  1. Hi, thanks for tuning in. This is a statement by me, Bucky Grant, originally published on Twitter on August 11th, 2020. I will include a link to the original tweet in the description, as well as a link to a new tweet with an updated transcript.
  2. I recently went back and listened to the first two episodes Clever Telling and I recorded on the 2013 Disney movie, Frozen, and released in January of this year. Despite the content warnings we put at the beginning and our disclaimers before some of the jokes we made, I found myself deeply uncomfortable with the content of the episodes. For me to feel this way only six months after the episode aired is deeply troubling to me, so I have pulled the episodes from our RSS feed and YouTube channel, and anywhere else they appear.
  3. I do believe that a healthy separation between fiction and reality is an important mindset to cultivate and a skill to develop. However, I also believe that the art I make should not be inflammatory or offensive in such a way that hurts more people than it helps. I want to apologize for any hurt that was caused by these episodes, and want to clearly state that I do not believe that wanting two women who are sisters to be in a relationship is funny or appropriate. I don’t think there’s an explanation that could make up for any hurt that was caused by these jokes, but I want to make it clear I regret making these statements.
  4. This is an addition that I have added as of today, August 19th, 2020. This addition is because I posted this statement to Twitter, but not to our RSS feed. If you noticed the episodes were removed but did not see our statement on Twitter, I apologize. Removing the episodes was not intended to hide the fact that I consider my actions to have been wrong.
  5. Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed Will it Homestuck, and I hope I get to keep making funny and insightful content for and with you all.
