He grabbed the Magical Boomerang from his belt and launched it with his right arm. It whined in the air as it sailed just above the ground. It skated toward one of the wizrobes before bolting upward and striking it in the head. It whistled back toward Link's hand as its target collapsed to the ground. A single twitch was the wizrobe's last move.

The second throw saw the boomerang strike a second wizrobe in the temple. The third wizrobe was spooked at the sight while Link returned the boomerang to his belt.

"That's amazing!" Fanny said. "Where did you learn that technique?" She had pulled the water canister from the bag.

"The hobbits use boomerangs as well as bows to hunt. I've been practicing with one since childhood."
