Journal 5 Entry 1

I am back in Gotham but it’s not the Gotham I was introduced to at the start of my journey. Still despite being a little different its home…  Well kind of.

This place is different and so am I, Here I AM A GENIUS, the smartest one among the bat family. Thank you, power-up from the new world. It feels good to not be the dumb brute anymore. Then again with my new perspective looking back at it maybe I never was. If I truly were as average as I thought I was I doubt I would have made it here. Still my mind feels like it’s on fire as new ideas and possibilities emerge at a moment’s notice.

Anyways enough about me, before my head gets too big; I don’t want to become like Luthor. Today was an eventful day.

I got to embarrass both Batman and Robin a bit today. I gave them a big hug when I first awoke because I had missed both of them. Even if they weren’t the versions I remembered on my journey they were very similar. They didn’t understand when I said I had missed them but I explained myself at first they were incredulous then I showed them my powers and my warehouse. Robin asked me if I had robbed fort Knox or something when he saw how much money I had. I explained I had founded Amazon in another world. He said yeah that explained it.

Batman was much more interested in pictures and mementoes asserting that I had things from Shrek but that was fictional. I explained I didn’t know. He was going to ask more questions but of course duty called Mr. Freeze was going on a rampage. Batman explained that we would talk more about this but for now don’t mention it to anyone else and don’t use the new powers if I could avoid it.

After that Robin and I had been invited to the Hall of Justice apparently with a few other sidekicks. We hoped it was a step closer to joining. There wasn’t much more opportunity to discuss my current situation. It was a big day for us, Robin was excited. My brain was still sorting things out so I wasn’t as excited.

It was great to meet the other sidekicks, I was surprised to find Igniculus There; apparently he was the sidekick of Zatara, who by the way wasn’t present. Iggy went by Lux here or Nicholas. Is it me or has he gotten very cute? Anyways I was relieved he was here.

Sadly the relief and the greatness kind of ended there.  It turns out this invite was a glorified back stage pass to a place as it turns out that wasn’t even the leagues real headquarters.

Speedy, Green Arrow’s sidekick (Don’t ask me why he is named that) threw a fit and stormed out.

During our visit two emergencies came in, the first was a small fire at Cadmus, which is a place Batman wanted to investigate but then Zatara called in, some guy was going to blot out the sun and he needed the full leagues help. Don’t ask me why someone would blot out the sun, even a vampire would be messing with their food source if they did that. Sometimes Supervillians have flimsier logic that what I found in the last world that operated on Action movie tropes.

Anyways the Leaguers took off telling us to stay put… yeah right.

So we wound up deciding to investigate Cadmus because of course we did. So we were headed for clone central… Well as it turns out this worlds Cadmus was a lot more ambitious than the one I knew; they were breeding an army of strange creatures called Genomorphs, weird looking things that had powers like Super Strength, Claws and Telepathy.

Let me just say when I read the last one was when I realized we were right fucked. I asked Iggy or Lux as he was known then if he had any spells to protect us from telepathy. He said he had trained to protect his own mind. I asked if he had anything that would protect us… he didn’t.

We also found some project Kr. Robin really wanted to find out what it was; I realized he wasn’t going to leave it alone. I know how he is when he gets that way so I tried to herd everyone in to getting down there and get out before someone down here messed with our minds.

So we fought and ran our way down to level 52, which was quite a feat because… well let’s just say we didn’t know each other and teamwork wasn’t coming naturally. Kid Flash in particular liked to run ahead (When he wasn’t hitting on me). Anyways we make it down to level 52, we make it to project Kr and… We found Superman clones, two of them.

One I didn’t recognize but one of them had a chain around his neck with a Pacman charm. I immediately recognized him as the Arcade Machine that had given me such trouble in the last world. I said “OH no.” immediately which everyone except Lux misinterpreted as a response to finding Superman clones.

We found out they were 16 weeks old and made from Superman’s DNA. So we released them… I say that reluctantly in the case of the Arcade Machine. I was honestly afraid, I barely was able to handle him in the other world and now he had Kryptonian Biology. He came with me because of respect… I thought.

Anyways we released them… And then we were attacked. The unknown clone attacked Robin, Kid Flash and Aqualad. I can’t tell you much about how that went; we got attacked by the former Arcade Machine.

HOLY SHIT fighting Kryptonians are unfair, that damn thing walked through everything we threw at it with a grin, He slapped away Lux with a backhand like he was nothing, putting him out before getting in to fighting stance.

I don’t know how long I fought him, it felt like hours but probably was only a few minutes. I was using defensive martial arts trying to redirect the force of his strikes. Have I mentioned Kryptonians being unfair yet? I swear it took everything I had not to be squished like a bug. I understand why Bruce carries around the Kryptonite all the time now.

I had given up on hurting him; I was just trying to buy time to think of something. Unfortunately there were two of them and I broke a cardinal rule of combat by not paying attention to both enemy combatants. So I got smacked from the side of the head by the other clone. I was a bit woozy on the floor then someone kicked me in to a wall and I lost consciousness.

I woke up with a terrible headache with someone shouting in my head to wake up. I found I was in a pod next to the rest of the team who were each in separate pods. The two clones of superman were standing there looking at us, the one was confused but the former arcade machine seemed to be admiring his work.

We tried to get the sane clone to turn and help us out. Since it seemed he wasn’t in control of his actions at the time he attacked us. It looked like it might be working but the guy in charge of the place came in (I am shocked it wasn’t Waller) with some small creature he ordered the clones to leave and return to their pods, it looked like he was controlling them with the small creature because the former arcade machine fought it like hell. Eventfully he seemed to relent and they left.

They began a process of cloning us which meant nothing good was going to happen. I trusted the super hearing of the Arcade machine and asked if he wanted to spend the rest of his life with people telling him what to do and who to fight.

It was almost comical the short amount of time it took for that door to be torn open like it was made of paper instead of 6 inch thick steel. The former Arcade Machine charged in like a beast, he wasn’t grinning any more.

Both clones fought the forces the Scientist had brought. Apparently Superboy as we found out the other clone was named had been inspired to want to be like superman and so he was trying to be heroic.

The scientist escaped and once everyone else was down so did we.

At that point I’ve had enough and there were monsters starting to swarm us so I said screw it and got everyone together and teleported us to the roof.

We sent a message of to the league and thought it was a day. However I swear here comes the scientist guy who runs the place shouting “I am not going to let you go”.

He drank something that was in a test tube and in retrospect I really should have stopped that as he hulked out. I was going to throw a sleeping spell but everyone ran forth to start fighting him.

Well notHulk was incredibly strong even matching the former Arcade machine in strength but we managed to work together to put him down.  Also I found out if someone is too hyped up like on some super steroid that turned them in to the incredible hulk a sleeping spell isn’t going to do shit, just too much adrenaline in the system.

Anyways the league came… Batman was pissed with us and said this wouldn’t happen again, everyone else made a case that yeah it would; we had become a team down there and done good work with what our mentors had taught us.

Now I don’t prescribe to the Godbat’s theory that he has everything planned but this sure as hell worked out well for him as he mysteriously relented and we are going to be a team now doing missions he gives us. Anyways yeah I am part of my second super group. I am still not sure to do with the former arcade machine. We wound up calling him Pacman because of his necklace. A few people didn’t think that was a good name but he spoke up for the first time saying that it was fine.




Journal 5 Entry 2

Another eventful day, I hope things aren’t always so exciting. We saw the new headquarters today. It looks good. I think it will serve our purposes well. I can already spot some things I would like to improve but that is just the tinkerer in me (a new aspect from this life).

We also got another team member; our little team is getting kind of big. Miss Martian, Martian Manhunter’s Niece joined the team. I can’t really say much about her, she seems very new to earth and to boundaries with her Telepathy. Other than that she seemed very friendly. It’s been a while since I had a girl-friend it might not be bad. Also it’s someone else for Kid Flash to hit on, which is an added relief.

Since Martian Manhunter was here Batman had him check my memories of the other world. Martian Manhunter seemed rather confused by what he saw but acknowledged they were legitimate. Since I informed them that Lux and Pacman were also fellow dimensional travelers, Lux got the same treatment and didn’t seem to mind. Pacman declined it. It was decided not to press him.

Speaking of Lux … well he asked me if I wanted to see a trick I said sure and he pulled a bouquet of flowers out of nowhere and gave them to me. It was very sweet I thanked him for it. I can’t help but wonder if maybe he has feelings for me. I am not sure how I feel about that.

Anyways the league appointed Red Tornado to live here and keep an eye on us. Considering he did nothing to help us when we fought our first Super villain as an actual team, I am guessing he one who believes in letting us solve our own problems. Maybe that’s for the best.


Journal 5, Entry 5

Well I got it today, after more false starts than I care to count. I got the Kryptonite I was trying to get. I can understand that it being weakness of the world’s greatest protector, it would be tough to come by. I think I actually had to outbid Lex Luthor or something as the damn thing was stupidly expensive.

Anyways with my new Kryptonite I got a bonus talk with Batman, it was like a free gift that comes extra with a purchase like that. He was not so happy I was getting it and was probably thinking about taking it away until I made it clear I needed it to be able to control Pacman should he decide to go on a rampage.

He had seen my journals there was quite a bit about Pacman in there. We tried to kill each other more times than I can count and now that he is part Kryptonian, This is the best option on stopping him if I have to. I mean I haven’t figured out how to get my solar energy extractor down to a portable size and unlike the normal superman he is somewhat resistant to magic so this was the best choice.

So I got to keep it, Batman told me to be careful with it. Apparently he doesn’t exactly trust Pacman either.



Journal 5, Entry 7

Ugh… first real mission today. I thought things were going to be alright until Robin asked who the leader was going to be and Batman threw it back at us like a hand grenade that it was for us to figure out.

So we got Robin and Kid Flash in a leadership measuring contest… I’ll just call it that instead. Pacman doing whatever the fuck he wants because if there is no leader no one can tell him what to do and Lux bless his heart pushing for me to be the leader… which with this group I absolutely did not want to do.

We were supposed to do reconnaissance. The shipment of venom (this temporary strength enhancing drug, Like super PCP) had been cut off at the source and they were stockpiling it at the factory where it was made. Kid flash was the first to screw up but not the last. Pacman since our cover had been blown decided punching things would make everything better. We met up with Bane because of course we did. Honestly I wanted to turn the bastard in to a frog remembering dealing with him in another world. Everyone’s like no we can’t just frog people like that… So we wind up working with him.

We found out that the cult of Cobra had taken over the factory and were now making a Super Venom by combining it with the chemical that Scientist in our first adventure used to turn in to the hulk, which would give a person permanent super strength and disfigurement.

Anyways we found out they were going to sell the stuff to one private buyer. We try to wait and find out who that is. Wait for it… Bane betrays us because if we all die it will be enough to bring the Justice League who will clear out his factory for him. Unfortunately I was a bit busy trying to help save everyone to frog the bastard.

Anyways things have officially gone sideways, we manage to pull together as a team, Robin acknowledges Aqualad as leader because it became pretty obvious he was the one best suited for it. I feel like I dodged a bullet there. While I have lead kingdoms I don’t think I am suited to leading this group.

Anyways we find out that it’s Sportsmaster who is the buyer. We disrupt things. I actually animated the Helicopter so it would attack for us. We caught pretty much everyone except the head of Cobra. Who managed to slip away. Lux actually used my sleep spell to take out a large number of combatants. I didn’t get to frog Bane sadly. So yeah we have a new leader. Our teamwork seems to be improving and despite being a dick Pacman hasn’t killed anyone… yet. I would call it a successful mission



Journal 5, Entry 11

So Superboy has been more aggravated than usual. It’s likely something to do with his relationship with Superman, however I feel bad for him. With Pacman around he really doesn’t have a role. He isn’t the strongest, he can’t fly like Pacman. He has had it tough.

I asked him if he would like help and after being told no, less that politely I might add a few times. He finally grudgingly agreed. There are some ground rules though. I can’t tinker with his genetics, I can’t pump him full of chemicals, no cybernetics and bulky power armors are out too. The last one I thought was really promising but he refused.

So here is my plan. I have already gotten samples of Miss Martian’s biosuit. I have also gotten samples of Superboy’s DNA. It is understandable that he would have troubles now knowing that he is only half Kryptonian. I am also using some of my Kung Fu mutated DNA as one of the chosen ones of the last world.

I guess I am doing the super science equivalent of throwing a lot of stuff against the wall and seeing what sticks. Either I will successfully create a super suit or a new supervillain. On that note I am trying to keep it from becoming any more intelligent than an animal and making sure it can only bond with Superboys particular DNA.



Journal 5, Entry 16

Today was… well it was a rough day. I can’t sum it up better than that. We were on a mission things were going well one moment. Then we start losing contract with people. They just disappeared, first was Kid Flash, then Robin both who were scouting things. Miss Martian felt them just vanish from her Telepathy.

We didn’t know if they were dead or just unconscious so we went to investigate. I was expecting a trap and damn if I wasn’t right. We get jumped by a bunch of D Listers like Kite Man, Snowflame and Condiment King each wielding devices specifically targeted to our weaknesses.

Condiment King had a Kryptonite flavored ketchup gun. Kite man’s kite was armed with flamethrowers and had some protection built in to his suit against Telepathy and Telekinesis. Snowflame had Nth metal woven in to his suit so he could walk through Lux’s magic.

And there was some Young woman there dressed like a Fox that I squared off with me taking a familiar stance. It was the same one as my own. Her eyes burned with hatred and we fought. She was armed with gadgets comparable to mine as well as a bit of magic. She knew my moves well. Every trick I threw at her she had a counter waiting. She managed to back me in to a corner. Things looked grim for a bit, I had to go for a long shot. I threw a Birdarang at the Fox lady, she dodged but it just happened clip the line supplying Condiment King’s Ketchup gun.

Pacman was the first to react as he grabbed Condiment king and threw him in to Snowflame hard enough to take both out of the fight for a minute. With that lux recovered and blinded Kite man.

Now with the rest of the team free the Fox Lady saw things were going against her and escaped in a boomtube.

We were able to capture her associates but they didn’t know anything, they were just given a suitcase of money and new gadgets to attack us. They were paid enough not to ask questions.

This little attack means someone knows us all very well and is targeting us. They also managed to find out where we were going to be. So that means there is an information leak.

I am not sure who the Fox Lady is but I’ll bet every cent I have that we are going to have to deal with her again. There is just no way to look at this that isn’t bad



Journal 5 Entry 18

So we were supposed to have a day at the beach. It was a nice thought and honestly I needed a break. I’ll admit the encounter with the fox girl rattled me a bit.

I was looking forward to relaxing with the rest of the team except for Wally who had school.

Things were going good I was just relaxing; I didn’t feel particularly like doing anything, well Lux came over to relax with me. That was fine. We talked a bit about our adventures in the last world. It’s funny as crazy as they were then I can’t help but smile looking back on it. He suggested maybe what I was going through right now was like that something I would look back on fondly.

Then somehow the conversation turned to the awkwardness of having to explain to him the crack about making an honest woman out of me and me having to explain what they meant.  We both had a laugh about that, and then he said something that hit me like a ton of bricks. “Would it really be so bad?” he said. He then clarified. Would it really be so bad to be in a relationship with him? It got hard to breath honestly.

He went on to say that I was the most amazing person that he had ever met and that he hadn’t known what it was last world because the feelings were so new in this form but he had feelings for me.

You know it’s not fair when you’re supposed to be a genius yet your brain blanks out when you need it most.

I stammered I probably blushed. I honestly didn’t know how I felt. I mean I cared for him. I even loved him but I don’t know if it was that way. I managed to get that out. He nodded, he seemed… disappointed but accepted it. He went back and I think was consoled by Robin and Superboy. They had probably helped him get up the courage to do it.

I felt like a complete ass. I probably deserved to.

Anyways our beach trip got cut short because we had a mission. We got a new teammate with the mission Artemis. I am glad to have more girls on the team.  Anyways I tried to throw myself in to the mission. The mission had two parts. For one part we had to protect a scientist that they had forced to make a super weapon for (a nanotech weapon that disintegrated anything). Part 2 was to prevent them from using this super weapon to steal data at various places.

It was a rough mission; I’ll admit maybe I wasn’t at my best. The new girl had a rough time but in the end we kept the scientist alive and she made a virus to destroy the super weapon before they could get whatever they wanted from Wayne Tech. They may have gotten data from a few places before that but overall it was a success.

Through the mission and after it Lux was quiet he is keeping his distance. I am not sure what I should have said but apparently what I said wasn’t it.



Journal 5, Entry 21

So today was an interesting day…
Today I tested the a prototype of the suit I was making for Superboy. I have dubbed it a symbiote as it is a symbiotic lifeform created through a combination of many different types of DNA including my own. I had already tested Symbiotes on plants which showed no ill effects. In fact they seemed to improve the rate of growth, likely a side effect of improved Photosynthesis.

I had acquired a ribbit I named bugs. Bugs is a male grey and white rabbit that is about 5 months old. It was actually kind of nice as this is the first time I really had a pet.

I was actually kind of reluctant to do the test after getting him because I didn’t want to risk hurting him, however all the simulations showed it shouldn’t.

I had him partially sedated because I wouldn’t want some going substance wrapping around me without my understanding.

Sadly I underestimated how much He didn’t like it. Even sedated he kicked and hopped and scratched within the protective containment unit.

The Symbiote bonding with him took the stress to mean they were under attack and soon he was kicking and scratching with the force of a full grown Kryptonian if not more so.

The containment unit was built to handle a rabbit with Superhuman strength or even Kryptonian strength, but somehow he tore it apart in moments and with flight and super speed crashed around my lab destroying things like a pinball.

Hearing the noise of course the rest of the team would seek to open the door to the room. I had it locked but they pried it open before I could tell them not too. Bugs seeing the open door escaped.

Trying to catch him lead to a merry chase around the Cave. Everyone trying to catch something as strong and as fast as a Kryptonian. I am not sure who destroyed more stuff Bugs or the rest of the team trying to catch him. Thankfully no one was hurt. Eventually I figured out chasing Bugs was just making him run so I got everyone to back off.

Eventually things calmed down. People went about their business cleaning up and after about a half hour Bugs came flying out and landed on my head. I petted him to keep him calm and very carefully put him back in his cage. Which was where I figured he would be most comfortable.

Unfortunately I figured out the Symbiote had bonded to Bugs to such an extent that trying to separate them would cause undo trauma and likely lead to another round of him destroying everything. The Justice League was less than happy to hear about my antics. I am no longer allowed to work with Kryptonian DNA without prior approval of the league.

 Bugs is allowed to stay with me because he is my pet and seems happy with me. However he will be under observation of the League here to make sure I am able to handle such a pet. So I am building him a special cage at my own expense. Speaking of expense I had to pay for everything that was broken in the cave as well.












Journal 5 Entry 23

So Lux is finally talking to me again, more like normal. There is still some tension there but it’s something at least.  It was rough when he was being distant. He was my best friend and confidant. I didn’t realize just how much I relied on him. Maybe that’s why I am so reluctant to get in to a relationship with him. I mean I am not stellar at relationships; my only one was as a rebound with the first world’s Nightwing… and while it was fun while it lasted I don’t really think it was serous. It’s been 40+ years on my journey which is scary to think about and I have been alone most of it. Maybe that’s just how I am meant to be… alone.


Journal 5 Entry 30

I’m tired… It was a long day. We were supposed to do some simulated Mission. Martian Manhunter linked all our minds and created a scenario. Apparently it was supposed to be one of those unwinnable by design missions to see how we would do. We weren’t told that of course… It was stupid whatever you say.

Anyways things were going along, Aliens invaded, the Justice League was toast. We were doing our best despite everything going bad. Then Superboy dies in the simulation, Miss Martians powers go nuts and suddenly we forget we are in a simulation.

I should mention the victims were completely disintegrated so there was no hope of saving or reviving them.

Things got worse, people died. The whole time something was screaming at me in my mind that this was wrong things shouldn’t be happening like this. I was too busy trying to keep everyone alive. I was terrified of dying again. I know the thing about heroes being fearless in the face of death is a load of crap but I really didn’t want to die.

Anyways we found Martian Manhunter, I am going crazy because I am trying to think of some way to prove this is real. I mean we saw something disintegrate superman. Darkside can’t even do that. So I had lux do a few spells to check the integrity of the world they came back they were fine… I finally told him yeah but do it with no expectations just see the results. He tried to explain that’s not how magic works I got him to figure out something, anyway the results were weird as fuck.

I figured out we were trapped in some sort of mentally created world and explained that. I was trying to think how to break out and Martian Manhunter says he remembered something and promptly shoves his hand through Miss Martians chest. Everyone wakes up… everything is fine. Mentally I feel exhausted. I was so terrified of losing people, especially Lux. The time when he was distant from me showed how much I relied on him, I just don’t know what I would do if I lost him.



Journal 5, Entry 33

Maybe it’s because the encounter with the Fox woman had rattled me more than I would like to think. I had been trying to track her down. I was trying to find some trace of her but she was like a ghost. Like someone who never existed before they just showed up that day.

I combed through everything I could think of even down to her rather large breast size (I am an F Cup and she was about as big as me and if you do the type of combat we did that takes special bras to not be uncomfortable as hell. It was not as wild a place to check as one would think).

Anyways as thorough as I was at trying to find her there was nothing.  Until today, an underworld contact that I had made a while ago contacted me. I had used them putting out some feelers looking for information on this individual and they had apparently found something. Apparently they were spreading a lot of money around Gotham looking to hire people.

I went to meet with the contact. I did the usual scare the shit out of them by just appearing like Batman because it keeps them on edge… and it’s kind of fun.

Anyways things seem to be going good until I notice The HUD in my mask starts to screw up. I go to check it and catch an energy blast that sends me flying into a wall.

I try to get up. I can’t. I can’t move. The ray must have had a paralysis effect to it. The Fox Lady appears out of nowhere I guess she had some sort of cloaking device and I realize how screwed I am. It turns out I have been double crossed I guess as she hands my contact a suitcase presumably filled with money or knows what. He thanks her and says it was a pleasure doing business with her and she motions for him to leave which she does.

So she walks over to me with the same hateful look and takes off her mask and suddenly everything makes a lot more sense. It’s my face looking down at me. Apparently she is a clone, I should have seen it coming.

She takes out some sort of mini lightsaber like energy knife and looks kneels down to start carving me up presumably. I am trying to prepare myself because I don’t see a way out of this. A lot of things pass through my mind, it turns out I have a lot of regrets.

Just before the energy blade touches my face there is a familiar voice casting a spell and a flash of light and she goes flying.

Lux is there somehow. He shouts to me to hold on and that help was coming as he continues to try and blast my clone that is dodging and throwing stuff back at him. Soon some of the team shows up and chases her off.

He knelt down and cradled me just as I was slowly beginning to get back the ability to move. He told me he felt I was in danger and somehow sensed where to go.  My heart was pounding. I honestly don’t know if it was being in his arms or the near death experience I had just had maybe both.

A few things were clear to me at that moment. First of all I was tired of being alone. Its funny but coming so close to death made me realize just how lonely I had been. Friends were wonderful but I needed more in my life. Another thing I realized was that I needed Lux in that moment. Clumsily at first I wrapped my arms around him and managed a slurred “Thank you.”

Eventually I regained my ability to move, Lux was almost reluctant to let me go. Things seemed to be ok I was taken by my own request to a back-up facility we had for medical exams. Sure enough I was radiating some trackable energy. My clone was a real pain in the ass. It took some time to wear off. I got checked out to make sure everything else was ok.

Later that night after things calmed down… I paid Lux a visit. Privately we discussed how we felt, what I realized and one thing led to another and we wound up making love.

I have a boyfriend now. It’s strange to write but I am happy, maybe more so than in a long time. I don’t know how this will turn out but I am happy now and I guess that’s all I can ask for. Oh also note to self; track down the bastard who double crossed me and get my money back.


Journal 5, Entry 37


Today… was not a good day.  Zatanna was visiting. I was happy for Lux because they are very good friends, her father being his mentor. They are almost like adopted brother and sister. Zatara had brought her by to hang out.

One minute things were fine, the next every Adult in the world disappeared. Things went a little crazy from there as we were trying to gather up the kids to make sure they were taken care of with the sudden disappearance of the Adults.

Later we find out through Captain Marvel who is apparently only 10 years old that there are two worlds, one with the Adults and the one we are in. He could travel between them through his adult and child form.

Zatanna and Lux worked together on a locator spell. We find out where it is and run in to Klarion the witch boy a lord of Chaos… So yeah we are getting our butts handed to us, at the same time the few members of the justice league are fighting some adult magicians working with him.

Well Zattana gets desperate and puts on the helmet of Dr. Fate becoming Dr. Fate. Now I haven’t talked much about the helm but you put it on and if you’re magically inclined you’re permanently possessed by Nabu a lord of order, who is a dick besides being a lord of order and won’t let go.

Anyways we manage to beat Klarion and the league stops the magicians helping him. The worlds rejoin and there is just the problem of now Zatanna is possessed by Nabu.

Not Surprisingly Zatara offered himself up in trade to free his daughter. So now Zatanna has joined the team but is rightfully depressed. Lux is very down too. I have done what I could to cheer him up but I haven’t had much luck. It sucks seeing him like this.

I have promised to do what I can to free his mentor from Nabu. To that end I am actually starting to learn this world’s magic from him.  There has got to be some loophole or something I can use to fix this.


Journal 5, Entry 42

Small note I finally got ahold of the bastard that backstabbed me. I got my money back and he’ll be walking funny for a while… also I doubt any future kids for him unless they are adopted. I also got him sent to prison.

Anyways I am initiating the plan I have to take down my clone and whoever she is working for. The plan is simple. I am going to capture my clone and replace her. I am going to gather whatever info I can then skip out.

To this end I am having Zatanna and Lux do a locator spell on her. She tells me it’s tricky on people but since she is basically identical to me we should be able to find her.

Journal 5 Entry 45

We did it. I found my clone and we quietly took her down. She fought like hell but we managed to take her down as a team and this is my last entry for a while. Well  there is no small danger, I have already said my goodbyes to the team, especially Lux. I feel like crap for doing this to him. I know he is going to worry but This is a chance to find out what is really going on.


Journal 5 Entry 46

OK I am back and alive! Wow, ok so a lot happened I found out that my clone was working for a group of Super villains calling themselves the light. Lex Luthor had taken her as sort of a protégé. I kind of needed a shower after finding that out.

The members of the light are pretty much the usual suspects I am only amazed they haven’t turned on each other… yet. I helped with that though as I’ll explain later

Wow, I found out who the mole is in our group… poor Red Arrow. I have to tell him not only is he an unwitting mole but he is a clone too. I have the latest location of the real speedy. Sometimes this job sucks.

I managed to make it so it looks like they were betraying each other or in the case of certain people like Lex make it easier to expose. I half covered it up but those people are paranoid and smart. I don’t see the light lasting much longer.

I officially have been captured in a stroke of bad luck for the villains. I have already given my reports now I am going to go spend some more quality time with Lux.

As for how all this is going to end we will wait for them to turn on each other and the League will clean it up.


Journal 5 Entry 50

The light has gone out. The sad Illuminati knockoff is no more and wow super villains get nasty when they find out they are betrayed. I hear the league of assassins is after Lex who has publicly disappeared. Ras Al Ghol apparently didn’t appreciate being betrayed. It seems some of their muscle like Sports master and Cheshire have gone rogue not wanting to get caught up in the fallout. Other villains have gone dark.

A group of friends broke the news to Red Arrow who was devastated. He denied it until he was shown proof. The poor guy he helped retrieve the original Speedy who is just a kid… He took it worse. Apparently they took one of his arms for material to make a clone. It’s sad and I have offered to help regrow an arm for him.

Sadly I think this is just one of those things that is going to take time to sort out. Some times for all my powers there is nothing I can do.
