- Jester: Many bards serve to entertain, and the jester is no different. The jester, however, focuses on entertaining his audience at the expense of others.
- WARNING: JESTER REQUIRES YOU TO ACTUALLY MAKE GOOD POSTS. DM MAY SHUT YOU DOWN IF YOU ARE EXCESSIVELY LAME.
- Level 1:
- Humiliate(CD: 2): The Jester focuses their act on a single target; upon a successful roll, that target suffers a -2 penalty to their roll for the next round. DM may grant additional bonus depending on the quality of the jest.
- No one cared who I was until I put on the mask: The Jester gains a unique mask/bell cap that grants them a +2 bonus against mind-altering effects. Additionally, common bards will gain a -2 penalty when trying to countersong the jester.
- Level 2:
- Counterjest: A Jester's countersong becomes advanced in the fact that it actually insults the caster. The check is made the same, however, if the caster loses the check, they suffer a penalty to the DM's discretion. (Possibilities are: Roll penalty, Crowd intervention, and spell reflection.)
- Level 3:
- Hat Trick(CD: 4): A Jester may use their hat to pull out a unique, albeit random effect. For the most part, things removed from the jester's cap are used to distract, fascinate, or help insult the enemy.
- Inspiring Quip: Upon dodging a successful attack or witnessing an enemy goof up, if the cooldown of Humiliate is open, the Jester's humiliate ability may be used automatically, gaining a +4 bonus to the jest and a penalty depending on their mess-up.
- Level 4:
- Mockery: The Jester has sharpened their tongue, allowing them to target up to two targets with their humiliate. Additionally, they may suffer more severe penalties depending on their performance.
- (CD: 6): The Jester may humiliate the entire enemy team.
- Level 5:
- Tomfoolery: A Jester may select a single target to taunt. The target taunted may be humiliated at any time by the jester, with stacking penalties upon them as they're forced to focus on the jester. The crowd may additionally intervene at random intervals, tossing tomatoes or other such devices to mock the target. Tomfoolery cannot have multiple targets. (CD: 10)
