As you may have noticed, we have made the decision to remove Violet from staff, effective immediately.

A group of users recently came to us with an image that we are not able to brush aside or ignore. In it, Violet describes taking revenge on an abuser by taking advantage of him sexually. No matter how awful of a person he might have been, sexual assault can not be justified and should not be used as a weapon. The users that originally brought this image to us stated that they no longer feel comfortable with Violet being a part of staff and we must agree with them.

It goes against our team's ideals and the server's promise to be a safe place for everyone to have an abuser on staff. The staff are here to protect the users and help them feel comfortable, our users will not feel safe or comfortable having someone that's committed sexual assault on this team. Therefore we've decided to remove Violet immediately as we feel this is urgent and can not wait any longer.

We realise this is sudden and many of you have concerns about the future of the server and our diminishing staff team. However we feel that this is a chance for improvement to both our staff and server.
