- Testing shows that talking in Virtual Reality felt natural,
- the scenario was realistic as well. Introducing yourself,
- offering the pills and getting the actual medicine felt like
- something that could happen in real life. What helped with
- this was how easy it was to find everything in the world.
- There are not many objects to interact with and it is clear
- what is and is not supposed to be touched. The other thing
- was that the patient showed enough human emotions to be
- believable. Users felt intimidated just by the way that
- Stephanie moved in Virtual Reality. When Stephanie talks,
- this effect is amplified and the experience feels even more
- natural. However there are concerns about the patient
- feeling static due to Stephanie not walking around a lot.
- Also there were bugs that very easily broke the immersion,
- such as being able to walk through walls, objects moving in
- unexpected ways or Stephanie’s robot-like animations.
