  8. Burnin Red Ivanhoe is a Danish rock band that was formed by Karsten Vogel in 1967 in Copenhagen. That same year, 22 May the band played in Munkek?lderen as M / S Mitte – The Burnin Red Ivanhoe. The official debut came on 14 December 1968 in Brondby Pop Club as heating Spooky Tooth. This concert attracted so much positive publicity that they got a record deal, and the summer of 1969 appeared M 144 The record attracted attention not only in Denmark but also in Germany and England and the band was one of the first Scandinavian bands that gained international attention and success.

The band toured flttigt abroad and in Denmark, but the 10th April 1972 the band was dissolved and Karsten Vogel formed in musical extension of Burnin Red Ivanhoe is purely instrumental Secret Oyster. Burnin Red Ivanhoe has since been restored several times. Both the concerts and album releases. The band plays a fusion of free-form jazz, blues and hard rock and have both done in concise melodic songs and instrumental and complex compositions of longer duration. Their releases were between 1969 and 1974 released on Sonet and these releases are considered their most essential. They are not all released on CD yet.
