of this tree. Her shoeless feet rested among the grass there, and the darkness that was cast around the Supreme ebbed and flowed as if it was breathing and alive. When she turned her gaze toward Yvette, it was only through small slits in the crown mask that her striking, phantom blue eyes shined through.
  14.
  15. The mention of Eurya brought a simple, small smile to her pale face.
  16.
  17. "My failure of an apprentice took on one of her own. How silly." she mused. "She stabbed your hand the same way too." Anabelle actually giggled a little. "I wasn't exactly intending for that to be a tradition, but-" she shrugged. "If some legacy is to be passed down, that one can't be the worst."
  18.
  19. Ana sighed and nodded once. "Another already came to me seeking lessons and stuff. I'd be happy to show you the path of becoming a Sister of Moonfall. It won't be easy though."
  20.
  21. "Did Eurya teach you anything? Or are you still just an occultist?"
  22. (Anabelle Lockwood)
  23. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  24.
  25. [17:34] Yvette stood there as Anabelle spoke, glancing over the woman curiously. Of course she'd seen them from afar plenty of times. From the village shadows to the peak of the temple within the vale.
  26.
  27. Which made the sight of the shadows even more unnerving. It was as if they were alive, naturally not a very pleasant thing to think. Even to one steeped in the occult, then again maybe she was just allowing old fears to cling onto her.
  28.
  29. Rust colored hues settled upon the mask, it was odd to see someone through such a falsity. Luckily, Theria was full of masked individuals for one reason or the other.
  30.
  31. "It hurt like hell if that makes it better" As she spoke she offered a little smile in return, Eurya had been important to the woman once. "Though, failure or not she found me and I'm anything but."
  32.
  33. As she spoke she'd close her eyes for but a moment, before opening them again. Shining with an ethereal blue light, once those hues hadbegun to glow they had shifted away form Anabelle no doubt looking at the world in the new light htat it was.
  34.
  35. Of course it was only for a moment that they glowed, before the woman closed them again and allowed her own rust colored hues to gaze upon the woman. Clearly not keen on flaunting the gifts of the Dark Lord openly.
  36.
  37. "Eurya taught me the basics of Occultism, how to channel it. The rest I have learned of my own power."
  38. (Yvette Eldergrove)
  39. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  40.
  41. [17:45] Anabelle sensed that fear, leaning forward only a little with her elbows on her knees. Her shadow moved again, elongating out toward Yvette but not quite reaching her, as if the conjurer behind the trick was holding it back.
  42.
  43. Unlike Eurya, Anabelle wasn't afraid to show off what she was. Her eyes were always that spiritual blue, her dark magic on display at any given moment. Ana walked the streets of Moonfall as the witch who ruled it and she wouldn't be seen as anything less.
  44.
  45. The crown atop her head was the main symbol of that, of course.
  46.
  47. "Eurya thought it hurt as well. Maybe someday I'll explain the meaning behind it, if only because I'd love to know why she thought it necessary to repeat." Anabelle shrugged again and leaned back. "I'm happy to hear you carry determination that she lacked, though."
  48.
  49. "If you're here to learn of Elaide's arts, I'll tell you what I told the last one;the first lesson is hexing, the power of persuasion and suggestion. It's a simple spell, but one that's all too important, the power to influence the mind of another. To start you'll have to lure someone into the city and try it yourself. Manipulate them, urge them into doing something they would otherwise not do. Something harmful, something irreverent. Take your pick."
  50.
  51. "But you can only return to me once you've successfully done it without the aid of magic. This will be square one."
  52. (Anabelle Lockwood)
  53. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  54.
  55. [17:54] That shadowy tendril reached for her, as it did there was that familiar fear. Except now she realized why she had it. Celine's torture when she was younger. That brought a slight snarl to the woman's throat. Fear, it was one of those motivators that for some consumed them. For her? It brought out aggression.
  56.
  57. Perhaps why she fought so much.
  58.
  59. The magnificent displays of power aside, her attention shifted solely back to the conjurer. The brawler herself clasping her hands together tightly, letting them rest at her waist.
  60.
  61. "It didn't need to happen, now that is funny." It seemed she'd shifted back to the conversation. Letting the flush of fear and the anger it brought subside. After all, pain wasn't something you forgot.
  62.
  63. A few digits trailed along the otherside of her hand. Feeling the scar there. "Manipulation... I see." She'd not admit it was her weak suit. Being more accustomed to utilizing violence to gain what she wanted.
  64.
  65. "Very well, It'll be done."
  66. (Yvette Eldergrove)
  67. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  68.
  69. [17:55] Anabelle Lockwood says, "So be it. Come back when it's finished."
  70. [17:56] Maeve seemed to walk in on a very, very familiar sounding lecture from the Supreme of Moonfall. She tilts her head to the side ever so slowly, eyeing the girl in question that Anabelle was providing a task to. A grin met Maeve's lips.
  71.
  72. Eventually, those scarlet hues pan over towards Anabelle. Steps were taking closer towards the woman. Complete calmness, she doesn't seem to be thinking about anything in particular until she'd arrived by the side of said Supreme.
  73.
  74. "Greetingsss. We meet surprisingly soon... Under this new day's noon."
  75.
  76. Perhaps she was here to place an update of some sort? She chose not to interject further than that for now.
  77. (Maeve Illumir)
  78. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  79.
  80. [17:56] Anabelle Lockwood asks, "Hellooo, Maeve. Did you finish your assignment?"
  81. [18:00] Anabelle turns her head slightly toward Maeve as she leans back onto the tree again.
  82. (Anabelle Lockwood)
  83. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  84.
  85. [18:00] Maeve Illumir says, "I came to the brink. His will very nearly did blink... Just another wink and it would've been down the sink. The wills of people are strong... But I was far from being wrong. I see just how potent persuasion could be... Perhaps more practice for me."
  86. [18:01] Maeve Illumir says, "That was juuust now."
  87. [18:01] Anabelle Lockwood exclaims, "Continue working at it then.. Yvette here has been given the same assignment as you. If it helps, I'd be willing to let you both work together!"
  88. [18:01] Anabelle claps her hands a little. "Cooperation between soon-to-be Sister, Hmhmmm?"
  89. (Anabelle Lockwood)
  90. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  91.
  92. [18:01] Yvette blinked, work with someone else?
  93. (Yvette Eldergrove)
  94. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  95.
  96. [18:06] Maeve shifts her sights towards the woman in question. She tilts her head to the side, ever so slowly. As though scrutinizing them... She wonders what use they could be. And it was a little surprising that someone her age had found herself at the same stage as Maeve, but...
  97.
  98. Perhaps she was those her joined the Coven, who weren't born into it.
  99.
  100. "Helllloo... Who might you be? Maeve, that is me."
  101. (Maeve Illumir)
  102. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  103.
  104. [18:15] Yvette's attention had already been upon the strange little girl who spoke in rhyme. Looking them over for a moment before offering a little nod.
  105.
  106. "Yvette, you are..." She brought a hand to rub the back of her neck. This was a bit more awkward than she'd expected. Sure going off and dealing with something herself was easy. Working with someone else? Less so.
  107.
  108. "Well, Maeve. You've given it a shot already from the sounds of it. Think two of us going at it together would affect that?" She asked the young teen. Of course Anabelle had declared cooperation was worthwhile but in truth she'd never seen much good come of it.
  109. (Yvette Eldergrove)
  110. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  111.
  112. [18:20] Anabelle watched the two younger fledgling witches greet one another for what might have been the first time. The Supreme relaxed among the shadows and darkness that clung so lovingly to her and smiled again. She placed a pale hand down into the grass, some of the inky blackness slipping up among her fingers and long her knuckles as if it was now holding it back.
  113.
  114. "I'm sure you'll both figure out a way to accomplish it. Keep an eye out for others you think would fit well with our way of life too, hmhmmm? Invite them here. Moonfall is welcoming to all, especially those seeking to understand things the rest of the world tries to banish."
  115.
  116. She waved her hand, dismissing the both of them. "You know what you're to do though. I'll be waiting."
  117. (Anabelle Lockwood)
  118. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  119.
  120. [18:27] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  121. [18:29] Maeve hummed a tune to herself as Yvette spoke... She seemed to be contemplating the potentiality of the both of them working together to accomplish this. It was certainly a strange task in mind... She would consider it, but, for now, she answered honestly.
  122.
  123. "I belieeeve It is situational. Some are emotional. Privacy can oftentimes be the best policy. I've never given thought to a partner in said attempt... But the idea is not exempt."
  124.
  125. A nod is given to Anabelle. Recruitment... Right. Though, it is easier said than done.
  126.
  127. "Perhaps if a scenario calls for... a duo. I will reach out beforehand. Perhaps. Mayhaps, yes."
  128.
  129. Pivoting on her heels on dismissal, Maeve skipped elsewhere unless called back by either.
  130. (Maeve Illumir)
  131. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  132.
  133. [18:33] A gaze turned back to Anabelle as she spoke. Well it was something to think about. Though most people she met didn't seem keen on Moonfall or even Theria for that matter. It was probably the demons, after all it took a lot to be around them.
  134.
  135. With the threat of death whenever one felt hungry looming in the air. "I brought a few here before, forcefully I'll admit. I think most left quickly after I turned around."
  136.
  137. Then there was Maeve as she spoke. "You've a point, maybe it'll show up that we've a chance to convince someone. Maybe not." At this point she didn't know really where to start. After all not many wished to join Moonfall. Though, all it took was manipulating someone without magic?
  138.
  139. It was doable... Regardless she simply walked away alongside Maeve. Looking at them curiously as they went along.
  140. (Yvette Eldergrove)
  141. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  142.
  143. [18:40] Maeve nodded towards Yvette, only turning back for the briefest of moments to send back her reply, a grin meeting her eye. "Quite a few are easy to provoke. But some may have the strength to call their willpower; evoke."
  144.
  145. And from there... She'd skip off, manipulation without hexing was certainly an oddity to perform But the fact she'd gotten as far as she had with that one person meant it was more than possible. Definitely.
  146.
  147. "Well, well, well... The future may be swell."
  148.
  149. She proceeds off this time.
  150. (Maeve Illumir)
