Good Morning[Afternoon]. I am Hunter Ovadia, and I want to represent you as President of Needwood Middle School Student Council for the 8th grade. I am here to talk about why I want to run for Student Council President, my experience as a leader, and how I can bring many new and creative ideas to Needwood Middle School. I have been a student at Needwood ever since the 6th grade. During that time, I made great friends, not only with the students, but with the staff as well. When I look back I can't think of going to any other school besides Needwood. I tell everyone I know about Needwood and the opportunities it has given me.Needwood tought me many things in the past 3 years, including how to survive in the real world. I'm not going to stand here and make promises that will be come unrealized. When I become your president, I will makesure I take each and everyone of your suggestions into consideration, and do my best to see it through.  I want students, anyone from any grade, to know they can come to me with suggestions, and I will listen to them, and be your voice, in making positive changes. The reason I feel I am qualified to be a president, is because I'm a student, just like you.  We all walked the same halls, and took the same classes, even made the same mistakes. I observed what went on, and thought how it could be made better. When you cast your vote, don't look at this as a popularity contest, but look at this as a positive change for your school. It's not about what you can do for me, it's what I can do for you. So take your earbuds out, take a minute and think. Vote Hunter Ovadia for Student Council President for the 8th grade.
