In the morning, you smell a charred scent coming from the hotel kitchen. If you explore there, you will find HAGAKURE YASUHIRO's still cooking body on the spit in the large rotisserie oven along with a few other hunks of what appears to be beef on the other spits. His shirt and jacket had been removed, leaving him shirtless. An open bottle of barbecue sauce is next to oven on a counter. Whoever had been using it last wasn't at all careful. If you wait for the oven and the body to cool down, it appears that Hagakure had been hit on the side of the head with something - presumably the bloodied steel tenderizer that laid in the sink still. On his body, there are very thin charred marks that criss-crossed his body like thin threads.

If you look behind the meat cooler, there's are 20 crumpled and empty bottles of water along with a pair of discarded rubber gloves laying on the ground. The ground is wet and it appears someone had unplugged the meat cooler and stripped it of its wires.

You find Hagakure's clothes shoved haphazardly in a drawer with a ripped page from a cookbook tucked in it. The words beef have been crossed out sharply.

4-5 pound beef brisket
Salt
1-2 Tbsp olive oil
3 large onions, sliced
5-6 garlic cloves, minced
1 sprig thyme
1 sprig rosemary
3-4 bay leaves
2 cups of beef stock
2-3 large carrots, peeled and cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
1 Tbsp mustard (optional)

On the island counter in the kitchen, you find all of these ingredients already prepared in small bowls except for the meat. Was someone particularly hungry?

On the back is a code written in pen:
[ ABA AB BABA A ]

Examination of Hagakure's back will find you these marks. It seems they were made before he was put into the oven by some sort of knife, possibly the one in the sink with the tenderizer. The o's represent what seems like thin stabs and the x's are x shaped cuts.

The words: [ I JUST WANTED TO BE A ] are scratched in a similar fashion on the front of the body.

In the other rooms, the vents to the halls are sealed to prevent the scent from escaping the kitchen - especially the boy's restroom and the arcade. The girl's restroom and the hall with the rooms are not blocked. A fan is set up in the girl's restroom and is on, the window is also propped open.
