Lieutenant Derek Sting is a part of the Second Generation of SPARTAN's developed by DR ______ ________ most of his early life is entirely covered in black ink what is known is during the Lambda-Militia War he had made entire Rebel and Insurgency groups disappear without a trace even before he was a SPARTAN, during his training he showed exceptional skill above his peers within Beta Company a man fit for most jobs, he was originally ONI's personal Hitman used to quell the inner attacks caused by the remnants of the Chaos Insurgency, however due to high demand and need to put more SPARTAN's on the frontline Colonel Holland was able to have him transfered to Noble Team.

Derek Sting is regarded as a skilled assassin and "... more of a hyper-lethal vector than a soldier," evidenced by his heavily redacted personnel file. Derek has a tendency to "go solo" during missions, much to the dismay of his superiors. Despite having an obscure past, highly potent skills, and a reserved, "lone wolf" personality, Derek shows care and compassion for his fellow humans; he often undertakes life-threatening actions to assist soldiers, civilians, he is honestly a curious fellow and a odd SPARTAN indeed it's hard to pinpoint exactly what to place him as really.

NOBLE Team needs the members though and someone without a background from eithside will likely help, not to say that the recommendation for Church-B312, is a bad choice.

Derek Sting is the Little Brother of Alex Sting originally meant to partake within the RIMTEC "Lone Wolf" Program alongside his Brother he hadn't met the age requirements at the time and thus was essentially left as an Orphan much of his past from there is unknown what is known is that he had become a Mercenary during that time practically on the level of Special Forces, a Lone Wolf operative in his one right he was an Assassin for hire, when the Seven Hour War came he defended his home ended up joining the Chaos Insurgency and acted as their own personal Militia hitman, the 'Rebel' groups he made disappear were entire Militia FOB bases.


His skill set is perfect for any combat scenario, he can work with teams albeit is uncomfortable with doing so besides his Brother he's the only other SPARTAN wearing the basic variant of the MKIV armor anymore as far as we can tell, his assignment to Noble Team is likely putting him in vastly better hands then he would be with ONI.
