  1. Hey guys, local writefag again (same guy who wrote the first couple of stories on the NTT Pastebin). Trying another story, gonna see how that works.
  2. ===
  3.
  4. >Night in Ponyville.
  5. >9 months, 2 weeks, and 6 days, according to Twilight.
  6. >She liked to remind you every day, you just figured it was a sort of verbal tic she had.
  7. >Just last month you had 'sealed the deal' with the Alicorn, and had 'reconfirmed' it several times since then.
  8. >Despite her public appearance, she was a very, very naughty pony in private.
  9. >The Black Iron ring sitting on your nightstand was testament to that.
  10. >To other pony types, it meant nothing.
  11. >To unicorns? It was essentially bondage gear. Black Iron was made of specially treated ferrous materials that simply blocked the flow of magic.
  12. >Made them nice and submissive.
  13. >Twilight was a kinky one, seeing as it was her that had suggested it.
  14. >You chuckled in the dark room, rolling over to stare out the window.
  15. >The night was clear, and it was a full moon.
  16. >Twilight was sure to be pissed she was missing this.
  17. >So far, the only actual comfortable nights were when you were sleeping with Twilight.
  18. >Last night and tonight were not those nights, seeing as she was away for 'official Canterlot Business', and you weren't allowed to tag along.
  19. >To be fair, none of her friends were there either.
  20. >Even Spike was left behind, apparently this was a very urgent and private matter.
  21. >Sighing, you rolled back over.
  22. >Tonight sucked, but Twilight would be back tomorrow.
  23. >You closed your eyes and settled into an uneasy sleep.
  24. ===
  25. >Stupid meetings.
  26. >So boring, and so pointless.
  27. >You loved Celestia to death, and highly respected both elder Alicorns.
  28. >Listening to the council though...
  29. >Sweet Tartarus could they just TALK.
  30. >The first two hours, you were listening with rapt attention.
  31. >The next EIGHT hours? Not so much.
  32. >Even you had limits.
  33. >You were pretty sure there was a point you actually dozed off for a few minutes.
  34. >They were going over things such as the budget, guard pay, the next Gala location (not that it ever left the city), things that didn't interest or even affect you much.
  35. >Well, maybe the Gala did, but you (plus one) were guaranteed a spot anyway.
  36. >Anon wanted to tag along for this? He was better off at home.
  37. >Your stomach growled, and you made a detour through the dining hall to find something to at least munch on.
  38. >You silently wondered if it would be a faux pas to order a small side of fish.
  39. >Anon had you try it once, and it...wasn't bad, admittedly.
  40. >You had even done some research, eating it wouldn't hurt you any.
  41. >Luna's Night Guard were stationed all around, which made sense as it was currently...12:43 AM.
  42. >Anon was probably tossing and turning in bed, uncomfortable.
  43. >You knew how he could get.
  44. >You sat at a bench, waiting for the waiter to notice you.
  45. >Only a few seconds passed before he trotted over, notepad in his teeth.
  46. >The Batpony dropped the pad on the table, quirking an ear in your direction to let you know he was listening.
  47. >Very to-the-point, these guards.
  48. "Just a small salad, with a glass of water."
  49. >If he was expecting a more grandiose order, he hid it well.
  50. >"Very well, it will be out shortly." The gruff pegasus-offshoot replied, taking the notepad back into his teeth and trotting away.
  51. >True to his word, it was less than five minutes before you were happily eating the greens you had ordered.
  52. >You finished up quickly, leaving a nice tip for the waiter.
  53. >Leaving the dining hall, you decided to take a trip around Canterlot.
  54. >It had been quite a while since you had last been here, after all.
  55. >Well, not terribly long. Three months, give or take a day.
  56. >A yawn fought its way out, perhaps you should postpone the self-guided tour.
  57. >Yes, sleep was looking really good right now.
  58. >Turning around, you went to your room.
  59. >Closing the door, a small bit of magic pulled Smarty Pants out of your saddlebag and tossed the doll gently onto the bed.
  60. >You were careful to hide her from the others.
  61. >Someone of your age and status shouldn't still have something like this, but...
  62. >You didn't have your warm human cuddletoy, so you made do.
  63. >...you didn't know what you'd do if Anon found out you still had her.
  64. >Probably mock you.
  65. >Yeah, it would be better to just...leave out the fact you still had a stuffed doll.
  66. >You curled up around Smarty Pants, and quickly fell asleep.
  67. ===
  68. >No use.
  69. >You sat up, cracking your back and standing out of bed.
  70. >You had tossed and turned for the last three hours, unable to actually get a good night's rest.
  71. >That mare had ruined your ability to sleep, you chuckled mirthlessly.
  72. >You'd pay her back with a sleepless night of her own when she came home.
  73. >You went downstairs, into the living room.
  74. >You clicked the lights on and cracked open a book, reading in the small hours of the morning.
  75. >Perhaps you'd find a book so boring it would put your dopey ass to sleep.
  76. >The dictionary was a good start.
  77. --
  78. >Nope, not doing it.
  79. >You had gone through "A" and were halfway through "B" when the sun rose.
  80. >Deciding to get an early start to the day, you made a pot of coffee and breakfast.
  81. >A plate of eggs and some bacon from the local Griffon meat shop, and you were looking at the best breakfast you had the pleasure of eating in months.
  82. >Twilight would always turn her nose up whenever you suggested some sort of pork or beef, due to the cows and pigs being sentient here.
  83. >What she didn't know wouldn't hurt her.
  84. >You did, however, have to eat a double-load of bacon to get rid of the evidence.
  85. >Oh woe is you.
  86. >Stomach full and veins wired with caffeine, you stood and started walking to the train station.
  87. >Twilight's train was due in at 9:15 AM, and it was currently 8.
  88. >It would take you at least an hour to walk to the train station from your home, which made walking a good timesink.
  89. >The walk itself was uneventful, aside from Roseluck needing help carrying some flowers that she had very nearly dropped.
  90. >She was one of those ponies with what Twilight called 'Humanophobia'.
  91. >The mare couldn't call it 'homophobia', for the simple reason that the term already existed here...dated and unused as it was.
  92. >Rose very quietly thanked you as you left though, so you were making progress.
  93. >She used to just retreat into her home and lock the door, waiting until you went away.
  94. >Baby steps.
  95. >Twilight was busy writing a help book for ponies with the condition, though you weren't sure it was needed.
  96. >You were the only one here, after all, and the ponies that didn't want to interact with you simply...didn't, usually.
  97. >Walking up the stairs to the train platform, you leaned against a pillar and waited.
  98. >The train was late, Twilight was probably having a conniption fit right about now.
  99. >Finally, the train pulled up. Twilight stepped out, saddle bag in tow.
  100. >She looked beat, like she hadn't slept well at all the past few days.
  101. "Hey, Twi!"
  102. >The Alicorn looked up, saw you...and quirked an eyebrow?
  103. >She then proceeded down the stairs and onto the road to the library, completely ignoring you.
  104. "Twilight?"
  105. >You were confused.
  106. >Why was she acting like she hadn't even met you before?
  107. >Was she teasing you? Or playing dumb?
  108. >You followed her to the library, the mare disappearing upstairs.
  109. >A few moments of rustling before she came back down, looking the place over.
  110. "Spike and I made sure to keep the library spotless." You fibbed, hoping upon hope that she wouldn't notice the tiny burn mark on the floor from a miss-aligned dragonfire belch.
  111. >You told Spike no fizzy drinks, but he wouldn't listen.
  112. >Twilight's eyes traced right across it, with no reaction.
  113. >Her eyes locked to you, and finally a small smile spread across her face.
  114. >"Hello, Anonymous."
  115. >You arched an eyebrow.
  116. "When did you get so formal with me?" You asked, confusion growing.
  117. >"Apologies, I have to be like this around the Princesses. It'll take me some time to return to normal."
  118. >You nodded slowly.
  119. >If that's all it was...
  120. >You approached the mare and wrapped her in a tight hug, kissing her neck sensually.
  121. >Your reward was a buck to the stomach.
  122. "Ow, hey, what the fuck!?" You shouted, hunching over and clutching your now-upset stomach.
  123. >"Anonymous, don't touch me! What's gotten into you?"
  124. "Gotten into *me*? Did you forget we're dating?"
  125. >Now you were getting upset.
  126. >"Dating? Since when?"
  127. >Was...that the code word for "we're breaking up"?
  128. >Did she meet someone in Canterlot that she liked more than you?
  129. "...fine. If that's how it's gonna be, I hope that cocksucking stallion treats you 'well'." You snarled.
  130. >You stormed out, slamming the door.
  131. >Absolutely furious, you knew the best place to get it out.
  132. >You went home, grabbed your mallet, and made a beeline for the Apple farm.
  133. ===
  134. >Your head was killing you.
  135. >A slight buzz was echoing all around, which caused you to open your eyes.
  136. >Green...slime was obscuring your view.
  137. >You started struggling against the bonds you suddenly realized were there, panic setting in.
  138. >Everything outside of the slime on your eyes was blurry and unclear, and a tall black figure began walking up to you.
  139. >Your blood ran cold as you finally realized where you were.
  140. >A Changeling lair.
  141. >Chrysalis chortled.
  142. >"Poor little Twilight Sparkle, caught up in my web. Your entire family line has been nothing but a thorn in my side, but now..."
  143. >She laughed.
  144. >"I have you. I can't quite decide what to do with you, to be honest."
  145. >The changeling queen looked to the side.
  146. >"I could make you one of the hive, but that's too much risk of rebellion. You're remarkably strong willed, I will give you that."
  147. >"On the other hoof, I could just kill you. That would be too easy though, too quick."
  148. >You struggled again, trying to cast a spell.
  149. >Something on your horn was physically blocking you.
  150. >The bug just laughed again.
  151. >"Cold-forged Black Iron, dear Twilight. No spells."
  152. >You knew well enough what Black Iron did.
  153. >It was naturally anti-magic, used largely by the Griffons.
  154. >You had Anon use a small Black Iron ring on you before, it was one of your long-lived fantasies.
  155. >"Hmm, is that a bit of...love I detect? Mmm, delicious...though I never pegged YOU of all ponies to have such a kink!"
  156. >This was ridiculous.
  157. >You tried to speak, only for a gag made of the same gummy material to block your words completely.
  158. >All that came out was a series of angry mumbles.
  159. >The bug queen laughed again, absolutely thrilled she had you in her trap.
  160. >You couldn't even remember being taken.
  161. >Due to your eidetic memory, this would be something you would recall.
  162. >Did they do this in your sleep?
  163. >Way too fast to take you all the way out into the Badlands in under ten hours.
  164. >Was there a burrow closer, then?
  165. >"I think, instead, I'll have you tortured. Publicly. Drones," you watched Chrysalis gesture to two small black figures near her. "Do what you will, she is alllllll yours."
  166. >She cackled before walking down the twisting tunnels of the changeling burrow.
  167. >Another wave of fear washed over you as the first hoof connected with your rib, blinding pain shooting through you.
  168. >They struck again, and this time the rib cracked.
  169. >You screamed.
  170. ===
  171. "I admit, I might be jumping to conclusions about her cheating on me."
  172. >"Ah dunno sugarcube, she's been acting mighty strange since she got back." Applejack commented between the heavy blows you were delivering to the apple trees.
  173. >The sun was starting to go down, and technically the harvest hours were over.
  174. >AJ though, upon seeing how angry you were, simply let you do what you needed to.
  175. >She had set up buckets beneath each tree before you hit it, no point in wasted effort.
  176. >"Easy there now, don't wanna actually hurt the tree."
  177. >At the moment, you didn't quite care.
  178. >You wound up again and struck the tree, bits of bark flying away from the impact point.
  179. >AJ snatched the mallet from you when you lowered it to breathe.
  180. >"Alright, that's enough." She said sternly, dropping the hammer onto the ground.
  181. "What do you want me to say, AJ?" You asked, anger still evident in your tone. "That all Twilight and I have done was for nothing?"
  182. >Applejack was one of the few who knew about the relationship you and Twilight had, after seeing Twilight sneak you a kiss on the cheek during your break one day.
  183. >The orange Earth Pony also swore to keep it under her hat until you were ready to go public with it.
  184. >You would have chuckled at your own unintentional pun, but you weren't quite in the mood.
  185. >You were ready from day one. Twilight was...apprehensive, but agreed to mention it to ponies before the year was out.
  186. >Now though...
  187. >Now there didn't seem to be a relationship to talk about.
  188. >You picked the mallet back up, and Applejack sighed.
  189. >She quickly placed buckets down under a new tree, and you hit it with a similarly powerful blow.
  190. >"I need ta get ya ta come down here angry more often, Anon. Makes this so much easier." The orange mare joked, trying to get you to calm down.
  191. >"How about this, sugarcube. Dinner's on us tonight, feel free to join us."
  192. "That's generous of you, AJ, but I really need to talk to Twilight about this."
  193. >You sighed.
  194. "Even if we're...over, I still want to know why."
  195. >She nodded, clearly understanding.
  196. >"We're here for ya, Anon. As far as we're concerned, yer an honorary Apple Family member."
  197. >A small smile finally fought its way out.
  198. "Thanks, AJ."
  199. >You left the mallet leaning against the tree. It wasn't going anywhere, and you'd likely be back tomorrow to work out more frustration.
  200. >You started the trek to the Library, thinking over multiple scenarios.
  201. >Short-term amnesia. Took a hit to the noggin, blanking on parts of her memory.
  202. >She didn't care anymore, and simply wanted you to go away by giving you the cold shoulder.
  203. >You had offended her somehow before she left, and this was her getting you back.
  204. >Of the three, only the first and second made any sense.
  205. >Last thing you did before she left was kissed her and told her 'I love you'.
  206. >If that was offensive, then you had no idea what to do.
  207. >You knocked on the library door.
  208. >"Enter." Was the curt reply.
  209. >You did so, pushing the door open and coming face to face with the purple mare herself.
  210. >She wrapped her hooves around your waist.
  211. >"I'm so sorry, Anonymous. I've been so distracted that I've been neglecting my coltfriend." Twilight said, nuzzling your crotch.
  212. >She released you, swaying her hips side to side and flicking her tail teasingly.
  213. >You were still too angry to be turned on by that.
  214. >It was a good attempt though.
  215. >"Mmm, Anonymous, come here..."
  216. >Why did she keep using your full name?
  217. "Twi, wait a second."
  218. >"Aww, Anonymous~!" She whined. "I've been waiting for a year for this, don't make me beg~!"
  219. >Wait.
  220. "How long?"
  221. >"Why, three hundred and fifty days, silly! Don't you remember? Your one year anniversary is soon, we promised tonight would be my..." The fake blushed. "...our first time."
  222. >That did it.
  223. "Okay. Next question, who are you...and what the HELL have you done with Twilight?" You snarled.
  224. >For her part, the imposter looked shocked.
  225. >"Why, whatever do you mean?"
  226. >You grabbed the fake by the throat and slammed her against a nearby bookshelf.
  227. >Books tumbled down on the two of you, but did no lasting harm.
  228. "Nine months. Three Weeks, on the dot." You growled.
  229. "Twilight knows that, she tells me every morning how long I've been here. It's actually SLIGHTLY annoying, but it lets me know she cares."
  230. >The fake weakly tapped at your wrists, before giving up.
  231. >A green aura lit her horn, and you were on your back before you knew it.
  232. >A smoldering hole was in the center of your shirt, and a first degree burn mark was directly below it.
  233. >The door swung open, and she sprinted out, screaming.
  234. >You refrained from giving chase, that's exactly what the imposter wanted.
  235. >Instead, you started looking through the library shelves for an answer.
  236. >You swore Twilight was rubbing off on you more and more every day.
  237. >You grabbed a Bestarium and cracked it open.
  238. "Imposter, imposter, shape shifter, something, c'mon..."
  239. >Imposter directed you to any one of a number of creatures.
  240. >Voice imposters, visual imposters, smell imposters, the list went on.
  241. >Shapeshifter, however, directed you to a creature back in the C section called a Changeling.
  242. >You remembered Twilight very briefly telling you about them, she didn't like to dwell on the subject.
  243. >"Changeling: A being able to mimic a target in almost every way, but oblivious to private information the copied target might have.
  244. >Things like anniversary dates, birthdays, or important sporting events that the target was looking forward to would be 'forgotten'.
  245. >A unicorn target will mysteriously have their magical aura change colors to a lime green, though unicorns with this aura already cannot be identified in this way.
  246. >In addition, there may be personality changes. A rather depressed pony may suddenly be very happy, a knowledgeable one suddenly very dim.
  247. >The only sure-fire way to tell a disguised changeling apart from a regular pony is to get them wet.
  248. >A pony's mane and coat will get soaked, but a changeling's magical illusion will not.
  249. >Changelings also cannot swim, so a sufficiently deep pond can be used for confirmation, though this is not recommended as if the target themselves cannot swim either, you may endanger the wrong pony."
  250. >Good.
  251. >You opened the cabinet, grabbing a glass and filling it with water.
  252. >Stepping out of the library, you were greeted by half of Ponyville, angry and ready to tear you apart.
  253. >Flash Sentry himself was on you in an instant, tackling you and pinning you to the side of the library, hoof on your neck.
  254. >Somehow you managed to hold onto the glass and spill almost nothing.
  255. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold on!"
  256. >The fake Twilight was crying, though you noticed no tears and the corner of her eyes were dry.
  257. >Rainbow Dash and Rarity were flanking her, simply furious.
  258. >Dash was taking every little bit of restraint she had from simply flooring you along with the orange pegasus currently choking you out.
  259. "I think she's a changeling." You rasped, pointing at the mare.
  260. >"Oh yeah right!" A pony called.
  261. >"Violent tendencies finally broke through!"
  262. >"I knew it, he couldn't be trusted!"
  263. >Flash remained silent, glaring at you with the intensity of the sun.
  264. >Rainbow and Rarity, however, took a short look between themselves.
  265. >"Twilight Sparkle HAS been acting a bit...odd recently." Rarity slowly started.
  266. >"Yeah. She asked me today about a race by wing, when I know she can't fly." Dash continued. "I just thought it might have been a change of heart for the egghead."
  267. >'Twilight' looked between her two friends, ears flattened against her skull and eyes brimming with tears the fake simply couldn't shed.
  268. "I have a simple test. If she passes it, by all means, rip me apart." You replied, holding the glass of water high.
  269. >The changeling panicked and fired off a green beam at the glass, knocking it out of your hands and onto the cobblestone.
  270. >"Green...?" Rarity started, before gasping.
  271. "Oh, so very sorry. You failed."
  272. >The fake, knowing the jig was up, spun on her heel and took off.
  273. >Dash, to her credit, was on the changeling in under a second, simply keeping it in Ponyville before going in for the kill.
  274. >Flash kept you pinned.
  275. "Hey, buddy, wanna let me go?"
  276. >He huffed, before releasing you.
  277. >"I still don't trust you. The Princess deserves better."
  278. "Yeah yeah, yo-wait, how do you know?"
  279. >Did everyone in this blasted town know already?!
  280. >He simply gestured to his cutie mark.
  281. >"I know when my charge, someone who *I* designate, is in danger. I saw through the window one night, those...disgusting things you were doing to her. Tying her up, the Black Iron, everything that night."
  282. >What, the bondage?
  283. >You chuckled, which quickly turned into a full blown belly laugh.
  284. "Hahaha, oh, oh good God that's good."
  285. >You clutched your sides.
  286. "Flash, my little voyeur, you've got a LOT to learn about women then."
  287. >"What?"
  288. "Alright, guy talk really quick." You waved him closer, before whispering into his ear. "Flash, buddy, she's into that stuff. She TOLD me to do it, Twilight likes the danger."
  289. >The pegasus flushed and his wings stood to attention almost immediately.
  290. >"Th-that c-c-can't be right..."
  291. "Now, tell anyone about this little secret, and I'll clip your wings!" You said with a broad smile. "We clear?"
  292. >He nodded mutely, his perfect little view of a pure Twilight Sparkle shattered like spun glass.
  293. >You gave him a pat on the shoulder.
  294. "Good!"
  295. >You then turned away from him and walked towards the crowd, where the changeling was currently being restrained.
  296. >Speaking of Black Iron...
  297. >You made a short detour to your house, grabbing the ring.
  298. >If it worked on changelings like it did ponies...
  299. >You finally caught up, Rainbow Dash pinning the changeling down by trapping its wings and hooves.
  300. >You calmly walked up, and planted the ring on its horn.
  301. >The facade failed immediately, revealing a small black...thing.
  302. >Glassy blue eyes, translucent wings, sharp fangs. Insect-like chitin plating where a regular pony's coat would be, which explained why that water test worked.
  303. >You gripped the bug by the throat, squeezing with enough force to crack the protective plating.
  304. "You're going to answer some questions for me, and then I'm going to end you." You started darkly. "How well you answer them determines how painless your death will be."
  305. ===
  306. >The changelings had left you alone for now, the hive apparently shutting down for the night.
  307. >Several of your ribs were fractured or outright broken, your chest felt like it was on fire.
  308. >Just breathing made you want to die.
  309. >A simple bone-setting spell would help, but if you could cast magic you wouldn't be here, would you?
  310. >Your left shoulder was also dislocated, the limb hanging down at an odd angle.
  311. >There was no feeling coming from it, you weren't sure if that was a good thing or not at the moment.
  312. >You had already hit your pain threshold several times during your public flogging.
  313. >Every time the pain would make you black out, the changelings would wake you back up with smelling salts.
  314. >'Only the best for Twilight Sparkle, Element of Magic,' they had cackled.
  315. >You had screamed yourself hoarse, your throat dry and scratchy.
  316. >Your hindquarters were sore, and you felt...violated.
  317. >They had... raped you too.
  318. >You felt unclean, and you weren't sure you ever would be again.
  319. >A fresh wave of anger tears came to your eyes, but you blinked them away.
  320. >They couldn't get the satisfaction of breaking you, not once.
  321. >Still...
  322. >You wanted your human, you wanted Anon to find you.
  323. >You hoped upon hope that he would somehow magically know where you were, and come bursting through the door.
  324. >Every hour, you looked at the door.
  325. >Every hour, you were disappointed.
  326. >Sixteen hours, twenty-three minutes in Tartarus brought to life.
  327. >You wished it would end.
