Top 5: Most Breakable Gadgets/ Top 5: Reasons not to buy a new computer

While I have heard and read about CNET in the past, this is the first time I have even sat down and watched some of their videos. I was initially disappointed by the fact that I was having a hard time getting any of the videos to load. I had to cycle through over eight videos and in the end had to go to their youtube channel to get the videos to work.

The first Video I was able to actually view was "Top 5: Most Breakable Gadgets". I'm glad I actually was able to see this one because I have been planning on getting a new phone sometime soon, and this Video showed me that some of the current favorites out there like the iPhone 4S and the Galaxy S4 are not very durable, especially compared to their preceding units. For someone clumsy like myself that is a very bad thing and will probably prevent me from purchasing either phone in the future.

After the first video, I expected the second video to be quite informative. Where I expected the video to go into reasons to enhance what you can already do with your current computer, the entire video was seemingly dedicated to making computers seem old and outdated. It focused on how new things like smart TV's and smart phones are what everyone should focus on and only paid some lip service to people that actually use their computers by telling them just to do slight upgrading to their current rigs if they were more than five years old.

All in all I have to say I found the CNET site quite underwhelming. The difficulty with running the videos turned me off from exploring more of the site, which could have had more information I would have been interested in. It's a shame that a site that could have very useful information was plagued by such annoying issues.
