Tae a skripper

Covet: Eli pulled his hummer up to the OCH. He leaned his head back on the headrest and looked over at the familiar building. " I really want this to go smoothly tonight." He mumbled as he pulled the keys out of the ignition and put them into his pocket then opened up his door to climb out. // Tae had been in the kitchen, her sewing machine out with a bunch of things scattered across the table. It'd been fairly quiet over the holiday so she'd been keeping herself busy with work and costume making.
Covet: *ROVER
Covet: [Not hummer... -facepalm- Off to a great start!]
Tsaaq: ((Lmaooo.))
Tsaaq: Bliss got out of the Rover after him and put her hand on his shoulder, she didn't really know too many details. "I'm sure it will." She said with a smile. "Just be gentle and don't use aggressive statements."
Covet: "I'll try not to." he said "How do I make 'I'm disapointed in you' sound non-agressive?" Eli asked her as he walked up to the door to give it a knock. // Tae lifted up her head and looked over to the door. She was confused as to who was coming over, but she didn't assume it'd be here. She got up and walked over to the door, looking out the window next to it to see her Brother and Bliss standing there. Biting the inside of her cheek she opened up the door, "Hi...can I help you?"
Tsaaq: "Just be passive." She kept her hand on Eli's shoulder and went to go up the steps of the porch. "Hey Tae, how was your holiday. We were just coming over to check up on you." Bliss said gently.
Covet: "Yeah." Eli said then gave Tae a wave as she opened the door and Bliss spoke. "Mind if we come in?" // Tae raised an eyebrow, "It was good...I spent most of it working and well, working on things for work." she said answering Bliss then looked at Eli, "Yeah, sure.. I guess?"  Tae opened up the door for them and walked back inside.
Tsaaq: She forced a smile and went to walk in after Eli. "Oh well it's good you kept youself busy." Bliss said as she glanced around the house then went take a seat in the living room.
Covet: "Yeah, that's great. You were missed. Mom's still pretty upset, I think she polished off three bottles of wine in two days time." He said then winced not wanting to guilt Tae, He went to sit down next to Bliss "So, you said you're working then? Adam had mentioned something about it last week."  He told her. // Tae just kind of stood there awkwardly listening to her brother, "Oh, well I'm sure that sucks for them." She mumbled then nodded, "Yeah... It's just this place. Nothing  too extreme." Tae spoke quickly, "Uh, can I get either of you something to drink?"
Tsaaq: She began to frown as she fell silent at her reaction to her parents distress. "I'm fine." Bliss replied quietly as she looked between the two of them. Then lowered her head.
Covet: "Oh.. He did?" Tae said looking slightly sheepish. "What did he say exactly?
Covet: " [DAMMIT!]
Covet: Eli looked at her and crossed his arms, "He told me you were going to be a Stripper at the Doll House. I am hoping he misunderstood." He said eyeing Tae. // "Oh.. I mean, I am but not yet. I'm still learning some of the dancing techniques. So currently I'm working on my own costumes. The owners were really excited to see me do some sexy cosplay armor stuff." Tae said animated, then saw Bliss lower her head. "You okay Bliss?"
Tsaaq: She cleared her throat and shook her head. "Oh yes. I'm fine." Bliss answered. She furrowed her eyebrows at Eli as she pinched his arm. "Asterisk: Exotic dancer." She whispered, trying to keep in the passive mood so nothing escalated too quickly.
Covet: "Sorry, right... Exotic dancer." Eli frowned "But you're actually doing it then. Tae... Are you sure this is what you want to be doing for work?" He asked hoping to get her to think otherwise. // Tae watched them both, then furrowed her brow, "Yes. I do. I get to do my costuming and it makes me happy. I did it all on my own. I wish everyone else could just be happy for me too. Last I checked, It's my life."  She told Eli as she crossed one leg over the other.
Tsaaq: Bliss nodded her head slowly, not trying to interject until she saw Eli's reaction. She cleared her throat as she tucked some of her hair behind her ear. "Make sense." She whispered.
Covet: "But Tae... you're better than that." Eli said "What am I supposed to tell Mom and Dad?" He asked then glanced at Bliss, putting his hand on her knee. // "Tell them whatever you want, or nothing at all. I'm sure Dad doesn't even care. I'm doing what I need to, to survive on my own. It looks fun and I know if it's not for me, I can find something else. I know what I'm getting into, okay? Can't someone just trust me?" She asked looking upset and frustrated. "Bliss you know what it means to be an independent woman, right?"
Tsaaq: (("Al, what are you doing? Why are you bringing me into this?"))
Tsaaq: She listened as the two went back and forth. She released an exasperated sigh. "Um." She paused then nodded her head slowly. "Of course I do." She answered and left it at that as she rose her eyebrows.

Covet: Eli put his head in his hand. "Tae, I do trust you. I'm just disappointed. Any other job would be better than this." // "See, so then you understand where I'm coming from. It's just a job." Tae rubbed the back of her neck, "Would it be less disappointing if I told you that I also have myself registered for school next semester. That means I have a roof over my head and I have a job, I even have a phone so you can contact me. Just.. don't give it to Mom and Dad right now. Maybe Mom..." She said. "But you two for sure."
Tsaaq: Bliss put her hand on his knee. "That's just fine Tae. We just wanted to check in. Make sure you're alright. We'd love to have your new number." She finally spoke up
Covet: Eli went quiet and listened to Tae. He was going to interject but Bliss' hand on his leg stopped him from saying anything more. He pulled his phone out of his pocket. "Yeah, sure...That would be nice to have. I'm glad you have yourself enrolled too. That's very smart of you." // Tae was relieved for Bliss's intervetion, "Thank you. That's the nicest thing you've said all night." She told Eli then said her number aloud for both of them. "I'll let you gusy know if anything bad happens, Okay?"
Tsaaq: She inhaled deeply and stood up after putting in Tae's number. "That's all we ask." She said before going over to her and giving her hugs. "We should be going now though. You know how I get when we drive too late." She turned to Eli.
