  1. These are worlds and empires that do not have UPPPM membership, by their own choice.
  2.
  3. Computer Space: A slowly expanding front of robotic vessels and other devices with the goal of expanding, slower than light, in a specific direction, and seeding any applicable worlds with life, both that which it has found on its travels, and that which comes from its home-world. It comes from the constellation of Sagittarius, and has left a 1000 lightyear long and approximately 10 lightyear wide swath of chaotic reconstruction. Their path may intersect Earth space in a few thousand years. No Computerized worlds yet discovered have any civilization, and the robotic vessels don't seem to be able to respond to any communication.
  4.
  5. Tiloi-Gribbert: An imperial multi-star civilization native to the binary planets Tiloi and Gribbert. No one is sure which world they originate, as there aren't any records of the beginning of space travel for their civilization and no one seems to be interested in archaeology or paleontology. They own 12 worlds of their own: two base worlds, two colony worlds, and eight assimilated worlds. The Tiloi-Gribbert Empire assimilates those nations and worlds which are technologically advanced, while enslaving and colonizing the less advanced regions. The empire is beginning to show signs of instability due to size. They are not formally at war with the UPPPM, but only due to distance. Tiloi-Gribbert are one of the three known civilizations that have developed Lightspeed Warp. They may do a lot to get their hands on a UPPPM Superluminal Warp engine.
  6.
  7. Billiam's World: During the early days of lightspeed warp, an eccentric man named Billiam Sagerdol and his crew stole a starship and explored around until he found a distant world on the verge of an industrial revolution. Using modern technology and manipulating their supersticious society, he implanted himself as the ruler of a small kingdom. He eventually conquered the planet. Billiam's grandson, the last viable human before first cousin marriages will be necessary, is in his old age. If no additional humans are allowed onto Billiam's world, then the ruling class will die and the world's government will be put into jeopardy. They may opt to join the UPPPM within 20 year
  8.
  9. Baily's World: Another world in the same system as Billiam's world, Bailey's World is an iron age society that was temporarily altered to an industrial revolution by the mutinous Baily Dickenson, who attempted to overthrow Billiam during the trip to Billiam's World. Rather than kill her, Billiam banished her to the less advanced, more massive planet in the system. Baily's world, over the course of two hundred years, has only just again been able to hold onto a stable industrial revolution, and is in regular heliographic communication with the inhabitants of Billiam's World.
  10.
  11. Luhmann 16 c "The Unlucky Planet": Despite an ideal atmosphere for humans to breathe, a decent temperature, and a totally safe star, every single human colonization effort has failed for some reason. The laws of probability are spookily turned out of the favor of any colonists, and so despite having no apparent civilization in any way, it makes the list for being one of the strangest locations in space.
  12.
  13. 61 Cygni A b: Also known as Mesklynn's Planet, it was long thought to be a super-jupiter in an eccentric orbit, but was eventually found to be a rapidly spinning world, with huge gravity at the poles and only 3 gee at the equator. The immense difficulty of maneuvering around it with a rocket has lead to difficulty in exploring it thus far. There is evidence of exotic hydrogen-breathing life, and lots of it.
  14. Mesklynn is occasionally used as a gravity assist for interstellar travel, as its high density and mass allow for many kilometers per second of velocity to be changed. The process of using gravity assists for interstellar travel is complex and convoluted and the subject for another topic, but in short it involves changing only your space/normal velocity.
  15. The planet is similar to a massive version of Derelth.
  16.
  17. 54 Piscium: A K0V and T7V binary. The K0V component has a planetary system with a gas giant in the habitable zone, and two habitable moons orbit it! It also has an abnormally large and dense planet with two terrestrial planet sized moons.
