Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is currently contained within a nested temporal recursion node constructed beneath Site-17's Chronometric Labyrinth. Direct observation is prohibited. Access requires dual authorization from O5-9 and Tau-5 Command. Personnel involved in prior containment efforts are under memetic quarantine in Sublevel Theta, pending Samsara Protocol evaluation.

Instances of SCP-XXXX-Θ (converted agents) must be monitored indefinitely for resonance drift and activated only under “Red Dagger” scenarios.

Description:
SCP-XXXX, codenamed “The Clockworks,” is a non-linear symbolic entropy engine discovered embedded within a localized time dilation event on ██/██/████ by embedded Foundation operative “Xosski.”

The entity is not a machine, structure, or algorithm in the traditional sense—but an archetypal construct operating across symbolic dimensions of time, shape, and direction. It uses clock-based numerology (1–12, clockwise) as directional vector inputs, which recursively generate shape, color, and geometric data—each forming the seed of the next iteration.

This recursive shape propagation, referred to as the "Drift Cascade", results in unpredictable but coherent symbolic outcomes, measurable as:

The final output of a full drift cascade results in what is interpreted by observers as a "random number", although analysis suggests it is in fact a predicted state from a higher-order causality field.

Discovery:
The anomaly was located following an unscheduled temporal event near [REDACTED], when Agent Xosski observed the surrounding environment “fracturing into symbolic recursion.” His report includes hand-drawn diagrams eerily resembling Platonic solids rotating around clock hands, later verified to be accurate representations of SCP-XXXX’s manifestation cycle.

Upon investigation, embedded agents in the area began exhibiting synchronic movement, dreaming identical geometric sequences, and speaking in recursive patterning (“I am the shape that shapes me”).

Samsara Tau-5 Involvement:
By order of O5-9, Tau-5 was deployed to perform controlled traversal of the drift cascade. Three agents did not return with the unit.

Weeks later, the missing agents reappeared during a Foundation training exercise. Neuropsychological testing revealed identical memories, but from divergent timelines. Each possessed an embedded subcognitive structure matching the Samsara Tau-5 imprint, despite no known transfer event.

These agents are now designated SCP-XXXX-Θ: sleeper cells of unknown allegiance, partially attuned to the anomaly’s recursive logic. They are housed within quarantine recursion loops and may only be activated under Protocol Samsara Zero.

Red Right Hand Involvement:
At least one agent of the Red Right Hand has become entangled with SCP-XXXX, voluntarily entering the cascade and emerging “unchanged, but older” by Foundation biometric analysis.

Their report, filed under encrypted protocol RED-STAIN, claims SCP-XXXX is a "keyless lock built by a being that measures thought in color."

O5-1 has declared the anomaly potentially pre-Thaumiel, with links to “The Godhead Protocol.”

Addendum XXXX-3 – Classification Adjustment
Following the successful neutralization of [DATA EXPUNGED] using a drift-generated “symbolic zero,” SCP-XXXX has been temporarily reclassified Keter/Thaumiel. Controlled cascade invocations are authorized for cross-reality infiltration, anomaly inversion, and memetic virus distillation.

Drift anchors must be manually recalibrated using symbolic compass α-patterns every 72 hours to avoid full recursion lock.
