  3. [b][span color="#00d535"]Welcome, this is the fourth Iron Hideout Competition, a friendly event and something to have some fun with during the league. Made by the community, for the community. No entry fee, no cost, just some good ole fashioned fun. Build a hideout base on a specified theme, vote for your choices and enjoy some community offered prizes.[/b][/span]

  13. This is a community made event. Build a hideout base on a specified theme, vote for your choices and enjoy some community offered prizes. Anyone can submit hideouts they have designed, however we have a few rules on what counts as a valid hideout for the competition, to keep things fair, see Rules below.

  15. Once the submission period is over, the community will have a few weeks to vote on their favourite hideouts that were submitted. Then, we will announce top voted hideouts.

  17. We run this event as something to do for fun as people finish league goals.

  26. Name and idea are by Pixxelkick. The inspiration for this event is the show [url=https://youtu.be/Dl2GunBmGz8?t=215]Iron Chef[/url]! Like the show, entries must follow a specified theme. And what is that theme? Well, that will be announced soon.

  44. This theme can take many forms, and we welcome artistic liberties to be taken on the thematic concept. Your hideout MUST fit this theme! Stories, lore, etc are encouraged but make sure the theme is seen in the hideout, the story should not be the only place the theme is.

  48. By popular request. You may submit to one or both categories. Both categories have separate submissions and voting. Important: MTX category is by popular request, but due to limited prizepool (this is a player run event) prizes will be for the non MTX category.

  50. [b][span color="#ffffff"]Non MTX category:[/span][/b] No MTX hideouts or decorations. Can only be a hideout you could obtain via normal means in game without spending any currency in the MTX shop. It must be 100% decorations from Favor (Excluding "Free" decorations like crafting bench of course). This is the main category.

  56. We contacted GGG and while we are allowed to have the event, we are not allowed to have any sort of ingame prizepool (so no exalts, sorry!) The community has generously offered some prizes. Send a message to FallMakesHideouts or Guggelhupf if you want to add to the list!

  58. Due to limited prizepool (this is a player run event) prizes for the top 3 are only for the non MTX category. The MTX category is for bragging rights only.

  83. 1. The hideout must be created after the competition has started.

  85. 2. The hideout must be submitted via [utl=https://hideoutshowcase.com/]Hideoutshowcase[/url] or [url=https://poe.house/]poe.house[/url] (It does the useful job of tallying up total favor cost and checking for any MTX decos)

  91. 5. Hideouts that are just copies of existing submitted hideouts will be disqualified, IE "Took a popular hideout, tweaked it a bit, resubmitted it"

  93. 6. Any form of plagiarism will result in an immediate disqualification and ban from any future Iron Hideout competitions

  95. 7. And finally, the most interesting rule of all and why we call it "Iron Hideout Competition"... The submitted hideout must follow a specified theme.

  113. It is very recommended you upload a youtube showcase vid because it's easier to understand the hideout.

  117. Once the submission period is over, the community will have a few weeks to vote on their favourite hideouts that were submitted. There will be a new thread for this. Then, we will announce top voted hideouts.

  119. Individuals voting are encouraged to please heavily weigh how much the submitted hideout sticks to and represents the competitions theme! This theme can take many forms, and we welcome artistic liberties and creative ideas to be taken on the thematic concept.

  121. We strongly encourage voters to checkout the submitters videos of their hideouts, and to not base a vote on one screenshot. The forum does not let normal users embed videos.

  129. No. Even though it is not actual MTX, it is a decoration you can't buy with favour even if you want, and is something all players have different amounts and sizes of.
